As summer winds down, we’re going to start seeing a lot of deals on outdoor furniture so retailers can make room for fall and winter seasonal items. Even your most inexpensive outdoor furniture is going to cost you a pretty penny. These all-weather armchairs from Restoration Hardware are on sale, but still a bit pricey. So I went to another one of my go-to stores: World Market.
Expensive:
Restoration Hardware Majorca Armchair ($769 Shipped)
This is a classic, simple design that’s woven by hand with all-weather strips of wicker. I thought the Terra finish looked the most like the frugal version and it came with a price tag of $620. Don’t let the cushion in the picture fool you. It’s sold separately for an additional $75-$200. I know that there are arguments to be made for Restoration Hardware’s products being higher quality which will last for years, but I just can’t bring myself to pay this much for only one chair when I could get a slew of them for the same price.
Frugal:
World Market Solano All-Weather Wicker Dining Chair ($133 Shipped)
I think this is the perfect look alike for the Restoration Hardware chairs. It’s made of resin wicker with a powder-coated steel frame. You can’t beat the reviews that this chair has, so I think it’s a great option if you’re shopping around for outdoor furniture. Plus wait and you’ll see it go on sale with a coupon code!
