I just got an email through RedPlum talking about 99cent Tugaboo diapers at RiteAid. Any clue what that is talking about?

      • East

There is a trial size package (2 diapers) in the 3 shelf baskets around the front of the store…they're 99 cents.

      • Jenn the tugaboo trial pack of diapers is 99 cents. And wyb 1 a $1 off coupon prints for you next purchase, not sure if theres a size limit

    • ihh

If I have a $5 off $20 video coupon and a $5 off $25 printable coupon, and make the olay deal into 2 seperate transactions, does that make the deal even sweeter??? Or I have to buy Olay microsculpting cream and serum together in order to get the $20 SCR?

      • Susan

No–you don't have to buy them together. It would definitely be best to split your transactions to use more coupons.

      • grace

my riteaid will use more than one coupon depending on the total. If you spend $50 then you can use two of the $5 off $25 at the same time. If one coupon is a man. coupon and the other is a riteaid coupon then both coupons should work together too. Hope that helps you.

    • curly23

Could you use 2 of the $5 Olay coupons in the Year of Savings coupon book on the Olay deal? That would make a better deal!

      • MandM

Yes – I am, plus doing separate transactions + using the RA Wellness $1Q (off $10 skin care purchase)…

        • Rachel

Will those coupons work on the serum?

          • MandM

They should – it's skin care.

        • Brooke

Thanks MandM for the reminder about the $1Q!!

    • aolss

Liked seeing the Olay deal – I've got a $20 allergy rewards certificate I can use to pay for it and get cash back :)

    • Catherine

Question about multiple rebates on the same item. Like the OLAY deal above—-
Is it fair to rebate for $20 in the Rite Aid store system AND also mail in for $20 on the same item?
Never had a chance to try it, but wonder if the mail-in would be honored.
What's the word on this out there in the coupon/rebating world?

      • Susan

Yes, it definitely works–one rebate is from Rite Aid (enter this online), and the other is from the manufacturer (mail receipt in). I've done this lots of times with Olay and rebate.

    • Jan

Claritin liq gel 24ct. $25.99-Use $5 off 25, $5 coupon in Rite Aid sales paper, $5 coupon in Newspaper, SCR is $3. Makes it $8.

      • grace

you can also use a $5/$20 video value coupon for an even cheaper deal if you are using the redplum $5/$25.

        • East

    • alicia

i'm new at this. is it ethical/legal to print and use the $5 off $25 coupon even though i don't live in that zip code?

      • MandM

YES! Everyone uses different zips to get different q's…Some blogs also post the zip to use to retrieve them as well.

    • Cindyrella2

There was a $2/2 Dixie Video Values Coupon last month, so if you watched it in April, you'll be able to save even more on the Dixie plates.

      • AmyFMSC

Great! Thanks for reminding us about that. I need paper plates!

      • aclanford

The dixie plates are on sale even cheaper at Publix. Use the RA Q and make a sweet deal!

    • Faye

{{{Jenny}}} Thank you so much for posting the Rite Aid ad a day early. This will help so much because I'm now putting my list together and pulling coupons for early Sunday morning. Now all I'll have to do is Ingles and Kroger tomorrow night. CVS was done last night.

We appreciate all you do. Best wishes with the plumbing problems.

    • Liz

Weird! I have made my default printer settings B&W, but the last 3 coupons I've printed have all come out color! Waste of money and I can't figure out what's happening?!?!

      • Tracey

This is a very annoying feature of the coupon printer software. It overrides your printer settings. I have mine set to “black ink only” and 99.9% of the time, the coupons print in color.

    • gracie1

Please tell me what is SCR?

      • Shirley

It stands for Single Check Rebate. You’ll have to go to Riteaid.com and sign up for the rebate program. Then after you make any purchase that has a rebate offer, you go back into their website and enter your receipt. At the end of the month, you have to go back into their website and request your rebate check for any rebate purchases you made that month.

      • carolc23

It's a Store Credit Rebate. See the getting started guide for Rite Aid for explanation, It's super easy – all you do is input some info from your receipt on the riteaid website, and at the end of the month get a check in the mail.

        • Susan

          Actually, Single Check Rebate

          • carolc23

            Single, Store, SSSSSS :) lol!

    • Anna

Dooes anyone know if you can do the Olay deal if you just did one? I think the deadline was May for the one I turned in. Thanks!

      • Susan

Not if it was the “4/11 Rebate offer 192-092.” The deadline for that one was May 9th, I think, but it's been extended through the end of June. So, if you did that specific one already, you can't do it again.

    • Angel

Isn't there a $2 Purex coupon in the Video Values? That would make the Purex deal even sweeter!

      • melirish

yes there is! And there is also a coupon in the free samples purex sent out

    • Sonya D

There's also a cheap Garnier Nutrisse deal. It's on sale for 5.99, there's a $2 May video value coupon, and a newspaper insert coupon for $2. That makes it only $2 total.

    • how do you get the second mail in coupon booklet from the olay deal?

      • Krista_A

It's with the P&G rebate, you have to submit by receipts this month

        • Angie

I got the Olay deal otday and have completed my Olay rebate form. I then went to do the P&G coupon book rebate and realized that they BOTH require the original receipt. How can I get both with only one receipt?

          • Susan

You can't….most of us used receipts for other P&G products (Secret, Old Spice, etc.) to get the coupon booklet…these were items that could be entered in past months online to get RA SCR's for them but weren't needed to mail in for cash rebates…so we got the coupon booklet with the receipts, instead.

          • Susan

BUT you will qualify for SCR #4–P&G coupon booklet when you purchase $30 worth of their products.

          • Tanya

My question exactly! Anybody know the answer?

    • grace

I just wanted to let you know that you can print a coupon from redplum for $5/$25 and use the video value coupon for $5/$20 in the same transaction. I did that this week and got 3 packs of diapers for $6 with tax. I used the $3 off huggies (3) and the video value coupon for $1 off huggies (3) too. Now all I have to do is buy two more packs and get a free one through the rebate program. This way you will automatically get $10 off a $25 purchase which will lead to great deals.

      • Krista_A

If your total exceeds the amount of the $5/25 or $5/20, can you use even more of the $5/25? I've never tried this. If so you could get all 5 packs of diapers for $3.95 plus tax.

        Buy (5) packs @ $8.99
        -(4) $5/25
        -(1) $5/20
        -(5) $3 printable huggies
        -$1 video value huggies

        • Jenn_D

The only way you should be able to use multiple $5/25 coupons would be if you spend $50, you should be able to use (2) $5/25 Q's. So, for the diapers, you could buy 5 packs @ $8.99 = $44.95 + small filler item. Then you could use:
          (1) $5/20
          (1) $5/25
          (5) $3 Huggies Q's
          $1 Video Values Q's

Makes for a decent deal, then you could submit those for the free pack of Huggies voucher

          • East

but you'd have to break that into 2 transactions.

            • Krista_A

Why would it have to be 2 transactions?

            • Susan

It doesn't—the coupons scan just fine.

      • mary

sorry it doesn't work like that. you use one coupon or the other. you can't combine the two offers. you obviously had an uninformed cashier. i wouldn't recommend that anyone else try this.

        • Susan

My store lets me do it all the time….actually, I saw a manager tell another customer about it so she could do the same!

          • bridget

Yup, the manager at my RA also thinks this is fine.

            • Meme

Ok, I'll give it a try tomorrow. We'll see what happens. But it still seems unethical to me…

            • Susan

I don't feel like it's unethical if the manager at my store is promoting it—he literally was giving couponing advice to people, telling them that they could use both the 5 off 25 and 5 off 20.

            • Roni

That just does not seem right to me…I won't do it.

            • eww

i work at rite aid and i know that manager will get fired if word gets up about him doing that. it's one or the other

            • Meme

THANK YOU for the heads-up. I won't be doing it afterall! I knew something smelled fishy about that…

      • Meme

That is very dishonest and you can get that cashier in trouble. Please don't make all couponers look bad!

      • Logansmom318

I printed the coupon from redplum and it is a manufacturers coupon. So….not unethical or wrong at all to use in conjunction with a rite-aid coupon. Its just like using a $1 man q and a $1 rite-aid q for the same product. Not sure why everyone is so quick to jump on someone for getting a great deal. Geez

      • Cindyrella2

I have done this successfully with a $45 order, but would not attempt it with a $25 purchase.

    • Jenn_D

For the Video Values coupons, can you use multiple coupons for the same item in the same transaction? It says “one per customer”. I was thinking about using a couple of the huggies video value coupons with the $3 Manf. Q's to qualify for the free package of huggies

      • Susan

You can—I do it all the time.

    • Roni

I have a question regarding the Kingsford Charcoal……can you use all (3) Q's for the Freebies when you buy only one (1) bag of Charcoal??

      • Susan

        • Roni

Really….well I'll try it and see if it works…Thanks Susan.

    • Sandi

Could you break the olay deal into two transactions and use filler items to have two $25 tranactions to use 2 $5 off $25 coupons and still get the SCR?

      • Susan

        Yes—read posts further down

    • aclanford

I can't find the Ace bandage $2 off Q. Any ideas? Diff zips? Please help!

    • Steph

Okay, so I went to RA to do the Olay deal…my Rite Aid doesn't carry the serum! She gave me a rain check for $12 per item for if/when they do get it in, but then I won't be able to use the $5/$25 like I was planning and the deadline for the Olay rebate might pass by then. What a let down for me. I had planned a $11 moneymaker :)

      • AmyFMSC

My Rite Aid didn't have the serum either! The cashier said I could buy two of the creams and the rebate would work. Now that I am home and have read the SCR details at the website, I'm not so sure. I sent an inquiry to the SCR department at Rite Aid telling them what the cahier told me and that they didn't even have the serum to sell. I'm hoping they will push the $20 SCR through anyway. Maybe you could send an inquiry to them as well telling them that your Rite Aid doesn't carry it either and if they get enough people complaining that the stores don't even have the product, they will go ahead and give the SCR regardless.

        • Ashley

I'm pretty sure the tag on the shelf said cream or serum for the $20 rebate at the store

        • AmyFMSC

I heard back from Rite Aid already. The response said, “You must purchase one of each as specifically stated in the offer. We honor rainchecks for out of stock items. Rainchecks will be honored for all rebate offers during any promotional rebate period. Rainchecks must be used within 30 days to purchase product on rebate and qualify for the rebate. The receipt must state 'Raincheck' under the participating rebate product item to qualify for rebate.”

I called another Rite Aid that is nearby. They had the serum, so I exchanged one of the creams. They had a separate Olay display in one of those center kiosks in cosmetics that had the serum & cream together. The cashier said they just set it out, so maybe your store has it but hasn't displayed it yet. It sounds like a pain to get a SCR for a raincheck item, IMO.

          • Lily

The serum you bought is micro-sculpting serum or regenerating serum? I wonder if they are same thing, if the regenerating serum is qualified for RA rebate. Thanks.

            • AmyFMSC

It's Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum in a red bottle.

            • Lily

Thank you! I have to return it to get the right one, if they have it in the store.

    • Heather

With the B1G1 deals, do you have to buy 2, or do they charge each at half price?

      • Susan

You have to buy 2–first is full price, second is free

        • Heather

    • becky

i don't know about you guys stores, but in rocky mount and wilson, they never have the sale items at all. after 3-5 times going and everything was out and i mean i go at 10am on mon mornings nothing ever in stock. they are off my list for good. and usually walgreens has the same deals, without having to wait for a rebate.

      • Roni

I have the same problem at my Rite-Aid (in CA), but the coupon policy is so much easier than WAGS.

      • Susan

Hey, I grew up in Rocky Mount–live in Atlanta now!

      • Meme

That happens a lot at my RA too. It's annoying. They know there's going to be a sale, and yet they don't have the sale items in stock!! I remember a few month ago when the Dove Men's body wash was on sale for $ with a $4 SCR (making it free). My RA didn't have even one on the shelves!

      • Dianne

I don't know if this pertains to RA, but my CVS manager says they have to order 10 weeks out. He is trying really hard to order ahead and keep up. Maybe you could tell your RA manager about your frustration in a nice conversation. Convince him he'd have more sales in the long run if he could get ahead of the game! HTH.

Can anyone tell me if this will work….this is what I am planning on doing….?

$13.51 profit plus tax….any opinion if this will work…it seems to good to be true….would love any thoughts….:)

      • Ashley

Absolutely, you are good to go. I've been doing money making Olay rebates since February. You will get your check back from Olay in no time(usually).

Also, since you probably have the wellness card, there was an email for $1 off $10 skin care. Print twice and get an extra $2 off.

        • Susan

I wouldn't wait to go do this deal, though–I got the last 2 Olays my store had–and that was at 3:00 today!

        • Melissa

you say that you have been doing them since feb? so even though the end total after the coupons is not 50.00 they will still send you a 20.00 mail in rebate??

      • Kimberly

where are you getting the $5 olay regenerist coupon from??

        • Susan

It's in the P&G coupon “Thank you mom” booklet that you can get by mail when you send in $50 in receipts of P&G products.

      • diane

remember that you'll need to give your 5 off 25 coupons first!

    • Val

I went to Rite Aid today and the Coppertone is not Buy One Get one free. Only the banana boat and one other brand

      • Susan

I saw the same–I think the B1G1 part is buy the spray or lotion and get the sunblock stick free.

      • Tenessa

it was buy one coppertone over 9.99 and get a stick free (9.99 was specified on the shelf tag)

    • Heather

Does anyone know how much the Purex is?? I'm trying to get my list together, but I need to get the price for the Purex detergent. Thanks!

      • Susan

The Purex 3-in-1 sheets are $8.99.

      • Tenessa

the bottles were 5.99 at my store.

    • Can somebody please help ASAP!!! I have so many coupons missing from my SS. Like this week for Wal Greens the Lamisil AT is not in there and I have three SS from newspapers. I have had numerous instances like this and i know I have not used these coups. Are these regionals or WHAT!!!!

      • diane

Newspapers' coupons are regional. I know that you can get coupons from online services if you need them, though.

    • Lily

Does anyone know if Olay Regenerist Regenerating serum ($21.99) is qualifying for RA $20 rebate. I realized that I bought Regenerating serum, instead of Microsculpting Serum, which I couldn’t find in two RA stores. I also searched Olay.com for Regenerist products, they don’t have so called Regenerist Microsculpting Serum, they only have Regenerist Regenerating serum/fragrance free serum. I am wondering if they are same thing. Thanks very much for any information/confirmation on that.

      • Susan

They are not the same thing…I saw both at my store and compared the two upc's. They were different.

        • Susan

Oh, and the regular price of the microscultpting serum is $29.99–on sale for $22. The regular price of the regenerating one is $21.99.

    • Nicole

Last week I went to get some of the Huggies Little Swimmers for 6.99. They were 9.49. The manager said that perhaps this website is using the Rite Aid website's prices. She also told me that they had the same problem with wipes earlier in the day. Not sure what to do to get the deals. Can you help me?

    • Meme

Ay my Rite Aid, the Little Swimmers were $6.99, and the Huggies wipes were 2/$5. You should discuss this with the corporate office-for some reason, your RA didn't have the sale prices in their computer system.

    • pharmSCgirl

So, this is the first week in a long time that I am excited about shopping at Rite Aid. Here's my plan:
      (1) Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Serum $22
      (1) Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream $22
      (1) Olay Regenerist Cleansing Cloths 30 ct $7.29
-$5 off $25 Rite Aid Coupon
-$1 off $10 Skin Care Purchase
      – (3) $5 off any Olay Regenerist Product
-$20 Rite Aid Certificate (from Allergy Rewards Program)
      -$10 Rite Aid Gift Card
      Total: $0.29 + tax
Get back (2) $20 Rebates and a P&G Coupon Book

Now, I just have to hope and pray that a Rite Aid in this area has all of those products.

      • nw_trekker

How is it $40 in rebates when it says $20 rebate for 2 items? There are only 3 items total. Please advise. Thanks.

        • Susan

The RA SCR rebate is $20, but then you can mail your receipts into Olay to receive their rebate of $20 for purchasing $50 worth of Olay products—(you have to purchase both the serum and cream for $44 and add another Olay product to go over $50.) The Olay manufacturer rebate form is found on the company's website.

          • Thanks for explaining the details. I guess I should have been more clear. I actually found the items at my Rite Aid and ended up paying $3.61 OOP for a profit of $36.39. My coupon for the $1 off of $10 worth of skin care items wouldn't scan and so the cashier wouldn't take it. I was okay with that since it was just a $1. I feel like I stole the products anyway. Does anyone else ever feel bad for getting such a good deal? I know I shouldn't, but I do.

            • Dama

I do feel bad sometimes, but then I figure this is the only steal I can get away with and not have to worry about going to jail :)

    • Susan

Regarding rebate #800–buy 5 packs of Huggies, get a voucher for a free one–I just had something very strange happen. I bought 3 packs of Huggies swim diapers this past week and one pack of Huggies Jean diapers–I entered my receipt, expecting to be able to add the 5th pack for the free voucher later. When I did, however, my detailed list unexpectedly told me I qualified for the voucher–with only 4 packs! (3 of which–the swim diapers–aren't even listed to count for this deal) Strange!

Anyone having problems with Internet coupons at RA? I was there (KY) today and tried the Coppertone deal with my Internet coupons, of course. And the manager was quick to point out the new policy on coupons. Only 1 internet coupon up to $5 can be used in a transaction, it was posted by the register. I told him I could find a better deal elsewhere. I'll try another RA or just stop shoppiong there all together.

      • I had a similar encounter several months ago. It turned out that it was an old coupon policy. I am not aware of them changing the one that can be printed out. I would definitely try another Rite Aid.

    • Hall199

I went to Rite Aid today to get the Olay deal but there was no SCR sign with the Olay products. Does this mean that my local Rite Aid is not offering that SCR or is it not posted in the store? And can someone clarify which products this is for so I can be sure I am gettting the right products for this deal. I use a lot of Olay products, but I was unsure about the sculpting description.

      • I went in and looked for the Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting products and could not find them on the shelf with the other Olay Regenerist products. There was a sign about the SCR, but it was even attached to the wrong price tag. The SCR will be honored even if there wasn't a tag b/c it is located in the big SCR catalog that they usually have on the sales ad rack. You may want to pick one up and find the SCR in it to make sure you get the right products. I eventually found them on a display rack located in Cosmetics. If you click on my screen name it will take you to my blog where you can see what I bought. Good luck and happy shopping!

I didn't think it was a good Rite Aid week for me but I made the best of it and got 2 pks of Purex 3-in-1 sheets, 2 boxes of Pop-Tarts, 2 bottles of nail polish and a Dove candy bar for $5.11 + tax :-)

    • mommyfreecycles

I went to an Athens, GA store today and the Olay cream and serum were full price, at 29.99. Half an hour away in Lilburn they were on sale, I checked online. Is there any way I could get them to match the sale price?

      • pharmSCgirl

Mine rang up at $29.99 but once the Wellness+ card is scanned the sale price will show up. Was it in your sales ad as being on sale?

      • NewSaver

If it wasn't in your weekly ad they are not on sale (Not sure if you're still eligible for the rebate). I live in Savannah and the Olay products are $29.99 as well. I was bummed.

        • Susan

          Rebate will still work.

    • Emilytwinmom

I ran into our local store to grab diapers and wipes, and the pampers wipes refill packs are on sale for $5.99 instead of $7.99! BONUS! Thought I would share in case anyone else needed wipes. I used the $2.50 coupon for both, and the $5/20 using a few filler items, great deal!

    • Cindyrella2

I have done this successfully with a $45 order, but would not attempt it with a $25 purchase.
