2. Change size from “shrink to fit” to “100%”

    • X74mp59

What do the letters “S” and “M” (no pun intended) stand for on your list? These are in color on the LH side.

      • Lsmith3377

I believe those stand for “manufacturer” and “store” so you will know what type of coupon it is.

    • Kathryn

i was wondering that as well

    • Mulletavenger20

      M = Manufacturer's coupon and S = Store coupon

    • Mhaubrey

is anyone else having problems printing the rite aid Q off redplum?? When I try to access from the link above, it says access denied. When I tried to go to redplum's website, it says print limit reached.

      • Bamabobbie

        Mine also says access denied.

      • Alslaughter2

I went to the Red Plum website and it printed out just fine. I got the same message following her link here.

        • shelly

what zip did you use because I am having trouble in both places?

    • Linda

I received the same message. I need this $5.00 coupon so hopefully, the problem will be fixed.

    • candace

Do some Rite Aids start their sales on Saturday (like CVS)? I noticed that one of the Colgate coupons expires on 8/28, but the sale begins 8/29.

      • No they don't start early. I just didn't catch that one. Sorry.

    • Afhoke

    • Denalowenberg

Isn't the Aqua Fresh toothpaste Free after the Store and Manuf. coupons? the listing is the second one above “School Supplies”.
Also, I like the new set up for manuf and store coupons. It is much easier to see. thanks!

    • Pinkyeti

    • becca

what is the clip and save coupon book?

      • I am wondering the same thing. I would like to get this coupon booklet but don't know where.

      • SenoraE

It's in the pharmacy for flu shot recipients. Signs say no purchase necessary, so kindly point that out & they should give you one. HTH!

    • andrea

when do the rite aid $5.00 coups reset. It says I have reached my print limit. Thanks.

      • Smartblonde

It's a mystery. Often at the beginning of the month, but this new Q has an expiration date of December so, many are wondering if won't reset for awhile.

    • pfsinnh

Does anyone know if Rite Aid is able to print out duplicate receipts after checkout? It looks like I'll need a couple of original receipts for several of these rebate programs. :)

      • Lisa

i don't think they can. i had the same problem a couple weeks ago. you have to just do separate purchases for the separate receipts. i would ask your store, though. they may have a different system.

        • pfsinnh

Hmmmm…that will be such a bummer if we can't. There's $30 total in Olay rebates at stake. I'll go ask my store today and cross my fingers! :) Thanks!

      • Aminehdestin

There's nothing in the register that allows a duplicate receipt to print. Sorry. The only way we can actually print out a transaction's details is on the computer in the office, but it prints on a sheet of paper, not a receipt.

    • Stephanie in Bham

Can anyone tell me where I can get the RA clip and save booklet? Thanks!

      • I would love to know that too!

        • Buckgirl80

I have been looking for one as well, and still can not seem to find it. Can anyone share where to find the clip and save booklet? TIA

      • Smartblonde

The book will be given out to customers who get flu shots. Although, some stores went ahead and put them out for anyone to grab.

      • SenoraE

I posted above to another reader, but they are in the pharmacy. You're supposed to get one if you get a flu shot, BUT all the signs in the store say NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. So… nicely point that out & they should give you one in the pharmacy! :)

    • Aatgreene

how many times can you print a video values coupon?

      • Only once.

      • Smartblonde

You can print it a million times, but the coupons are tied to your card so you will only be able to use the coupon once.

    • Guest

Yeah, I was looking at this ad last week on i heart rite aid. I though tmy head was going to explode or something it was going in so many directions with all the deals! lol.

    • Bonnie

Thanks again Jenny! I would have missed some of these if not for you!

    • Sharon

Would have liked to have had the option to be able to print in black and white and not use the color ink.

      • Starr

I love the new look, but I wondered the same thing…I would think it would use more ink when we print out our list.

      • Nancybgood14

you can set your printer to print only back and white

      • Amy

Are you talking about the shopping list? Mine only printed in black and white, but I prefer color so that I can differentiate between store and manufacturer coupons. The little red and blue buttons didn't print either to easily see what is what. I'm sure she will get the bugs out….

      • Stephanie in Bham

you should be able to change to black and white in the print box that pops up before you print.

    • Benjamin

Where is the Pantene store coupon located? In which booklet?

    • Atraxler

Beautiful new site! Not seeing where the limits are for the items, though? Do I just assume there is a limit of one if I don't see a limit posted? Thank you for everything!

    • kcreviews

Thanks, Jenny, so much for all your hard work. I really preferred it when the q's were in red because it was easier to read, but I'm not complaining!

      • Val

The rebate form has changed it's now purchases from August 20! :)

        • kcreviews

Huh. I must have the old one. Will reprint. Thanks!

      • Patagonia

I agree, I really like it when the coupons were in Red and Blue, it was definitely a lot easier to see them at a glance when you are pressed for time. Otherwise, I think that everything is absolutely beautiful now! :)

    • Sindiec

When I try to print the $5 off coupon from Redplum I'm getting an “access denied” notice.

      • Westkycouponlady

I got an error message when I used her Redplum link, but I was able to go directly to the Redplum site & print it from there. So sorry Jenny – I try to always link through so you'll get the credit for it!

    • Allison

Love the new site! But, help!, where did the title on the shopping list go? I print all of your lists and keep them in my binder and have some for both weeks at each store. Is this going to be added back? Thanks for all you do!

    • SSheila

I can't find the Boudreaux's Butt Paste Rite Aid Coupon. I thought it would be a value video coupon, but I don't have it. Can anyone help! I love this stuff and so does my son's booty :) haha

      • mediamom

I wondered the same thing! Can't find the store coupon anywhere!

      • becca

It should be in the September adperks that start tomorrow (?).

      • Smartblonde

It's a VV coupon for the month of September (so, you won't be able to view it until tomorrow)

    • Nancybgood14

Is lowes food store coming back. I know you have not finished I was just wondering. can't wait to see you is Sept.

      • Amy

Lowes Foods is under the “Other” button at the top. Maybe she has since added it back in since your post.

    • Starr

Heads up! I didn't catch it on here, until I read a comment on another site that if you print the $4/2 Nivea body wash that you can get 2 for free instead of 1!! Jenny has the link for the q though! Thank you Jenny!

      • jessica

how do u use q 2 get 2 for free?

        • You only use one q. 2 @ $3 = $6. Use $4/2 coupon. Pay $2 and get $2 +Up reward makes both free.

    • Smartblonde

The book will be given out to customers who get flu shots. Although, some stores went ahead and put them out for anyone to grab.

    • Joan

Can I use 2 $5 off the Regenerist Olay? and also I found a buy one get one free Oil of Olay cleanser in the 7/11 ss (I think).

    • Awesome job on the scenario!! Impressive work as always. It gives me a headache trying to put together these things, and you make it look easy ;)

    • Joan

      Help..transacton #1…what qualifies for the $15 + up?

      • Joan

Silly me…found it..I guess I thought I was smarter than Jenny. Duh!

    • Guest

Here is a really low OOP scenario for the $15 +UP wyb $50 participating products:

Okay, I had to re-work another scenario based on the coupons I have. It's all good though because my hubby loves the gillette body wash. I was totally going for the money-maker here because we need other things, so I was just trying for the least OOP possible. And, I can always donate deoderant and oral care supplies–our shelters and food pantries always need those items.

Again, some of these coupons expire on 8.31

      3 Gillette Deoderant $12

      3 Gillette Body Wash $12

2 Old Spice Fresh Collection $8

      Secret $4

      2 Oral B Pulsar $9.98

      1 Crest $2.69

      2 Gain $1.78

      Total: $50.45

      -$5/25 coupon

      -$6 (3) $2 Gillette Deoderant from 8/1 PG

-$12 (3) FREE Gillette body wash WYB gillette deoderant 8/29 PG

-$4 BOGO Old Spice Fresh Collection ($100 rebate book PG)

-$4 Free Secret WYB 2 Old Spice Fresh Collection

      -$4.99 BOGO Oral B manual 8/8?

      -$1 Oral B 8/1 PG

-$1 RA Oral B–clip and save coupon book

      -$1 Crest 8/1 PG

-$1 Crest Rite Aid clip and save coupon book

      -$1/$10 Rite Aid wellness coupon

      -$1.78 (2) $1 Gain coupons–PG 8/29

      Total Due: $7.78

Get back: $15 +UP, $2 Pulsar SCR, $1 Crest SCR, and this will finish up my Oral Care rebate for $10.

      • SenoraE

If you split it into 2 transactions you can save $5 more by using a second $5 / $25 coupon AND use the UPs on the second transaction!! :)

        • Jessica

No, If you split into 2 transactions, it will no longer qualify for the $15 UP. (Must purchase $50 or the UP won't print.

    • GA Girl

WoW! I know a lot of work went into making this look so professional and user friendly. Thanks Jenny for making it so easy for the rest of us to be thrifty and generous to others. Your time and service is greatly appreicated.

    • Shearfun13

Where do you get the PG $100 coupon book??

      • Amelia

You had to submit receipts in the beginning of the year for the booklet. There is a new one for grabs now. Spend $50 and get a 100 booklet.

        • Shearfun13

          Oh, I see. Thanks!

    • Bamabobbie

Can't find the RA booklet that the Pantene coupon is in? Any help?

      • SenoraE

They are in the pharmacy if you get a flu shot. On the signs in the store it says NO PURCHASE NECESSARY, so I said but the sign says that I don't have to buy anything to get the coupons. I got an eye roll, but I did get the coupon book!!! :)

        • Bamabobbie

Thanks for the info. I looked but will look again. Guess I overlook it.

        • Stephanie in Bham

Thank you SenoraE for the info!

    • SenoraE

If you buy $50 in 3M, would you double dip and get back $10 from the buy $30 in school supplies AND $10 for buy $50 of 3m? Thanks for your help fellow shoppers!

      • pfsinnh

        I think you are right.

    • glammyyams

where would i find a clip and save booklet for rite aid?

    • WS

I am new to couponing at Rite Aid-Will they allow separate transactions in the same day to use the +UP rewards like Wags allows? Thanks!

      • Amelia

Currently yes, but some Rite Aids have said that this might change.

        • WS

Thanks so much! This is one reason I stick to CVS:-)

          • Amelia

I was a huge CVSer…and the managers know me by name. I help them do their deals; however, I believe currently RA is just that much better. I have 250 points. I will have gotten 150 dollars back in SCR + 50 in gift cards. I have so much to show for that 100 dollars including 11 packs of diapers. With the Ups, SCR, and wellness rewards, I think this is the best. Plus, I always buy my milk there. Company policy…if it is within 5 days of expiring it is 1/2 price. (and I get wellness points =))

    • Krc1634

Where do you get the $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet? I have not seen these.

    • Katkoupon

I tried to print the $5/$25 RP, got an error message “Permission denied…to get property Window.document from… Anyone else get this? Thanks!

      • WD

No, but I printed this one last week. However, I just did the video values at riteaid.com and printed 3 of these coupons by watching videos (1 for watching 20 commercial videos, 1 for watching video @ prescriptions, and 1 for watching the wellness video. You also receive a store coupon for each product video you watch. HTH.

      • WD

No, but I printed mine last week. However, I just earned/printed 3 of these at riteaid.com. Start with this link http://my.adperk.com/offer/d30b50da#vo. HTH.

      • Chris

Just got the same message! :(

      • grace

        yes, but it still printed

    • Kristy

To my fellow couponers in greenville,sc. Most of these deals no longer apply to us.. since most of our stores are now 50% off on almost everything =( So sad!

      • Ashley

The store on Woodruff? Is that the one you are referring to? I typically go to the one on Hudson and Old Spartanburg, but have been at the beach for two weeks…have they started a sale as well?

        • Kristy

Woodruff Rd has already started. From what I heard the only ones NOT changing over are the ones in Piedmont and Powdersville. If your store hasn't gone already it will probably go Tuesday. This is per the Store Manager at the one in Simpsonville. Five Forks and Hwy 14/Main street Simpsonville already have a TON of stuff 50%. The only stuff that is not on sales is the drug store part of it and diapers.lol They are changing into Rite Aid/Save A Lots. So they are trying to get rid of the stuff that came from the Rite Aid warehouse.

          • kristy

oh i just remembered. He did stay that Batesville and Taylors are going to be the liquidation stores. Batesville will continue to be a liquidation store , he wasn't sure about the one in Taylors.

    • jlynnskiminny

Thanks for all your work you share with us!!! I was wondering if you could fix something though about the way the new site prints off the shopping list….
before, when I would print it off, it would print off the store name and date range…
i just printed it off and it contains neither of those bits of info. I'm just saying it would be more helpful if you could change that…
anyways, I thank God for blessing me with this website. It has saved me thousands!!!

    • SSheila

I have a question. (-$10 SCR #560 WYB $25 of Oral Care products) – Is this only for this week or will all oral care purchases for the month go towards the $25? Or do all of the oral care items need to be purchased in one transaction?

      • Fgavent

All oral care items purchased for the month go towards the $25 (but you have to input each receipt for them to count towards the $25). They do not have to be purchased in one transaction.

      • pfsinnh

It is cumulative, so you don't have to purchase in one transaction. HTH

    • pfsinnh

      Hi Everyone,
Seriously…my head is spinning there are so many rebate programs going on right now. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this in the past, but it is worth mentioning again.

John Frieda Root Awakening Smoothing Lotion
      Colgate ProClinical Daily Whitening
Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deeep Conditioner
Secret Clinical Strength Sensitive Skin Deodorant
      Tampax Pearl Multi-pack
      Vitafusion Multivites

Purchase must be between 8/2-9/24. Send original receipt and include your name address, and telephone number to:

You can find more info on the rebate by going to (or Googling) Fitness Magazine Free for Fall with Rite Aid

      • pfsinnh

My apologies…the purchases have to be made between 8/24-9/24…I didn't proof read and missed a “4” in there! Sorry! (It's time for me to go to bed…I'm exhausted!)

      • Mom2Angel

OK this stinks …. I am just now reading this and I purchased the John Freida but I bought it on the 22 so I miss the purchasing dates and now no more sale :(

        • bummer for me too- I bought JF and Secret on the 23rd- one day too early! But there will most likely be sales before the end day in Sept to get on it. Thanks for the info!

    • grace

I wish Rite Aid could make the UP rewards cumulative like ECBs so that you do not have to purchase so much in one transaction to earn the UP Rewards, with that said, I still LOVE Rite Aid! My favorite!!

    • Barb75Dean

Where do I get the “Rite Aid booklet” and/or the $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet that are referenced above?

      • pfsinnh

The booklet is supposed to be handed out to all people who get their flu shots with Rite Aid, but I was lucky and bumped into a really nice Rite Aid employee who let me have one just for the heck of it.

      • Beth

I emailed Rite Aid because all 3 of my Rite Aid stores said they had used the books as bag stuffers. When they emailed me back, they were not sure which book I was referring to. The girl said that they currently have 2 coupon books out. 1 for the Flu shots and 1 for the SCR program. She is sending me 2 of each since I could not find any near me!

    • Krc1634

Has anyone found the Boudreaux's Butt Paste store coupon? My value videos does not show it.

      • pfsinnh

They will be available tomorrow as a September Video Values coupon.

      • SPA78

Its there just look for the zialtin(spelling) too. It is the same coupon

    • pfsinnh

Okay…here's one scenario I came up with for the “Buy $50 Get $15 UP's” promo. There is not a ton of variety here, but this scenario would be wonderful for someone who really loves getting the Olay Regenerist creams at a steal. And actually, it pretty much is a steal because this scenario is a $15.00 MONEY MAKER.

      (2) Oral-B Manual Toothbrushes at $2.69
      (2) Oral-B Pulsar Toothbrushes at $4.99
      (1) Olay Regenerist Anti-aging Skin Care at $21.99
      (1) Olay Regenerist Skin Care product of Equal Value $21.99 (becomes $11.00 from BOGO50% off special
      (1) Tampax Tampons at $2.99
      Total = $51.34

      (1) $5/$25
      (2) BOGO Oral-B Manual Toothbrush 8/15RP (I believe)
      (2) $1/1 Oral-B Manual Toothbrush 8/1PG or 8/29PG
      (1) $1/1 Oral-B Toothbrush R/A Clip-n-Save Booklet
      (2) $5/1 any Olay Product $100 PG Booklet
      (1) $2/1 Olay Skin Care R/A Clip-n-Save Booklet
      (1) $1/1 Tampax Tampons (or do the Always Maxi-pads instead)
      (4) UP's Rewards from last week
      =Out of Pocket $18.66
Get back: $15 UP's, $3SCR's total for toothbrushes (use for stocking stuffers), $1SCR for the Tampax/Always deal, $5 Rite Aid GC for the Buy $15, Get $5 Oral Care, submit receipt for a $10 rebate for the “Buy $30, Get $10” from Olay/Secret/CoverGirl/Pantene Deal

I know that many of you still don't have the Clip-n-Save Booklet yet, but keep trying. For the Olay coupons, you can go to the Olay website and print some nice $3/1 coupons.

      • glammyyams

i tried to get the $3.00 coupon and it said it would be mailed in three to four weeks! where can we print them?

        • pfsinnh

I didn't realize that $3.00 Q wasn't printable. (That's TERRIBLE you Oil of Olay people!) Okay…I believe your best bet would be to look on ebay, and if you looked there you may even get a $5.00/1 coupon. And at least you would have it in a couple of days and not 3 weeks from now.

          • pfsinnh

It looks like there will be some Olay coupons in this Sunday's paper in P&G. 8/29 Good timing!

    • Hisgurl7

How many of the RA $5 off $25 coupons from Red Plum can you use? Is it like the VV ones that you can only use one because it's linked to your Wellness Card? It lets you print 2 per printer, but I know that doesn't mean you can use them both.

      • jessica

I've already used 4 of them with no problems.

      • Aminehdestin

You can use both that it allows per computer. They are 2 unique coupons, which you can tell by looking at the dotted code at the top, the numbers underneath it are unique to the coupon. So even if you have access to 8 computers and print 2 each, they are each different so there's no problem with using each of them. Just no copies, because that's wrong. ;-P

      • kjmiller

You can use both, though not in the same transaction.

    • Couponhunter215

I have a question maybe some of you “seasoned couponers” can answer: It looks like my Wellness card now gives me 10% certain products automatically. Do I need to factor this in when spending $50 to get $15 UP? In other words, do I need to spend $55 in order to qualify?

      • pfsinnh

Yes, you do need to factor in your discount into the purchase. Your wellness card will automatically deduct your 10% before you can use any of your coupons. However, if any of the products you buy in that scenario are “on sale”, then the register won't deduct your 10% and you'll be okay.

I'm not sure what items are on sale and which ones are regular price.

      • toni

All items going toward the $50 are on sale, so your 10% discount won't apply. Also, be sure that you buy the right products. Lots of people are saying that their $15+up didn't print, but I don't think they are buying the right products. The list is pretty specific as to what qualifies. You have to buy certain Crest, certain Gillette deodorants, certain Secret deodorants, etc. You just can't grab any of those product lines off the shelf and have it qualify towards the $50. Have your ad in front of you when you choose your products so you don't have that trouble.

    • Faith

In the scenario at the bottom of the page how are you using the $15.00 in up rewards to pay for the 2nd transation? Usually they give me up rewards for the same products i just bought in transation number one.

      • You can use Up rewards on most anything. Maybe you're thinking of Up rewards coupons?

        • Faith

yes i am thinking of the up reward coupons. So are you saying the $15.00 in up rewards they give you back is something different from the coupons. Please explain if so because i am so lost now.

          • Up rewards coupons usually state “$1 off any $10 …… purchase” and the barcode is located near the bottom. Up rewards state “$___ off any non-prescription purchase” , then the barcode, then it states “from the purchase of…. ” These can be used like money to help pay for your following transactions.

            • Faith

Ok so it's almost like the $5.00 off $25.00 coupon so you can use it toward anything and it's not specified to an item. Am I understanding Correctly? thanks for all your help.

            • Yes, as long as it doesn't say “$1 off any _____ purchase.” It has to say “from the purchase of _____”. For instance, I have a “$1 off any back-to-school purchase of $10 or more”. This I can only use if I am buying $10 worth of school stuff. I also have one that says “$1 off any non-prescription purchase from the purchase of Pilot”. This one I can use on anything, without a minimum dollar amount. HTH

      • Aminehdestin

The rewards say “+UP Reward: $* off non-prescription purchase*” Then give the coupon bar code and beneath that state “from the purchase of _____”. That doesn't mean that you can only use it on that item. The only limitations on those coupons are stated in the print (not for use on tobacco/alcohol/lottery or pre-paid items etc) but otherwise can be used on any front end purchase until they expire. The only ones with specified products needed to use it, are the “+UP coupons” rather than rewards, which print on [almost] every receipt. Those are for $* off of $* worth of whatever type of product, hair care, make up, pain medicine have all been recent ones. I hope that helps any confusion.

    • Joy

I keep getting a register coupon for $1/10 purchase for back to school items on every receipt. This should help with the back to school deal. I was even allowed to use it on my Toilet paper deal recently.

      • Amelia

All of my Rite Aid computers have been fixed. When your store updates there, you will no longer be able to do that. FYI…..

    • Carrie

If you spend $25, and you have BOTH $5/$25 coupons, can you use them BOTH on one trip? What about if you spend $30 or more, so that the total is STILL$25 AFTER using the first coupon? I am sorry if this is a silly question, I am new. ALSO, what are the +Ups???

      • pfsinnh

You can only use one 5/25 per transaction.

        • Coupondiva02

Actually, I believe it depends on the store. I was checking out a few weeks ago and had two $5/25 coupns in my envelope. I wasn't planning on using them both – just the one (I keep all my RA coupons in one envelope) but the manager said “you forgot to use your other $5/25” and encouraged me to use it. She said it was fine because my transaction total was still over $25 after using the first one. I would recommend checking with your store.

      • Aminehdestin

No matter how much you're spending, you can only use one total purchase coupon on any transaction. Even if the $3/$15 or $4/$20 come out on Red Plum again (it happens occasionally) they can't be combined with any other $/$ “non prescription purchase” coupons. We have people ask all the time if they spend $50 if they can use 2 but we've been told in no uncertain terms that it's one per transaction. It's not a silly question though, never feel like anything's too silly to ask. This site's really good about helping people who are new to Rite Aid. Also, the +Ups are coupons that print on your receipts when you buy qualifying items. Like, if you were to buy 3 12 packs of cokes this week, you'd pay $9.99 for that transaction, and then you'd get a coupon on the bottom of your receipt for $2 off your next non prescription purchase of qualifying items (over $2). They can be used on any front end items except for tobacco/alcohol/lottery and pre-paid items (gift cards, money orders etc). They last about 2 weeks before expiring, and you can use multiples on one transaction, as long as the total you're paying out of pocket doesn't go below tax.

    • BP

I love your new look! bp

    • amber

Just wanted to add that there is a videovalues RA Q for $1 off any Coca-cola 12pk…I believe it expires on 9/25.

    • Ptbennet

Just wondering if anyone else had a problem getting the $15 coupon to print once you buy $50 in those products on the back sheet of the ad. I spent $57 dollars before coupons and mine did not print.

      • Amelia

If you bought the deodorant, I would check that….That was my initial problem.

        • Ptbennet

Yep I bought 2 deodorants and 2 body washes. I thought they both qualified. So can I go back and buy a few other things to get my reward or do you have to buy the $50 at one time?

          • Aminehdestin

You have to buy it all at once, so you'd have to return the items that qualify from the first receipt, and then re-buy it with the replacement items. +UPs aren't cumulative like the rebates.

          • Amelia

The deodorants I had bought were the ones pictured, but did not qualify for the up promotion…I exchanged them when I realized this.

      • Aminehdestin

I'm not sure, but I would suggest calling CS and giving them your receipt info because it can pull up whether or not you bought the right items, and if the system says no they could probably tell you what qualifies and what doesn't on your receipt so that you can go back and fix the transaction. If it doesn't look like you bought anything that doesn't qualify, they may send you the +UP coupon through the mail [if they're still doing it].

      • Linda

I had a problem and when the clerks could not explain, I returned the entire transaction. I then went to another Rite Aid and spent $59 and did get the $15 coupon. I don't understand it. You can contact the customer service and they will mail you the $15 coupon.

    • Denise

I am trying to register for the video and it keeps kicking me out, is anyone else having this issue?

    • Coupondiva02

Help! When I try to change the zip code on the link to the 95677 and the radius to 50 miles then click submit – it bounces back to the original “Atlanta” area. What am I doing wrong?

    • pfsinnh

On the $15 UP's when you buy $50 on the back page…does anybody know if I can use the “buy one item, get another item free” coupons and still have those “free” products count towards the $50 purchase? I see a few of those coupons for Gillette, and Secret deodorants and body washes and would like to use them.

      • Clipgrl

Yes it has always worked in the past.

        • Britras

I thought so, too, but mine did not print. I talked to the manager and they ultimately wrote one out for me when I threatened to return the whole purchase. Is there something different about their policy these days?

          • Aminehdestin

No, the culprit seems to be in computer error, and product error so far today. Lots of similar items that could be purchased that aren't included in the deal, and the random areas that are having problems printing +UPs completely today.

      • Adivel99

I used 2 B1G1(for toothbrush & Old spice Deo.) Q's today and mine worked great. No problem with the $15 UP printing out.

    • Ptbennet

Ok so I am very new to couponing, so I appreciate all your help…. this is what I bought that did not print the $15 UP… so if someone could tell me what I did wrong, I can't figure it out. I thought I double checked to make sure everything qualified
      (2)crest prohealth toothpaste @4.49; (5) Gain dish soap @ 0.89; (2) Gillette body wash @ 4.00; (2) Gillette deodorant @ 4.00; (1) Crest prohealth mouthwash 1 Liter @ 4.99; (1) Scope mouthwash 1 Liter @ 3.50; (2) oral B advantage plus toothbrushes @ 2.69; (2) Always pads @ 2.99; (1) Tampax @ 2.99

Total before tax and before coupons: 52.27

      Any thoughts??

      • Amyinatlanta

I had the same problem. The store manager did not know how to return everything and give me back my coupons and UPs (from past transactions). He suggested that I call 1800-RITEAID and they can pull up my transaction and mail me my $15 UPs. I was hesitant to do this as I now do not have my coupons. The manager told me that if there was a problem to call him back. I called 1800-RITEAID and they are closed today.

        • Tryintosave

I have had this happen before, and I emailed customer service. They mailed me the +UP's. I did have to email twice to get them to verify they were working on it.

        • Tryintosave

I have had this happen before, and I emailed customer service. They mailed me the +UP's. I did have to email twice to get them to verify they were working on it.

      • D-

Check your receipt and make sure the cashier scanned your wellness card. This happened to me one time when my UP rewards didn't print.

      • Reymannkids

I didn't get the $15 +UP either, but I had a great manager/cashier today. She just gave me $15 off my next transaction. Rite Aid is the best!

        • Apriljum

I didnt get the 15 ups either the cashier told me mayable I use to many coupon. I think I will call custom serivce in the morning.

      • Aminehdestin

I've realized that a lot of times early on Sunday mornings the +UPs seem to be difficult. It may just be a glitch, because I can't find anything wrong with your transaction. I think your easiest route to getting the +UPs is through CS, see if they can pull up the transaction for you and verify it, then mail you the coupon, or if you want it right away, take it all back and re-do the transaction. If it still doesn't print the second time, they'll have to re-return it all and adjust some of the prices down to account for the $15.

      • toni

You listed 2 crest prohealth toothpaste @4.49. I don't see this listed on the page to receive the $15 up. The listing is pretty specific listing “when you buy $50 of products on this page”. Or, the Gillette deodorant had to be the invisible solid or gel 2.6 oz. Is that what you purchased? Check your items purchased and see if they are listed on the back page of the ad as qualifying items.

My before tax was $50.43 and +15 ups printed fine.

        • Smartblonde

I agree with Toni The Crest ProHealth that qualified should have rang up for $2.69…, I think that's where you had the problem.

      • Shaner478

When I did my purchase similar to yours, my +up rewards did not print. I was told it was because you have to spend $50 AFTER coupons. After 30 minutes of trying to return the entire order because I used +up rewards and $5/25, the manager just decided to give me a $15 gift card. I'm lucky she had patience and was in a good mood for a Sunday full of couponers.

        • Aminehdestin

Yeah, the manager was wrong about it being after coupons. I swear, that seems to be go-to reasoning around here too. It's not so. I guarantee, it's just a sale issue. Not all the registers seem to have it in the system yet on Sundays. Second though, it may be best instead of returning the items right away, to try calling CS and seeing if they can pull up the transaction to verify that you bought the right items, because as of right now, there's actually no way to return the +UPs that are used, so I can imagine that managers frustration trying to return it all and figure out the coupons and +UPs. We've been told that the +Ups are nonrefundable so if they're misused, you're out those rewards. CS may be the easiest way to go in situations like this. Just a tip, since I'm sure every store handles it differently as the manager stares at the receipt and register trying to figure out what to input for each return. [and no, I've never stood there with that blank stare….]

I meant for my answer above Ptbennet's to actually be a reply to her entry!!

      • Christine

Wow! That's all I can say.

    • Denalowenberg

Rite Aid booklet? Pantene is supposed to have a $2 off Pantene hair care product, Rite Aid booklet (Rite Aid Coupon) (exp 8/31
The cashier said they only had store coupons in weekly ad and no where else.Where do I get this???

      • Mag219

I also would like to know what Rite Aid booklet??? Thanks you…..

        • Smartblonde

Rite aid booklet was given away at the beginning of the year through an SCR program (if you bought a certain amount of P&G products you got coupons). You won't be able to get that again.

The clip and save booklet is a new one that's out that they are giving to customers who get their flu shots. Some stores are giving them away just for the fun of it so, you'll have to ask your local store.

    • Amy

I had a great find today. On the back endcap, stashed on the back of the shelf, I found a Lexmark color ink cartridge for $11! Even at Walmart, they're always $24, so I was super excited. Plus, with this I was able to get another $25 transaction to use a 2nd $5/25 q. The cashier said that was a great find; he didn't know who had marked it down and hadn't seen any others that price.
Also, the craft paints were only 99 cents, so they'll be free after the rebate. Lots of other great deals too. :)

    • Val

      Dear Walgreens,

      I am soooooo over you.

    • Sam2sharon

For the Olay $20 rebate, it states “$50 worth” does that mean retail value or what I actually pay? So, if I get 2 items for $20 each and 2 items for $5 each = $50 BUT only pay $36 because of the Rite Aid 50% off, do I still get the rebate?? OR do you have to spend $50? Thanks

      • toni

Rebate based on price rung up per item on the cash register. If something rings up 50% off, though, that is the price that will go toward the rebate. For example: If you buy 2 $20 items and one is 50% off, then they are rung up as $20 and $10 so $30 would go towards the rebate, not the original price of $20 and $20.

You don't have to actually spend $50, though. If you have coupons, they come off after items are rung up, so they don't decrease your amount towards the rebate.

    • toni

Has anyone tried the $15 + up rewards twice on their wellness to card and gotten the +up twice? I know it states one per household, but that doesn't always seem to be true at Rite Aid lately. Just curious since I am working towards that Olay rebate and figured I might as well do the +15 up wyb $50 again since I would be buying the Olay anway.

      • Aminehdestin

I've read one comment (I don't remember if it was on here or another site) that said they did 2 and got the rewards each time. I'd wait for real confirmation on that one though unless you don't mind the slightly higher OOP without getting the +UP reward.

      • Amelia

My Rite Aid has already updated their computer only allowing one up deal per card. They told me that eventually all Rite Aids will be doing this as well. I would be cautious.

The up coupons also beep so that the cashier will check the order for the required items or amount.

        • toni

Only one ups on all things? So it will be more like CVS where you can only buy one item and get the rewards? Oh, rats. I knew it was too good to last.

    • Earodman

Hello. . .did you actually pay $4.69 per Crest Prohealth toothpaste? It was listed in our sale ad for $2.69. Using $2,69 each toothpaste, I come up with a total of $48.67 for what you bought today. Perhaps, that was the problem. . .

Double-check your receipt, then run back for 2 more bottles of the Gain dish soap. I think you can earn UP+ rewards from buying products on = 2 different receipts. Maybe someone else has experience with whether or not that will work.

      Good luck!

      • Ptbennet

Yeah sitting here looking at my receipt and I bought two toothpaste: One Crest Pro Health whitening 6.0 oz and one Crest Pro Health 6.0 oz and they rung up 4.49 each.
So I guess that is where I went wrong, I bought the wrong size. That stinks because they said I couldn't add another item to it or I couldn't return without losing my $5 off $25 and my 2 other UP rewards because they were now void since they were already scanned!

        • Aminehdestin

They should've been able to adjust the price since they know you just bought the wrong things. I would call and speak with the store manager, and ask if you can bring the items back for a return (at sale price but not subtracting coupons) and on the same transaction just re-ring it all so that the total would be even except for your toothpaste exchange. It wouldn't be like cashing the coupons, since you're buying the same items that you'd originally used the coupons are. Each return and re-purchase would counteract each other, so the only difference would be in you returning the 2 wrong toothpastes and buying whatever you need to in their place. And since you'd be “buying” it all in that transaction, the +UP should print.

          • Ptbennet

Thanks for all the advise and help but I was dealing with the manager who seemed to have an attitude and didn't want to deal with it as a line was forming behind me. There is another Rite-Aid store in town so maybe I could go there and exchange the stuff and they may be more friendly and helpful.

            • Aminehdestin

Yeah, try the other store, ask if you can do an even exchange for the same items, and then replace the couple items that didn't qualify. There's no reason they shouldn't allow an exchange. It balances out, and the coupons are all going for the right merchandise since you're re-purchasing it all. Good luck.

    • Denalowenberg

So I printed the Rite Aid coupons from watching the videos and they are manuf. Qs not store Qs. This was for the Butt Paste and Garnier Fructis.
1.My computer asked me how many I wanted, How many can we use in the store?
2.Why is the Rite Aid coupon (listed with and S beside it) considered a store coupon if it prints out with Manufacturers Coupon on top? it's not like we can stack this Q and an Manuf. Q.

      • pfsinnh

The Video Values Q's are actually Rite Aid coupons. I know it says “manufacturer” on them, but you have to trust us on this one. :)
Any coupon that begins with a “48” or “49” in the bar code are considered Rite Aid coupons, so you can stack these with manufacturer's coupons.

You can only print each coupon once and use that particular coupon once with your card. Sometimes you will find a coupon on an item one month and find another coupon on the same item the next month. You can stack those 2 coupons in one transaction if you want.

Once you get the hang of Rite Aid, you'll be saving a ton of money. It's so worth learning.

        • Denalowenberg

I asked my store about that and they said it would be like using 2 Manuf. Qs so I couldn't, even though one was a video Q and one was a Q from the sunday paper.
If they are wrong then how can I convince them? Is there some wording in the coupon policy that I can bring them?
          Thanks for your help!

          • Valerie

Google updated Rite Aid coupon policy and you should be able to find it (I think Jenny still has the old one on this site). It states:

            Multiple Coupons

            * More than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:
            * All coupons match the item being purchased.
            * The total of the coupons is equal to or less than the selling price of the item before sales tax.
            * No more than one “48? Rite Aid valuable coupon, one “49? Rite Aid Manufacturer coupon, and one “5?manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.

-The last one obviously applies to you. If they give you any more trouble I'd call customer service right there in the store. It's a shame some stores still don't know the coupon policy.

            • Denalowenberg

Thanks so much to all of you for this info. I feel like I've been completely cheated!! :-) I'm going up there today and plead my cause!

          • Aminehdestin

They are absolutely wrong. I haven't done the VV yet this month, but unless they've changed wildly they normally start with the numbers “49” which show that they are “store/manufacturer” coupons meaning they can be combined with a reg. manufacturers coupon starting w/the number “5” [or the occasional “9”] but the manufacturer *will* reimburse the store for the face value of the coupon as long as it is scanned. Any “48” or “49” coupon can be stacked, just not with another of it's kind. You can't use 2 of the “49” coupons on one item, even if one is a VV coupon and the other is in the ad. And to your original post, even though your computer asked how many you want, notice the words, it asks how many copies you want, which is just your computer allowing you to print more than one. The program just adjusted itself to actually not allow anyone to use one coupon more than once. The reg. will reject any that you try to use after you've used it once.

    • Mharwell01

BEWARE of Rite-Aid registers not giving you credit for your coupons. I went today and had probably 20 coupons. I watched the cashier scan every single coupon I had but when my total came up I knew something was amiss. So I told the cashier it seemed high and that I was going to check over my receipt and make sure everything rang up correctly. Everything rang up at the advertised price, then I noticed the -3$ bufferin coupon wasnt on there, then $1.50 tide coupon and I had 5 other $1 coupons that didnt credit on the receipt. Since they stuff them all in that little slot under the register, the manager had to take me at my word and gave me $9.50 back. He seemed a little irritated but the mistake was on their end, not mine. I know the cashier scanned them all correctly but Ive heard that the register doesnt always keep up and it will omit some if gets behind. FYI

      • Michelle

The cashiers at my Rite Aid are awesome and know that the register is “behind” so they scan each coupon, look at the screen, then scan the next one. The registers are horrible about taking RA q and many times the cashier has to key them in herself. Doing all this does take up more time though but it's a couple extra mins and a lot of savings!

    • Shawna

Great deals today with an awesome cashier!

      4 Gain detergents
      1 Crest Prohealth Rinse 1 L (4.99Used 2.00 q)
      1 Listerine Total Care 500 ml (3.99 on sale, used 1 VV q and 1 manu. q)
      2 Waters (50 cents each)
      10 Wet N Wild Products (ranging in price from 0.99-2.99, used 2 1.00 q's found on items, one $5/10 manu q, 1 VV q $2/6)
Used $2 UP reward from past trip

      Subtotal: 49 CENTS!
      Received 1 UP from Listerine
Submitted receipt info for 2.00 SCR on Crest
      Made $2.51 from this transaction!

    • Lisanole78

I agree with all the people who have had problems with UPs printing on the $15/$50 deal. The cashier and manager both confirmed that I had bought the right $$ amount of qualifying products, and they gave me a Rite Aid gift card for the UPs. Then another store had a problem printing different UPs (the Pantene ones). Both stores acted like this had been happening all day, so I think it must be a “first day of the sale” computer thing. They were all super friendly and gave me the value of the UPs, though, so I am happy! Bought $100 worth of stuff for $25 OOP, not counting the SCRs, Olay rebate, and P&G booklet I qualified for, and the $10 I have left on that gift Card. Great day at Rite Aid, despite the UPs problems.

    • Janaemartin

I went to the Rite Aid in Madison,AL and did scenario one. Well, I did not get the $15 extra care bucks and the ad in our area is different than the full ad. So I called the mgr when I got home and explained the difference in the ad and she said I could bring the stuff back becuase she did not know what I was talking about – different ads. How do I deal with this???

      • Amelia

You have the short ad and probably cannot do the deal. She works from the national ad. I would go get a copy of your ad and work from that.

      • Aminehdestin

I would call CS first. Short ad stores will price match the long ad (for the most part) but the +UPs seem to be a different game. Some stores say that they are required to modify it to the “like paying” price, but since this is on a total purchase, I'm not sure how they'd handle it. If you call customer service though, and give them your receipt information, it's possible that if they verify that you bought the right items, they will send you a +UP coupon through the mail, like the do when they don't print in most stores. I think that's going to be your best option so that you don't have to return merchandise, at least if you wanted the merchandise.

    • shesqueeks

I can't get the $5/25 g using the zip suggested- says web page access denied. any suggestions why this has occurred? I printed it last week.

      • Christine

I don't know about the access denied, but I did get two $5 off $25 and one $4 off $25 on the video values. There are two pharmacy videos that you can watch to get the $5 off $25, and then I got 20 points so I also got the $4 off $25. Ooh, plus I got $3 off Butt Paste that I can stack with my $1 off from today's paper=free! I hope that helps. :-)

    • Danielle

my $15 UP reward did not print either, my Rite Aid told me to call Corporate tomorrow and if I didn't get anywhere with them to come back and see them tomorrow and they would give me a gift card. I wished they had just done it right then and there but they are very good to me and I don't want to ruin the relationship!

A BONUS though, I got my Rite Aid gift card in the mail for purchasing Olay products back in June (I think it was $25 gift card, and an Bonus $5 gift card) and when I went to use them they EACH had $25 loaded on them so I made an extra $20!!! Made my day, even without the $15 UP.

      • Aminehdestin

Stores don't like to give the gift card themselves though, because it's a direct loss for the store. So, I understand why they'd rather you go through corporate. If they ring a gift card and load $15, they then have to modify the sale price to $0 which flags the transaction for LP and they have to explain it. Granted, it's easy enough to explain, but that is literally taking $15 out of that store because the +UPs are man. coupons paid back to the store. Just thought I'd explain why some stores do prefer for you to go through the channels to get it rather than just doing it in store. :-)

Also, for the gift cards you got through the SCR, was it from the skin care rebate? If so, it sounds like you had the exact *opposite* thing happen than a lot of people. I've read comment after comment where people got 2 $5 cards and CS was working on sending out replacement cards. I saw one person say that something like $.27 was on one of their cards. Lucky you that the mistake was in your favor!

Quick question about the Get 15 UPs wyb $50 Select Products (including the Olay moisturizers/cleaners). If I bought:

      (2) Olay Regenerist Moisturizers $19.99 (B1G1 50% off) AND
      (2) Olay Complete Cleaners $5.99

Would that qualify (priced about $52 before coupons and discounts), or does the second moisturizer RING UP as 50% off so that the total would only be about $42??

I am hoping to get the $15 UPs plus $20 mail in rebate for buying $50 of the Olay moisturizer/cleaners!

      • Carolinagirl1988

Do you have to purchase this all is the same trip? I am new to all of this and didn't know? Thanks Kim

        • pfsinnh

Yes, you need to purchase all in one trip. :)

      • pfsinnh

I had the same question and someone answered back to tell me that the second one will in fact ring up half price.

        • kjmiller

          Thanks! Glad I asked. :)

      • Chrissy

I spent 56 on Olay products before coupons yesterday so I could get the 15+up reward and also submit for the rebate but the reward didn't print. The cashier said that it had already happened to two people and they had to call customer service to get a 15 gc sent to them :(

        • susansaver

The same thing happened to me yesterday. The manager even tried re-ringing all the items without using the coupons and it still didn't print. She ended up issuing me a $15 gift card as a substitute which was way better because now I can use it for multiple transactions where my total isn't over $15.

      • Faye

The Olay Regenerist Moisturizers would ring up $19.99 and $9.99.

The Olay Complete would ring up $5.99 and $2.99

The total price would be $38.96 – short of the $50 needed to qualify for the $15 +UP Reward and the $50 Olay rebate.

    • tmmb04

My Rite Aid did not show the Gillette BW and deo. or the Gain dw liquid on the buy 50 get 15 UPrewards. Are all stores not offering the same deals?

      • Amelia

You probably have the short ad will be unable to participate in the deal.

        • kjmiller

I have the SHORT ad and the deal is found on the last page. (Look at the top, mine says in a yellow box: GET $15 in UP Rewards wyb $50 of Products on this Page. I'm just planning on bringing the whole ad in.

    • Lori

I had an awesome day! I was out of town, so the Rite Aid was not my normal store. I had a VV coupon that I did not realize was a day out of date, but the manager was willing to overide the system and take it!

Then, I went to staples and found out they take the Rite Aid VV coupon for Bic pens as a competitor coupon! Wheeeee!

    • pam

I have earned one bonus video coupon – can i watch more and earn another bonus? or is it a one time thing?

      • pfsinnh

It's a one time thing, but make sure you get the other $off$$ coupons. There should be two $5/$20 coupons in the mix that you should watch and then print off. (You probably already did it, I'm sure)

If you need another set of Video Values coupons, you can register under another email address and start over. I print one set out using my email and I have another set that I do under my hubby's email address.

        • pfsinnh

Sorry…it should be $5/$25 coupons instead of $5/$20. Typo. :)

        • Barb75Dean

I am having trouble printing my $5/$24 video coupon. I have plenty of credits, but it won't give me the option to print it when I'm finished. Any ideas, suggestions, instructions from you experienced folks out there?

          • pfsinnh

Hmmm…you have me stumped on this one. You have 20 credits, right? You watched both of the $5/$25 videos, right?

If you've done both, you should be able to click on “my rewards” and see a list of everything you've viewed. Check off the box on the left hand side of your item and hit “print”, and still nothing?

          • Amelia

Make sure your e-mail address is confirmed.

            • Barb75Dean

Yep, still nothing. Thanks for all of your ideas…I think I'll call customer service. They actually had to help me create my account as their system did not seem to want me! I've been printing and using the video coupons…just can't get the one for watching the videos. I'll keep at it.

          • Middle School Teacher

I had issues printing mine as well, but where you go to see your list of coupons there is a link for when you're having trouble printing. I e-mailed and got a really fast response. For me it was that my flash player was out of date, but it might be something else for you. They were very helpful.

    • Nancybgood14

is the P&G coupon promotion starting after Sept 1? Or is the transaction Idea correct on the needed products at the right time. Just asking. I thought i read in last couple of blogs that is was starting on Sept 1 and all receipt had to reflect as such.

      • Anonymous

If you print the rebate form, you will notice the dates are now Aug 20 through Dec 31 2010. Here’s the link to Jenny’s post that includes the form:
        Hope that helps…

      • kjmiller

The rebate form can actually be found on the first inside page of the PG insert. States good on purchases between Aug 20, 2010 and Dec 31, 2010.

      • kjmiller

Btw, I think I know why the other blogs are saying it starts on Sept 1.

As I mentioned, the rebate form found in the Sunday newspaper insert says it starts Aug 20. But now I'm looking at the printable form I got from the web, and it says Sept. 1. (Weird). I guess if you want to use receipts prior to beginning of Sept, I'd be sure to use the rebate form from the paper!

    • Stabarr

Does anyone know on the “UP Deals” do you earn the points on multiple items or do you only earn it on the first item you buy. Example the Mens Nivea body wash earns you $1 +up. If I buy 4 will I earn 4 +up dollars or just the $1 on the first one????

      • Val

There's supposed to be a limit of one per wellness card, but it seems like every week there are items that print multiple Ups while others that print only one. To get an idea of what is printing I often read the comments here. I can tell you that the Nivea Bodywash will only print 1 Up no matter how many you buy. :)

        • Stabarr

Perfect….Thanks for the feedback, that's really helpful! :O)

        • Jtorr14

I purchased 2 Covergirl producuts in one transaction yesterday and the receipt printed 2 $1 each UPs. Does anybody know if the Oral-B pulsar toothbrushes or the Oral-B 3D tb's are printing multiple UPs? I kind of skimmed the comments and didn't see any comment on this but could have missed it.

          • toni

Oral B pulsar isn't an ups, it's an SCR, so only one per household. Oral B 3D is an SCR also, not an ups,

            • Jtorr14

Yep, you are right. I got it mixed up with the Oral B power toothbrush. Well, do you or anybody else know if the Pantene Beautiful Lengths products are ringing up multiple UP's or just 1 $2 as stated above?

            • Valerie

Pantene Beautiful lengths has been multiple

        • Matt

Out of curiousity…do you know if it prints only 1 per transaction or just 1 altogether? It's been my experience that the items that are “limited” are only per transaction. So you could do 2 different tx and get the UPs on the nivea. I have only tried this on Huggies diapers so not sure if it's across the board.

          • toni

The Nivea is 1 per transaction. I had the $4/2 coupon so I bought two together and only 1 ups reward, but they were still free with just one ups reward. I bought another bottle the next day and another ups printed on that transaction.

        • Kalli_jean

I can tell you that the Pantene Restoratives printed twice for me and so did the Kellogg's, but not the Nivea body wash.

      • Amelia

I was told by my store it depends if they updated the software on the register. All RA by the end of the year will only print one up reward per card. A few of my RA already have this in place. I personally like this because it allows everyone to get in on the deals instead of one or two people cleaning them out.

There are a few RA in my area that aren't really keyed for anything and all the coupons will scan…..

    • Crunchy Deal

      I don’t see this deal posted yet . . .

Moneymaker on Garnier Herbashine, Pantene & Butt Paste: Buy 3 Garnier Herbashine Hair products $5.99
      Buy 1 Boudreaux’s Butt Paste $3.99

Buy 1 Pantene Restore Beautiful Lengths $4

      Use: 5 off 25
Use (3) $3 off 1 Garnier HerbaShine (from coupons.com) (or use a $2 off one from Red Plum.com)
Use $2 off Garnier hair color Video Values coupon
      Use $3 off Butt Paste Video Values coupon . . . .

Total is $2.96 OOP, & get back $5 up rewards for Garnier & $2 for the Pantene!

      • Aminehdestin

There was also a $2 man. coupon for the Butt Paste, so even if your store follows policy and adjusts that coupon down to $.99 (the rest of the sale price of the item) it would take you below $2 OOP.

    • Gingiraffe

Help! I'm posting this here in hopes that it will be seen since last weeks deals are over. I tried to do the Kimberly Clark deal last week, but my RiteAid only had 2 packs of Cottonelle left, so I bought lots of Kleenex to help it add up. They were B1G1, so asked a manager if they price of 2 boxes or just one would help towards the rebate. He said both would count. Well, they didn't! And now it's too late to buy anymore for the month. Does anyone know if I can go to the store and request for the rebate that way? Do I have any recourse? I'm pretty mad that I asked and still didn't get the deal. Obvioulsy that manager didn't know what he was talking about. I also missed the BoxTops deal because I didn't realize that I had to buy the bundle pack of Kleenex to qualify. So I missed out on both $5 rebates!! Bummer!!!! :( Makes my trip not free after all.

      • pfsinnh

I would make a phone call to 1-800-RITE-AID and speak to a customer service representative. Tell him what happened. Have your receipt ready to give him all the information. Once you do that corporate should make it right. They are usually VERY good at keeping their customers happy, and your case should be no exception. The receipt will show that you did in fact purchase everything that was required in the SCR.

Let us know what happens! :)

      • Michelle

I would start by e-mailing thru the rebates site. They are fairly quick to respond and I'd wait to request the rebate check until after you have the issue resolved. I noticed this too for Rite-Aid—any items noted as B1G1 don't actually ring up on the receipt (it just says free item) so you don't get credit for the 2nd item for rebates or UPs. This happened to me week before last on the Arm & Hammer sonic toothbrushes…the refills just rang up as free (they were free with the tb purchase) so I was .02 cents short of the $30 requirement for a $5 UP. The manager, who was ringing me up, looked at the ad and my receipt and gave me the $5 UPs and without hassle! My RITE AID is AWESOME!

      • toni

Actually, the manager was kind of right in a way. The prices of both boxes did go towards the rebate, it's just that the second box was $0. For future reference, at drugstores, when there is a BOGO offer, the second item always rings up at $0.

I'm afraid this might have been a live and learn lesson. I would be surprised if RA did give you credit for the rebate since you didn't make all of the required purchases. Worst case scenario, is just return the items and then you aren't out any money.

        • pfsinnh

You are correct Toni. But she should still call customer service. She went in to purchase the SCR deal and they didn't have enough product. So she ended up buying a lot of Kleenex to make the deal work. The manager told her it would count towards the SCR even though it was BOGO stuff. The manager should know that the free boxes from the BOGO wouldn't work.

They may not be able to give her the two $5 SCR's that she missed out on, but they'll probably mail her two “Get $5 Off Your Next Purchase” coupons for her troubles.

          • Aminehdestin

I agree. OR try calling and speaking with that manager again. Tell him that it did not count the way he said it would, and ask if he'd be willing to sell you the extra product needed to fulfill the $25 (or 2 more Cottonelle 12 packs to fulfill both) and do it as a rain check. I think that will depend on the store, but at least if he's willing to do it since it was his fault, you could then use the receipt with “rain check” on it and the SCR program will take it. We were told that those have to be mailed in, but from what I've read on here, you can actually call the rebate office and give that receipt info and they can pull up that it was a rain check at the price during the rebate period and will update your account accordingly.

      • Gingiraffe

I sent am email to customer service through the SCR website. I explained what I was trying to do, that I asked the manager and that I’m a very loyal Rite Aid customer and that if there was anything they could do that I would greatly appreciate it. I got an email response back saying they were giving me a one time courtesy check for the rebate deal!! It NEVER hurts to ask! I think my respectful email was the key. I didn’t demand anything and I didn’t try to blame the manager. Just expressed that I was upset that I didn’t get to participate in the deal I was trying to get. Awesome job RiteAid! You have earned even more business from me!

    • Monica452

I'm wondering if I'm just not reading the Dial Body Wash deal right. To get the $2 UP reward you have to buy 2 body washes. 2 X $3.50 is $7.00. Minus the $2 UP and minus 2 of the $1 off Q's is a total of $3.00. So they are really $1.50 each, not 50 cents??

      • 3monkeysmom

They would be 50 cents if you have 2 of the Rite Aid coupons to stack with the $1 manufacturers coupon. If you don't have the Rite Aid coupons, then they would be $1.50 ;-)

    • K Hanks07

I just had a fun trip to RA! Mine printed $2 UP for one Pampers dipes and $2 UP for Easy Ups :) I got:
      Pampers diapers
      Pampers Easy Ups
      Pampers Wipes
      Butt Paste
      Nivea Men Body Wash
      Nivea Lip
      Spent $11.52 OOP
Got $3 UP for next time
      $1.99 SCR
Rite Aid is challenging my CVS loyalty today…

    • susansaver

I went to Rite Aid today and bought the Oxiclean Max Force. It rang up $2.14 (half off the regular price) instead of the $3.49 sale price. I used the $0.75 printable and it generated a $1 UP reward making it $0.39.

    • Saeweardsmith

So, if I had a SCR that I got on friday (after I thought I was done for the month)..can I enter it today and wait for it to clear, than request my check? Do all SCR's purchased in one month have to be filed in that month? Sorry…this is all a first for me!

      • toni

Yes, enter your receipt and wait for it to clear. I think you have til the end of September (or something like that) to enter receipts for August deals. When you go to your SCR account, for the August rebates it will say in the heading “please enter your receipts by ____” (can't remember the date exactly, but it is awhile.

    • susansaver

      Get back:
      $2 SCR Crest Rinse
      $1 SCR Crest Toothpaste
      $15 UP Reward

      OOP: -$13.16 MONEYMAKER + tax!!!

      • Aminehdestin

Heads up to anyone wanting to copy this transaction, most cashiers will probably not take the BOGO Olay coupon at $6.99, because it's normally supposed to be equal or lesser value. It depends on the coupon though, and I haven't seen it. What I would commonly do, is take one at the $6.99 (since you are buying 2 at full price) and one at the 50% price. Just wanted to put a warning on this transaction, so that you aren't confused if your transaction doesn't turn out like this.

    • Jodielynn23

Has anyone gotten multiple UP+ rewards on the Pampers diapers like they did last week on the Huggies?

      • guest

I read on iheartriteaid that one person did.

        • Jodielynn23

      • Kristen_DH

I did! I purchased 2 Pampers Diapers in 1 transaction and they both printed!

    • mabell4tn

I get the short add in my area too. Is there any way to get our local Rite Aid to run all the specials? I really wanted to get my Olay products.

      • meme

If you can buy a paper from a larger town and it has the “national ad”, usually 16 pages, you can take the ad with you to the store. I also try to mark on my shopping list the page the ad is on so I find it quickly to expedite checkout. Also, print out the page the ad is on and you can take that to the store. They will match the price and my store will take off the UP reward on the next purchase by adjusting the price by that amount. They can't print out an UP reward if the ad was not in their locale.

Please don't contact corporate or fill out a survey with the suggestion for the full ad. I did this and my manager and two managers higher than him got calls from corporate. The stores received “zero” on their ratings. I felt so bad. I did not intend to be critical, just asking or giving a suggestion, but it backfired on my favorite store.

I hope this helps your situation.

        • Aminehdestin

That's the thing with those surveys and the online form, the surveys are linked to the store, and online it asks for the store #. It is ALWAYS filed as a complaint against the store, which it normally isn't. Anything less than giving 5's on that survey takes the CS score down. It's crazy.

    • paula wells

While reading some of these posts I realized I forgot to enter my cottonelle rebate and I already requested my check. Any chance I can call and they'll add it for me.

      • toni

You can try, but I don't think so.

      • Jenni

Never hurts to ask. Even if they say “no”, you'll be no worse off.

    • CouponerToo

What exactly does it mean when a coupon says “Not subject to doubling”, “Not to be doubled”, “this promotion can not be combined with other promotions”, and “not good with any other special offer”? Sometimes they even mention tripling! I didn't think you could triple anything. Does this mean these manuf. q's can't be used with store q's??

Also, “limit one coupon per purchase”… that just means on manuf. q, but I can still ad a store q, right? And I can purchase more than one of that product in one transaction, right?

Sorry for the lengthy questions, but I'm still new at this and have made some bad deals so far. Thanks so much!

      • Aminehdestin

The “not to be doubled” is just so that you know (as a consumer) that even if your store doubles coupons, that one is coded to not double.

Not sure on the “not to be combined” because I'd always assumed that meant no stacking, but all stores (or at least most) allow reg. manufacturers coupons to be stacked with store/manufacturer coupons.

“Limit one per purchase” means you can't use 4 of those coupons on that one single item. It's one coupon per qualifying item (AKA purchase). That's literally on the coupon so that you know that you can't use multiple man. coupons to buy one item. Believe me, I've had people swear that you can. ;-P

    • makayla

Can i buy 2 products that have up rewards and get the rewards for both? I would love to get more than one of the pantene restoratives but not sure if I can buy 2, use 2 coupons and still get $2 up rewards for each? Sorry new to rite aid just don't want end up paying more for something that I would have not bought otherwise

      • Amelia

Up rewards are keyed usually as once per card. If the stores have not updated their registers yet, you can split them into separate transactions; however, more and more stores have been updating…..

    • Harris48lynn

Be careful when buying the Coke products, my UP rewards didn't print because one of my products was Mello Yello, the register doesn't recognize it as a Coke product. Had to go back to the store and the manager had to do a return and redo them all as regular Coke to get my rewards to print.

    • Saveqs

Where do I find the Accu check rebate?

      • Harris48lynn

I just looked at the ad and it says it's in pack, so I guess it's packaged inside and then you mail it in.

    • Carol1hughes

Can someone please tell me how I can get the $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet and the Rite Aid booklet?

      • pfsinnh

It is a booklet given to customers for having a flu shot.

      • Islandboybpb

Yeah call 1-800-RiteAid to find your nearest flu shot store and they will have those coupon books.

    • DonnaTN

I had to call Wellness dept about some UPS not printing and she was so very very helpful!! Awesome customer service. And this was my first time trying to tackle Rite Aid after doing CVS for awhile!

    • Pampartain

still trying – what is a W coupon?

      • Val

Video Values. Coupons you receive after watching a video on Rite Aid's website

    • Aimaleigh

i was wondering how many times the up reward will print with buying the pantene. My manager let me buy 8 and I got a Up reward after each product bought(i did seperate transaction) however, she said she wasn't sure when the up would stop printing. Is there a limit to how many ups will print per product? Thanks

      • Aminehdestin

The ad states “one per household” but that seems to not be the case. I wouldn't count on it, but I've heard a few rumblings about corporate taking off the +UP limits…

    • Ashley lack

I'm new to coupons and today I decided to try rite aid. I thought that you could “stack” coupons there. The clerk would not let me use my three dollar store coupon and my dollar manufactures coupon on the Bordeaux's butt paste. Who was right? He insisted upon not taking the 1 coupon saying it would cause them to lose money. So now I'm just completely confused!

      • They can do a manual override on the coupon to make the product and coupons match exactly. That is what min Ride Aid did with the Gain soap this week.

      • Val

Your cashier is the one that is confused. You most definitely can stack coupons at Rite Aid– just take a look at their weekly circular. It shows scenarios of stacking. Find the Rite Aid coupon policy and go back, this guy needs a lesson or two. :)

      • I did this yesterday. In fact I was PAID to buy the butt paste. The box I grabbed had a $1 off peel off on it. I used the $3 coupon from videos, the $1 on the box and had the $1 off from the Sunday's paper. The Sunday paper one wouldn't register and I told there girl it was ok but she insisted and manually keyed it in. So I got $5 off a $3.99 item. Even at regular price, $3.99 is a great savings on this 4 oz. tube as it is regularly 9.99. Awesome price. I've never bought that big of a tube due to the price. Even if you can't use these, give to a new mom or a daycare. I love this stuff as it clears up the skin fast. I've even put it on scratches or redness and it heals.

        • Aminehdestin

The reason the register wouldn't take it is b/c your cashier accepted 2 manufacturer coupons for one item. Oops. Just having 1 man. coupon it should've been adjusted down to $.99 to just give the item for free. This is what drives me crazy, and I'm sure most of you too, one store refuses to accept the $1 man. coupon with the VV because it goes below the sale price, one adjusts the man. coupon to give the item to you for tax only, one accepts both coupons with no hassle, and one even takes the liberty to give you *more*. I was confused when I started reading these sites and saw YMMV so often, but I'm starting to understand… :)

          • I went back today and bought another tube of butt paste. It had hte $1 off coupon on it so I used a $3 video reward, a $1 off from the newspaper ad and the $1 off that was on the box. Another cashier rang me up and did the coupons in a different order and it accepted them all without a problem. So again, got a tube of butt paste (LOL) for -$1.01 overage. Bought a Pampers, Beaudroux's, and Tampax. Used $3 video off, $1 off butt paste on box, $1 off from a Tide Up I think and a $2 up from Pampers. Total $10.09. Saved $10. My kid is stocked in Pampers and will have the cleanest hiney! LOL

            • Aminehdestin

That seems to be common practice this week, so I'm sure a lot of DMs will be calling stores and reiterating policy on Monday. It's not your fault, that's absolutely on the store to catch. Babies are making out like thieves at Rite Aid these past couple of weeks, aren't they? No one can really complain there, considering how expensive they are. :)

      • Islandboybpb

Yes you can definitely stack coupons but you cannot go below the purchase price of the item using your coupons….therefore you should not have been allowed to use all those coupons while gaining money. They are suppose to modify the coupons to make your item free not giving you money back on the item. They just went through a big coupon policy change and all associates are aware of the new policy. People are gonna start getting fired for coupon abuse.

        • Sandy

The butt paste was $3.99 and her total coupon value was $4.00. I suppose the sales clerk should have adjusted the coupon to “2.99”, but I hardly doubt anyone will get fired over a penny.

          • Aminehdestin

You're right, it should have just been adjusted the man. coupon down to $.99 making the item free. Does it lose the store money? Possibly. I've heard conflicting reports now on whether or not we get paid for coupons that aren't scanned through the register, but even still, policy mandates that we adjust coupons to the sale price if they exceed the sales price “by a small amount”. A penny may not seem like much, but if all cashiers did it for all coupons that come in a penny over and then we get fined for corporate coupon fraud… they'll go on a firing craze, I can guarantee that. “Accepting a coupon for more than the sale price of an item” is basically the company defrauding that manufacturer. So the cashiers should be diligent in adjusting coupons, but shouldn't take the liberty of refusing valid coupons completely.

    • mabell4tn

I bought all of the items in scenario 1, but I did not get my $15 UP. The shift manager tried everything. He called Corporate and everthing, but nothing worked. He said that they were not allowing it because I used the CVS $5.00 off/$25.00 purchase. I was standing there while he was on the phone so I heard everything they were saying. Did anyone else run into this problem? I called the 800 number when I got home and talked to customer service. They said they would check into it and call me back, but they haven't so far.

      • pfsinnh

I would watch the videos and get a Rite Aid $5/$25, and then I would take everything back to the store and return it and re-purchase using the correct coupon. That's weird that corporate said they would call you back. Usually they will put you on hold to make sure they get you the right answers.

      • Islandboybpb

If it's true that you used the CVS coupon it will not work..Rite Aid is not suppose to accept competitor coupons to begin with. Should have used a Rite Aid $5 off coupon. Just take it back and have them redo it. Also, look and see if they have the 12 pg AD or The 16 pg AD. If it's the small AD they may not have that advertised therefore the +up Reward will not print. They should just honor it for you until they get the system fixed for the smaller AD stores.

      • Aminehdestin

I know that you meant you used the RA coupon, and that won't cause the rewards not to print. Do you have the long ad, because +UPs won't print even if the sale prices are matched if you have the short ad [yet]. If that's not it, check your receipt. Sizing issues seem to be a major aspect as to why a lot of people aren't getting the +Up. Someone on Sunday realized that the toothpaste she bought wasn't the right size. I would check the deodorants because some of them aren't the right size for the sale, but if they rang up $4 they shouldn't be the issue. Otherwise, check your Olay. Make sure you bought (specifically) the 2 Regenerist products and the “Complete” Cleanser. It's possible that you grabbed a “Total effects” or one of the other lines.

      • toni

I used a $5/$25 coupon and got my 15 ups.

    • mabell4tn

Whoops, sorry, I meant to say that I used the $5.00 off/$25.00 purchase RITE AID Coupon. They said that I couldn't get the $15.00 UP because I was already using a Rite Aid promotion and that I couldn't use a promotion to get a promotion.

      • Sandy

Well that is one I haven't heard before!!! Being that I always use $/$$ coupons with every purchase I make at Rite Aid and always get my Up Rewards that is NOT the problem. If you look at the scenarios people have posted you will see plenty of people used a 5/25 and still got the 15 ups. My guess is that one of the products you purchased wasn't a correct item. Maybe post your scenario, and coupons used and maybe the minds here could figure it out for you.

        • mabell4tn

I got the following (following the scenario to the letter)….
          (2) Gain Dish Liquid 10.3-11 oz., 89¢
          (1) Crest Rinse 1 L $4.99
          (1) Gillette Body Wash $4
          (1) Gillette Deodorant $4
          (2) Olay Regenerist Moisturizers $19.99 (at my store it was 21.99) (B1G1 50% off)
          (1) Olay Complete Cleaners $5.99 (at my store it was 7.99)
-$5 off $25 printable store coupon
          (2) -$1 off Gain Dish Soap, PG 8/29
          -$2 off Crest Mouthwash, 946 mL +, PG 8/01 (exp 8/31)
Free Gillette Body Wash WYB Deodorant, PG 8/29
-$2 off Gillette Deodorant or Bodywash, PG 8/01 (exp 08/31)
-$5 off Olay Regenerist moisturizer or cleanser, P&G $100 Coupon Booklet
(2)-$1 off Olay Facial Moisturizer or Cleanser, RP 8/15

The manager (who checked me out) even went over every bit of it with me and made sure that I purchased everything correctly.

          • Aminehdestin

The Olay products absolutely vary in price from store to store. Some carry different products, which explains the $2 difference in your store. Since they rang on sale though, they are part of the sale. My best guess was the Olay Complete because there are other cleansers right there with that line, that aren't “Complete”. Did you check that bottle to make sure it is? If it is, the only thing you can do is wait on CS to get back to you. Or even call back in a day, and give your receipt info and they should be able to send you a coupon through the mail.

          • coupon101

question if you buy (2) of the Oly Regenerist, why did you not use (2) $5 instead of using the (2) $1 ?

            • toni

Probably because she only had one. I only had one left for this deal also since I had used mine earlier in the year.

      • jenr

My $15 up didn't print also. This was after spending $63 worth of stuff on the page, b/c the cashier kept saying I was using too many coupons so I should add another item. Finally I left w/babies screaming, no rewards, and me about to lose it. I called the 800 number and they said they will mail me the ups no problem and that they had been getting calls all day about the same thing. He said it had nothing to do with coupons, just a glitch in the system, so I returned the additional items I had spent over the $50.

        • Aminehdestin

I had a feeling it was a glitch. I'm glad you'll get the +Up coupon mailed to you, and it is just silly that you had to add so much extra merchandise. Coupons do NOTHING to hinder your rebates or +Ups. Did ya'll do returns and re-ring it all with the extra items or something? Because you don't know that you don't get the reward until you get your receipt. That seems like an AWFUL lot of work you (and the cashier/manager for that matter) went though. I always suggest on +Ups like this, buying the qualifying items and if it doesn't print, call CS and they can fix it much easier than we can in store.

    • RaRa

I have never done RITE AID…..it seems so confusing…HELP!! I don't get what the “Up Rewards” are , etc.

I was planning on using several $1 off for the Gain dish liquid & saw that it was $0.89. Does that mean I make money on those which I can use towards something else?? I know they would not give me the money.

      • Sandy

Check out Jenny's Learn to Coupon link. You can go to the Rite Aid section and learn all about it :)

      • Amyd

        I did. :)

      • Christine

Don't give up, RaRa. Rite Aid has quickly become my favorite–over CVS and Walgreens. They have the most $5 off $25 and similar deals. Also, the video values help a lot. For instance, the Butt Paste costs $3.99, but I had a $3 off video value coupon and it had a peelie for $1 off so I got it free. :-) I was hesitant about the SCR rebates, but it's actually pretty easy. I usually avoid rebates, but I've decided that my proceeds from the rebates can fund my future deals. Take Sandy's advice and learn about it from the website. You'll be glad you did.

      • Aminehdestin

You're not supposed to get overage. The coupons are supposed to be modified down to the sale price. Some stores don't do it, but it *is* in the coupon policy. No matter what, Rite Aid is not supposed to give overage even if you're buying more merchandise. Because it's like us “billing” Gain's manufacturer for the Hershey's bars you're buying. It's considered “Corporate coupon fraud” and they can audit the stores and fine us for it.

The +Ups though, are coupons that print out on your receipt when you buy qualifying items. Like this week, the last page of the ad, if you buy $50 worth of those items, you get a $15 +Up on that receipt towards a future purchase. They expire in about 2 weeks. Most of the +Ups though, are one item things. Like the Pampers, you buy a Jumbo Pack of Pampers diapers this week and on the receipt you receive a $2 +UP.

    • Mlg Cmg

Actually you can get this free- Gillette BW and Gillette Deo-
Use the BOG Body Wash Free
      and $4 off the Deo

they are 2 for 8 so both are free- I bought 4 of each last night

Secret, Old Spice or Gillette Deodorant 2.6-2.7 oz., or Gillette Body Wash $4
B1G1 Old Spice Fresh Collection Invisible Solid, P&G $100 Coupon Booklet
-$1/2 Old Spice product, PG 8/29 or P&G $100 Coupon Booklet
Free Gillette Body Wash WYB Deodorant, PG 8/29
-$2 off Gillette Deodorant or Bodywash, PG 8/01 (exp 08/31) (makes it $2)

      • Lacey

Where did you get the $4.00 deodorant coupon?

      • couponlover

yeah, where did the $4 coupon come from???

      • Leigh

I bought these last night and and forgot that I would of been able to use 2 coupons when I use a B1G1 coupon. Now, I know for future reference. :)

    • Coupons777

Anyone know another zip for the $5/25 Q? I can't get the 95677 to work.

    • Shereedee

How do you get the P&G $100 coupon book. I went in and asked for it and they said I had to get the flu shot!!

      • Aminehdestin

The P&G book is a rebate. There was one at the beginning of the year, and another one that the rebate is just starting. It's on here somewhere, I'm sure you can search for the site that you need. You can't get it at RA though. What we have in store is a “Clip and Save Book” which yes, it's supposed to be handed out when you get the flu shot. A lot of stores got it early though, and didn't know what it was so they put them out or used them as bag stuffers and they're out.

    • Amyd

Wanted to ask a quick question. How long does it usually take to get your SCR back? Thanks

      • Amyd

Oh and can you use a man. coupon on an item and still get the up reward? Thanks again.

        • pfsinnh

Yes, you can stack Rite Aid coupons, manufacturer's coupons, and UP's to purchase an item and still get an UP reward.

      • pfsinnh

Once I pull the trigger to get my SCR's, it usually takes a couple of weeks. Your online account will tell you when the check was mailed, and it's usually several days after that date.

    • twk62

Does anyone know if any rite aid, walgreens, etc…in atlanta area currently offer gift cards for prescription transfer? Thanks!

      • toni

There are 2 coupons in this week's Rite Aid circular for a $25 gift card with prescription transfer.

      • Islandboybpb

Even without the AD, Rite Aid always has prescription transfer coupons in the pharmacy. Just speak to the pharmacist and they will be glad to transfer them for you.

        • Ashley

Speaking of, is their limit on how many you can transfer in a certain time period?

          • Aminehdestin

I think it's a limit of 2 prescriptions never filled at Rite Aid, and no controlled substances. There wasn't a limit when it started (or there was, but stores ignored it completely) but the computer will actually only allow 2 now.

    • Faye

Has anyone tried doing two separate transactions to see if the $15 UP Rewards are truly a limit of one per household? I know the ad says limit one but many of their ads say the same thing yet the deals ring up.

      • Valerie

Read on another blog– it's one.

      • Cindyrella

Yes, I tried it. Didn't work. :( But it was still great deals and I think after all my rebates it's all gonna be free.

    • mbcalder

hi i am a newbie to Rite Aid. i want to do the Bordeaux deal and haven't printed off the $3 coupon yet.. but is it a limit of 1 print or can i print multiple times and do this deal more than once? thank you!

      • Dharvn

      • Jenni

You can print the coupon more than once, but the computer will only allow you to use one. After that, it will tell the cashier something along the lines of coupon already used. They are tracking these now.

    • Nancybgood14

Ok! today was ok at one store. But at another store i could not use the dial body wash, nivea wash because it was not the exact item in the picture on the Q. Said it would not scan did not even try. I said ok. I am going to try tomorrow. They did not even have the kind in the pics. And i let them now that the craft tags was wrong. The Pampers did let me get 2ups twice. I ask about the book in wilmington store so far they have no Idea what i am talking about. That was the store in northchase and one on Market st. FYI.

      • Ashley

There were 2 different nivea $4/2 q's. One was for body wash and the other specified different men's items like face lotion, etc but no body wash. You are probably trying to use the wrong one, which is the “men's lotion, etc” q. The right one for body washes I am not sure is still available or not.

      • Pgibb76

the store on the corner of Market and Kerr is awful. The mgr is rude and so are most of the cashiers. I love the one in Leland. Super nice.

    • Nancybgood14

I have a question with the rebates. If you can not find the items for a total amount needed to get the rebate in one transaction. Can you split them up as you would do with CVS. Thanks for the Help.

      • Aminehdestin

For rebates, normally they are cumulative. +Ups are not though. So if you're wanting the $15 +Up for spending $50 worth of the items on the back page, they all have to be purchased on the same receipt.

        • Nancybgood14

          Thanks for the help

    • Pianogretch

So, what's up with RiteAid changing their coupon for earning video value rewards to $4 off a $20 purchase instead of $5??? I guess they are seeing all of us coupon ladies catching on?!?!? lol

      • Aminehdestin

It makes it the same % as the $5/$25. For a while there were printables on one of the coupon sites for $3/$15 and $4/$20 as well as the $5/$25. I guess they decided to try that route and see how it works. It makes sense to me at least, because of the % but I think the $4 off should be the ones you earn w/one video and give $5/$20 again for the bonus video because you watch so many videos, you should get that extra $1 without the total price going up. Just my opinion, which holds 0 weight but I thought I'd put it out anyway. :)

    • AmberKG

I am confused on some of the coupon recommendations. Some of the P&G coupons have expired. Can they still be used?

      • Sandy

No, Rite Aid does not accept expired coupons

    • Leigh

      • Leigh

I forgot to mention that I also get SCRs but I can't remember which ones at the moment. :) And I also get to use some of this toward the $50 for the P&G booklet. Yay!

      • Aminehdestin

Not bad for your first trip! I do want to give you the heads up on the Butt Paste coupons, it seems that a lot of stores are allowing the 3 to be stacked, but it is against policy, so don't get used to it! Stores will likely be reprimanded and stop doing it after this week. I saw someone else, wasn't going to use one of the man. coupons because they knew the policy, but the cashier insisted. That and the fact that you got $1.01 overage which we aren't supposed to allow. I'm not criticizing you, I promise, just wanted to make sure you know for future reference if your cashier modifies coupons down so that nothing goes below the sale's price. :-) Since you're new, you don't know just how extreme the differences can be from store to store and even employee to employee. Congrats on biting the bullet and trying Rite Aid out. It's a lot to learn and go through, but it does save you a *lot* of money in the end.

        • Leigh

I knew that about the coupon. I studied the coupon policy ALOT before going since it's a small town and small store, just in case there was an issue. She was actually a shift manager and I wasn't going to use the coupon and she said no I'll make it work. So, I didn't argue. But, I do plan to call her today to see if she is in because I asked for a rain check on the Gain Dish Det. and my rebate slip she gave me says $1.49 each instead of 89 cents each.

          • Aminehdestin

Yeah, I knew that was the store allowing it, because the register will kick the second man. coupon out, so she'd have to enter it herself. You'll have to get another rain check though for the gain! They need to scan your wellness card before doing the rain check or else the rain check prints at reg. price since it's a sale w/Wellness card only. It took us a bit to figure that out. lol. Or she may just ask you to bring it in and she'll write on there the true sale's price and initial it, which is what we were doing until we figured out how to make it print right. So, you can teach her if she doesn't know how to do it!

            • Leigh

I called and talked to someone. The lady from last night wasn't there. But, the lady I talked to today said that it wasn't a problem, they knew by the date that 89 cent was the sale price. And I asked if she was sure it was fine and she said yes. I said well I'll bring the ad in with me just in case. She said that was fine too, so the dates could be match, but I'll most likely try back for the girl from last night. I do have a question. I know +UPs are supposed to be limit one but it doesn't always happen that way. Do you know if the Nivea for Men BW is printing more than once?

            • Aminehdestin

I'm still on leave this week (Promise, this is the last week, then I'll be able to answer questions w/out going by “what I've heard”) but most of the blogs I read, people are reporting only getting one even in separate transactions. I think I've only seen one person who said she got it once in two different transactions (she'd bought 2 in each transaction and one printed for each). So I'd go through comments on here and maybe Iheartriteaid and see if anyone's saying different. That's been on sale a few times since the +Ups started and when it prints multiples, every store got wiped out in a matter of 2 or 3 days. My store actually had plenty either the last sale or the one before that and we were cleared out by early Tuesday afternoon, AND we limited to 2 per customer [per day]. So corporate may have caught on since there are so many coupons which make the Nivea deals MM.

            • Jenni

I bought one in one transaction, it printed fine, then tried to buy one more in a second transaction the next day (to test this very thing) and it didn't print.

            • Aminehdestin

Taking the ad is a great idea! Before I knew how to make the RC print with the sale's price, I would print out what I could, initial it with the “right price” written on it and staple the ad square to the RC.

    • pfsinnh

A reminder to everyone who purchased a Stopain roll-on or spray last week…you can now go to their website and print off the rebate form and submit for your $2.00 rebate.

      • Aminehdestin

This was discussed last week. It's possible that they will not allow the $2 rebate because it does specifically state that it can't be combined with retailer's rebates. Most say “not to be combined with any other offers” but don't really have safeguards for it, but I read somewhere that line, which makes me believe that they may actually refuse to allow rebates for the item purchased from RA during that week. Just a heads up!

    • Valerie

I think Aminehdestin deserves a raise! Thanks for all of your help :)

      • Leigh

        I agree!

      • Aminehdestin

Thank you. I really appreciate the… well, appreciation!

    • Rhiannon353

My $15 didn't print and I figured out it was because I bought the wrong Gillette deodorant (I bought the gel pictured). So, I sent my husband back to exchange for the right one, and ask about the 15 +up and the manager there told him it had to be $50 AFTER coupons, and they've had trouble all week because the ad didn't state that. I noticed that one of their gift card rebates in the book DID state that the amount had to be AFTER coupons. Is this common for Rite Aid? This was my first time to Rite Aid, (I usually shop CVS or Walgreens) and I have to say I'm very disappointed. If they usually make things this difficult, I may not shop there any more. I've never had any problems at CVS!

      • Sandy

There are plenty of people who received the $15 Up and used coupons– so, that isn't why you didn't receive your Up Reward. Up Rewards aren't cumulative so even if you exchanged the deodorant you still wouldn't get the Up. The whole purchase would have to be rung up again. DEFINITELY call Customer Service and I'm sure they'll mail you your Up Reward.

Most of the rebates say it's after coupons but, from my experience they are always before. I don't think they have a way to see what coupons you used for what products.

        • Sandy

I'd also inform Customer Service (1800RiteAid) that the manager informed you that you didn't receive the Up because of the coupons. She/He needs to be informed that the coupons have nothing to do with the Up Reward not printing.

Don't give up on Rite Aid. The Up program is new so, they are still working out the kinks. You will save a ton, and get lots of stuff for free. It's well worth it!

          • Sandy

informed, informed, informed… i need to find another word :)

      • Leigh

That's not true. I just went on Tuesday and I used coupons. I spent $29.97 out of pocket after coupons and the +UP printed. I spent $50 before coupons. There has been several people this week complaining about it not printing. I would call customer service and they will probably just mail it to you.

      • diane

i spent a grand total of $5.18 after coupons today and my $15 UP printed! I was ablt to score a ton of stuff! Im sorry your having problems..

      • julies

I spent $6.14 after coupons and I still got my $15 UP as well!

    • Jessdewberry

OMG! So I didnt notice that my printer was running out of black ink as I was printing off a million coupons…and now of course I cannot re-print some of them like a rite aid coupon for 5 off 25. It has all of the color stuff on there, but the black is hardly ledgable. DOes anyone know if they will still take this coupon?

      • Aminehdestin

I always do mine in B&W and they print great. The coupon has to legible though to be accepted. The bar code, even if it can't be scanned, the numbers have to be completely printed so that the cashier can read them and type them in. Try changing your printer settings to print in a different color since your black is out. Some printers will allow to print in blue. OR try wetting a paper towel, and take out the ink cartridge and just dab the wet cloth on the ink side, you'll see some come off on the cloth, do it one more time and put the cartridge back. This will give you a few more prints.

        • Jessdewberry

The only problem is that I can no longer print the same coupon over again…

          • pfsinnh

No problem…you can email Adperks and tell them what happened…they can reset the coupons for you.

            • Aminehdestin

    • Karen

I'm trying to access the videos on the myadperk site and every one I've clicked on tells me that it is “not available” at this time and to try another video. Anyone else having this problem? I've logged out and back in and used a new browser window. No dice. Any suggestions?

    • Blanecreations

okay.. just had a horrible experience at rite aid! i went in for the butt paste, hormel compleats and the perscription GC. I tried to transfer my bc pills, but since I just filled my Rx somewhere else they cant fill mine at rite aid until the 15th at the earliest. The coupon expires on the 11th. So incase you didn't know.. you have to fill the Rx to recieve the GC. So that went down the drain for me. Butttt two of the younger girls behind the counter were snickering and saying how I was trying to scam them out of a free GC basically. So I was pretty angry then. Then I go to purchase my items at the front desk.. and I guess the girl was new and overwhelmed by my coupons and called a mgr. He took all my coupons somewhere and came back and had a stack of coupons I couldn't use. Including the $3 video butt paste coupon, and both my video and man. coupon for 2 hormel compleats. (one was $1 off and the other $.55) All he told me was I couldn't use them and wouldn't explain.. and I'm not a griper so I bought the stuff full price and ran out!

I called customer service and explained everything and they're supposed to get back to me. But I wanted to see if anyone on here has gotten the butt paste Free eventhough the policy says no coupons exceeding the amount?

And can you use 2 of the same coupons on two items.. like 2 save $1.00/2??

And lastly can you use the $5/25 and then use the $4/20?

Because they didn't let me do any of these. I'm not a complainer like I said.. but I really felt like they were RUDE as all get out. (sorry to say but the town I live in is very racist, and I felt attacked today) Ughh.. sorry this is so long.. but any insight from yall would be helpful.. Thank you!!

      • Val

Yuck. Sorry your experience was so horrible. You shouldn't have been treated that way. To answer your questions:

        – Even if your coupons exceed the amount they should still accept them. They just have to adjust one of the coupons down (The $3.00 coupon becomes 2.99– it's only a penny overage). In the ad this week they even advertised Gain Detergent as Free because it's .89 cents with $1.00 off manufacturer coupon.

        – I'm not quite sure of the second question… You can't use 2 $1/2 on two items you'd have to purchase four. One coupon covers Two items… but if you are referring to your Hormel coupons.. if you bought 2 you should have been able to use the $1 off coupon and a .55 off coupon. One manufacturer coupon for each item is the policy.

        – No, you can't combine two total purchase coupons on a transaction. Although, some stores do let this slide, the policy states only one. You could split it up into two transactions. Use 5/25 on one and a 4/20 on another.

If I was you after you hear back from customer service take your receipt and return it all. If possible go shop at another Rite Aid. The prescription transfer has been in ads for a couple weeks now so, you should have the opportunity to transfer the prescription when the time comes.

        • Blanecreations

Thanks Val for your reply! I've got my coupon policy, reciepts and sales ad ready to go! Just waiting for CS to tell me what's up.. andd I'm going to a dif store from now on. It just stinks cause last time I went I had no problem at all with this older lady ringing me up.. but she wasn't there today. And now that I called the big wigs about this store I'm afraid to go back in there! haha.. Thanks again

      • Aminehdestin

Hey sweetie, I just wanted you to know that such horrible experiences aren't common at most RA stores. Val did a pretty good job answering all of your questions, so I won't repeat it all just to answer your questions myself. ;-)

I'm assuming that the Hormel though was you buying 2 right? And you had $1/2 man. coupon and a $.55 VV? Or something like that. Yes, you can stack those as long as the price of the two isn't cheaper than that $1.55, which it isn't. The Butt Paste, did you have the man. coupon as well? Because in that case they just have to adjust one of them down a penny giving you the item for tax alone. And don't fret over the transfer coupons expiring, I can all but guarantee that they'll be in next week's circular as well. Take a few deep breaths, and organize what you bought and what coupons you think they should've accepted, and go back in. If it wasn't the store manager that you dealt with today, ask to speak with them. Show your receipt, if they let you use any coupons point out which went with what items, and then show the coupons they refused to allow. Find and print the coupon policy from this site if you want back up and take it with you. You won't be able to use both total purchase coupons, but if you were just attempted to stack VV coupons with man. coupons it's perfectly legit. The manager will hopefully realize that the employees working when you went in were in the wrong, and do some post coupons for you. If not, if you have another RA close by (we have 5 in about 10 miles) seriously, go to another store. Don't return your merchandise b/c then you're out the coupons you used, but the other store may be willing to do post coupons on man. coupons (no total purchase though b/c those don't get paid back, and since the transaction didn't happen at their store… ya know). And stick on CS. Make sure they know that policy wasn't followed, and on top of that you were treated like you were scamming or committing a crime.

        • Blanecreations

Thanks so much for your reply! Yes I probably will go to a different store from now on.. because I was dealing with a manager today and he had no clue! I printed out the coupon policy too.. so I'm prepared from now on! haha I just feel like everyone is so rude once they see me with my coupon binder and sales ads. And, I'm not confrontational.. haha I'm a push over for things like this! But I'll keep on CS and see what happens!! Thanks again!

          • Aminehdestin

See, I think the coupon binders are hilarious. We have one lady who comes in with a 5″ binder busting at the seems. I've helped her pick up coupons so many times as the pages fall out. She's looking for a new one but doesn't want to pay $16 which is the cheapest she'd found. I told her to wait until Back to school is over and everything is on clearance. I just use a little accordian file coupon folder, but mine broke some time ago, so now envelopes are my new organization tools. I think coupons can cause undue stress to employees when they don't understand them, and also when they get hit with fraud at the level that we really do. That's when it's put on the store to just be aware. That's why I like these sites. I know what's out there, and on another site, someone has actually emailed me with links to other sites where people are encouraging out and out fraud. I stay a step ahead on what's going to sell well, and I also get a foot in the door to prevent fraud. The added bonus on here, is that I've been able to speak with people and really come to an understanding as to what works and what doesn't without breaking policy or committing fraud.

      • Erin

I just had another sucky day too. This one small town store I go to was clueless about coupons untillllll it seems the new coupon policy and memo came out. Today, this awful rude lady repeated herself 5 times as to why I can't use a VV B1G1 Pepsi and a manufacturer B1G1 Pepsi(saying they can't pay me LOL!!!). I could go on and on with the story, but it was pretty crazy and I'm sick of dealing with this all the time. She actually tells me to have a good night after this mess and I then I leave and am driving down the road and think, Righttt have a good night and flip my car 7 times being so upset over you(regardless of how many deep breaths I take). I hope all the lousy employees are happy when an honest customer ends up very well dead because of your horrid behavior, and that's not an exaggeration.

        • pfsinnh

I know exactly how you feel! Since we're on the subject of horrible customer service, I have a story for you. :)

I was on the other side of town and decided to stop into a RA that I never go to and purchase a jumbo pack of diapers and wipes. I had a coupon for a free pack of wipes wyb any pack of diapers. Well, I get to the register and there's this lady…slow as molasses.

When she gets to the free wipes coupon, she doesn't know how to process it! So I nicely explain to her how to enter the coupon (You write in the amount and key it into the register). Well…she EXPLODES and tells me she's worked at RITE AID for 15 years and knows how to enter coupons!

Then she actually takes out a pad of paper and pen and starts jotting down some numbers to try to figure out how much to take off for the wipes!!

By this time I'm absolutely flabbergasted, and there is a huge line forming behind me. I've never been so embarrassed. So she ends up giving me the wipes NOT for free, but charges me 19cents for them (we have no sales tax here)! I was so angry I was speechless. Didn't call anyone to complain because after awhile I actually felt bad for the lady being the most stupid person I've come across in a long time.

So it happens to all of us! LOL! I do have a favorite RA store and they know me. So just search around your town for a good fit and you'll be happy. Good employees are out there.

    • Gamego71

Just saw that Rite Aid is now participating with UPROMISE and I added my wellness plus card. Wanted to let all the Rite Aid people know.

    • Sleighe03

Where do you get the $128 Inside Clip & Save booklet and the Rite Aid booklet? I asked the cashier about the Rite Aid booklet the last time I was in there, and she didn't know what I was talking about.

      • DebKO

My RA hasn't put the Clip & Save booklets out yet….and they are being so secretive about them.

        • TheChapleigh

I asked the pharmacist about it the other day and he had no idea what I was talking about, tried to tell me about other kinds of coupons….

      • Aminehdestin

I went in and got my flu shot today and the pharmacist forgot to give me one until it literally fell off the cart. I joked that he should give me 30 and he said we had plenty… he's sure that after the rush we'll still have a few hundred left over. So go to your RX. If they do flu shots they do have them, but if you don't need a flu shot they may not let you have one. It's supposed to be for people getting the shot. But a lot of stores are being a bit more lenient with that.

    • Ilovekingmartin

Where do you get the $128 coupon booklet?

      • pfsinnh

You can get this booklet if you get a flu shot at RA.

    • pfsinnh

Looks like a slower week is coming up with Labor Day here already and no coupon inserts in this Sunday's paper.

I think I'm going to take this time to weed out more of my expired coupons and donate them to military families for exchange overseas.

If you would like to donate as well, you can google and send to the military branch of your choice. I'm sending mine to:

      Navy Family Service Center
      US Fleet Activities
      Attn: Coupon Distribution
      PSC 476 Box 62
      FPO AP 96322-1114

We live in the best country on the planet, and we are so blessed to have this website. The men and women who serve in our military deserve our help and support, so please pay it forward! :)

      • Aminehdestin

Wait, you donate expired coupons? How does this work? I come from a military family and have several friends home after tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, with a girl I've known since Kindergarten just enlisting. I'd like to know more if you don't mind!

        • pfsinnh

Sure thing! You can go to grocerysavingtips(dot)com Military Family Coupon Project and learn more if you'd like (I'm sorry for not providing a link to it…I don't know how!)

Military commissaries overseas will accept all food and non-food manufacturer's coupons up to 6 months beyond the expiration date (so all those P&G coupons that just expired can go to a good home, right?)

They only take the manufacturer's coupons and not store or internet coupons.

Be sure to tell your friends “thank you” for their service for me! :)

          • Aminehdestin

Thank you so much! I will be doing this right away. And I'll absolutely pass along the appreciation, it can never be said enough.

    • mell

Went today to RA, kicking myself for not going earlier in the week! They did not have the buttpaste or the dixie plated :( So I got 2 packs of pampers and some colgate toothpaste and Listerine. So It wasn't a huge loss…But it printed 2 $2 UPs for the Pampers??? I am happy about it but sometimes RA confuses me…ended up spending $12 and some change but got $6 in UPs!!!

      • Leigh

        Did you get rain checks?

        • mell

no..I didnt even think to ask! I told the lady that I was bummed I didnt come earlier in the week because they were out of a few things I wanted and she didnt offer…

    • Sheila

Well another week with a huge ? for RA. First when we arrived the manager was working the register and i'm thinking good finally everything will go as planned…WRONG…I bought the Pantene restore for $4. get $2. up rewards back then turned around and got the tide tried to use the $2.. up reward no way he says you can only use it on pantene prouducts so tired of fussing said okay. Then the $1.. back on the tide he said see you can only use this on tide. He said if anyone does this let me know because it is a big no-no and they can get wrote up. He also said he hates when people say “the manager always does it for me” he said I know they lie because I'm the manager. I just don't know, I think i'll just stick to cvs and wags. Lancaster, SC

PLEASE call customer service on this manager. He is Wrong!!!

The +UP rewards plainly say whatever the amount is off non-prescription purchase. And of course you can't the stuff listed at the bottom of it. I would of pointed this out to him. You should definately call customer service. Do you have another Rite Aid near you?

      • Aminehdestin

Call CS and ask them to call and explain the +UP rewards and coupons to that store, please. The +UP coupons state save $1 on $10 worth of (insert type of product here) whereas the +UP rewards that you earn for buying certain items state VERY CLEARLY (reading the 2 I have in front of me):
“+UP Reward: $1 off non-prescription purchase*” Then it gives the bar code to be scanned and states ” From purchase of COFFEE ASRT. *Good thru 9/11/10 on 1 purchase of at least $1 of eligible product excluding sales tax. No cash given. Not valid on prescriptions, lottery tickets, tobacco, alcohol, money orders, prepaid cards, stamps, licenses, other mailing services, online purchases or any items excluded by law. wellness+ card required” then it gives a few numbers.
That means that it's good on any front end purchase except the excluded items listed, and that it was received from my purchase of coffee mate last week. When it's redeemed, because it's a store/manufacturer coupon (starts with the numbers “49”) it will be paid back to the store by the makers of coffee mate no matter what it's used to purchase. It's a reward given by coffee mate, not to buy coffee mate.
If you think calling won't do anything, go to the website and email them, and ask them to email you the specifics of how the +UP rewards work. Take that with you and hand him a copy. Tell him he can keep it as well, so that he can make sure all employees at his store are aware of it. CS will tell you exactly what I did, but in less words most likely. ;-) You can use as many as you want on one item even with coupons as well as long as your OOP cost after everything you're using (store coupons, man. coupons and +UPs) doesn't go below 100% of your tax. Good luck. The program is still new enough, that some employees are being EXTREMELY careful with it, but they're doing it wrong. I even pointed it out to my manager b/c the way it was explained, they made it sound like it was good only on that product, I showed her one that I'd earned so that she actually knew what it said. An over abundance of caution is good at times, but when it's done wrong, it can lose customers, which will shut down stores, making it completely counterproductive.

I went to the same store two hours ago and had a fantastic experience with the assistant manager. He was super nice and helpful. I am new to shopping at RiteAid and was unsure about how things work and he was very helpful.

I purchased over $50 in P&Gproducts today at RA, all in one transaction. With $30 of which is Olay, so I qualify for $10 rebate. BUT if I submit my original receipt in with that rebate, I don't have my receipt to submit for the $100 coupon booklet rebate. Anyone know if I can get a duplicate receipt or if P&G will honor a copy? They haven't in the past… don't know if I should call, but they may say that I can't do both rebates.

      • Aminehdestin

It'd be best for you to call and ask each company if they'll accept either a photo copy of the receipt, or a print out from the store's computer because you need to hold on to the original receipts. I did a mail in rebate once, but I had bought a couple of things with my HSA so I have to hold the receipts for 5 years (I actually signed something saying that I would, and they can audit me at any time), and the company was willing to take a photo copy. If they want a print out, RA can print out from the computer in the office by inputting the receipt info, but it prints on an entire sheet of computer paper, and there's no way to print it on a second receipt. Call first, it's quite possible that one if not both will accept it.

        • Leigh

Do you have to save your receipts for SCRs after you have put the info in to request it?

          • mell

Im pretty sure that u dont have too.

          • Aminehdestin

I don't unless I used my HSA or there's something on there I need record of. I'd hold on to it at least until it goes through on your rebate account in case you typed something in wrong.

I cannot print the coupons linked at this site. For Bricks coupons, I get the message “sorry, you have already printed this coupon the allowed number of times” even though it's my first attempt. For others, like the Rite Aid $5 off, it says it is printing, but doesn't. Can anyone help?

      • Aminehdestin

I'm having trouble with some bricks coupons and not others. It's weird. If you have another internet browser, sometimes if you open it in a different one (Firefox instead of Internet explorer etc) they'll print. I haven't tried yet, they aren't that important to me right this second.

I just saw this on another site. I saw on a few sites that suddenly some people's rebate accounts were updated for the KC rebates to include the Huggies that were pictured but not listed, so I copied this response that said it came from RA CS:

We apologize for the confusion regarding the Kimberly Clark offer. Many Huggies product codes have been added, so the Huggies pictured in the Rite Aid circular and Single Check Rebates directory now qualify towards the Kimberly Clark rebate offer #148.

If you haven't requested your check, your rebate will recalculate and you will receive the proper credit towards the Kimberly Clark offer. If you already requested your check, please call Single Check Rebates customer service @ 888-213-9920 and we will resolve your issue.

      Single Check Rebates Customer Service
      Telephone: 888-213-9920

Thought some of you could benefit since I know many of you were hoping that Jumbo packs of Huggies worked and I'm not sure if anyone went back and filled the rest of the order out.

    • BluStarMom

I know this may not look like a great deal since I spent money, but I am trying to plan ahead a little:

      (5) Duracell packs (40 AA, 20 AAA, 16 D) + 9.99 each ($49.95)

      (2) Nivea Moisture Lips +2.99 each ($5.98)

      (1) Always +2.99

-$5 off $25 VV on Rite Prescription Info

-$4 off $20 for 20 points in VV

      -$3.75 (5 $.75 Duracell coupons)

      -$4.00 (2 $2.00 Nivea coupons)

      -$1.00 Always coupon

-$6.00 +UP Rewards (Huggies purchases last week)

      OOP total was $38.73

      $16 +UP Rewards

      $2.99 in SCR

But mainly stocked with batteries for the upcoming holiday season for my 17 month old…one less thing I have to worry about the week of Christmas

      • BluStarMom

Plus the qualified me for my P&G coupon book which I mailed off today….whoooppeee

      • Aminehdestin

The only thing is that you shouldn't have been able to use both the $5/$25 VV coupon and the $4//$20 VV coupon because policy mandates only one total purchase coupon per transaction. Technically, you spent enough to split it in to 2 transactions and use them both and they should have had you do that to stay in the clear.

As for your OOP, you will always need batteries, and batteries are expensive. Best to start preparing for Christmas now, since you know everything you buy will need them!

I did not find the Purex B1G1 in my ad or in the store.

    • Neelycoupon

When I use coupons at Rite Aid that say buy one get one free, they never let me use another coupon. For example, I used the BOGO coupon for the Gilllette Body Wash and then tried to use the $2 off Deoderant or Body Wash just like Jenny has in her senerio. They wouldn't let me use both coupons. I had this issue twice before. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Aminehdestin

We were told by our DM that we aren't supposed to. That the BOGO coupon is technically a coupon for the pair of items. You HAVE to buy the Deodorant to get the Body Wash free so that one coupon is a coupon on those two items. Just like a $4/2 type of coupon. For a while the register actually beeped and wouldn't allow it. It's stopped beeping so I'm not sure where we stand on it. It makes sense to me that the BOGO coupon does apply to both items, but it also makes sense that it's only taking money off of one, so why can't you use one on the first item. That's another thing I actually want complete confirmation on from loss prevention.

        • Brooke

Are you kidding me… it specifically states in the new policy that you can use another coupon with a B1G1 q. It's the first bullet under “Buy one get one free” It has never ever beeped since I've been shopping with Rite Aid for a year. If there's any beep, it is to ask the cashier to punch in the value of the free item. You should point this out to your loss prevention as to not cause anymore unnecessary confusion for your customers. So, you CAN use a B1G1 with a $2 on 1 item q, but of course never anything like a B1G1 with a $4/2 value q.
