Are you using the SavingStar app to help increase your grocery savings?

If you are using them and have some savings already in your account, please note that they are increasing their payout threshold from $5 to $20 starting 4/30.  If you already have some saved up and want to cash out before the threshold increases you need to do that by 4/29.

Personally, I leave my SavingStar funds in my account all year and cash out right before the holidays for extra spending money on presents.  So this doesn’t affect me at all… but I know some of you cash out every $5.  So be ready and get your $5 while you can before they increase it at the end of the month.

What is SavingStar?

It is a mobile app that has great coupons for extra grocery savings, plus they work with some stores directly!  That means if I shop at CVS, Food Lion, Rite Aid and others they automatically tell SavingStar what I bought and I get the savings back without having to submit any receipts!  It can’t get any easier.  They work with almost every store in store wether or directly or by submitting a receipt, so no matter where you shop you can earn savings.
