The holiday season is now upon us, and as I think about the year up to this point, the truth is that every month ends up being really busy, and having a plan always helps, even if I don’t follow it perfectly. This month I only used recipes from the Southern Savers archives, so there are a lot of familiar recipes here. I did that for a reason, because I like to stick with comfort foods and things that are easy to make when life gets really crazy. I hope my November 2026 monthly meal plan makes your life less crazy this month, too!

I kind of used a framework when planning meals. I chose two soup recipes each week, something substantial for the weekends, and several times we’re doing my kids’ favorite—breakfast for dinner!
