Starbucks has officially announced that Red Cup Day will return on November 17th. On Red Cup Day customers will receive a collectible, reusable holiday cup with the purchase of any handcrafted holiday beverage. Once you have your reusable red cup, bring it back on future visits to save 10¢ per drink.
The red cups notoriously run out quickly, so be prepared to wait in long lines in-store and in the drive-thru on launch day. You can also order ahead via the Starbucks app, but you’ll want to do so early due to the limited supply.
Check out some of Starbucks other holiday announcements:
- Returning drinks: Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Sugar Cookie Latte and Gingerbread Chai are all coming back.
- New Tiramisu Velvet lineup: Modeled on the Italian dessert, it includes a Tiramisu Velvet Latte (hot or iced) and a Tiramisu Velvet Cold Brew, each finished with mascarpone cold foam and a cocoa-and-coffee dusting.
- New Apple Pomegranate Refresher: It combines apple flavor with pomegranate-flavored popping pearls, and there’s also a creamier “Snowy Apple” version made with coconut milk.
- Food: A new Bearista Cake Pop arrives for a limited time, along with a new Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese and a reworked Turkey & Stuffing Sandwich. The Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish are also returning.
- New Merch drops Nov. 5: New collections include Holiday Bearista drinkware and accessories (with a plush keychain), a Holiday Village line inspired by the original Pike Place store, and a retro-styled Peppermint Mocha collection of cups and tumblers.
- More merch later: The Winter Wonderland collection drops Nov. 17, and the original Bearista Glass Cold Cup returns at a date still to be announced.
- Grocery aisle: Holiday products are already in stores, including a new Peppermint Mocha Flavored Coffee plus returning seasonal coffees, creamers and bottled drinks.
