Top Cereal Deals: Never Pay More than $1

Cereal should never cost more than $1.  That’s my buy price anyway.  Okay, there may be moments where I’ll splurge and pay 25¢, but those are few and far between.

The price of cereal jumps around a lot, so don’t focus on all the sale prices.  Just put to memory that we never want to pay more than $1 and look for any deals that fall to that price.  Generally Buy One Get One sales with a good coupon will get us to the right price, or even better are milk and cereal promotions (like the one running through today at Kroger).

Remember, to save the most we need to pair the great $1 sale price with stocking up.  You can’t just buy one box of cereal, you need to get enough to last you six weeks.  Before you panic, we see different brands on sale every week.  So grab a few boxes of this weeks brands and few more next week.  If you are single, then maybe 2 boxes is all you need.  Just make sure that you are getting enough at the sale price to get you through until it’s on sale again!
