This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Chobani for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

There are a few things I can always count on my crew eating.  Dip with crackers, chips or even fresh veggies is one of them.  They would try to make it a meal if I let them!  Recently we have seen some great deals on Chobani’s new Meze Dips so we decided to grab them and try them out.  They were such a hit that the first container was finished off the day it was opened… it was not even a party either, just 6 people sitting around going a little crazy.

What are the new Meze Dips?
Chobani, best known for their Greek Yogurt, launched Meze Dips recently expanding to the deli section and savory snacking. Chobani Meze Dips feature real veggies, herbs and spices blended with creamy Greek Yogurt in a shareable 10 oz container. The dip comes in four great flavors made with only natural, non-GMO ingredients.

There are four flavors to choose from: Roasted Red Pepper, Three Pepper Salsa, Chili Lime and Smoked Onion and Parmesan.  Our favorite so far was the Three Pepper Salsa.  Think of it like a creamy almost queso with a lot less fat and calories!  Score one for me and my diet.  The Three Pepper Salsa is a blend of Green Peppers, Chili Peppers and Jalapeno Peppers with Herbs and Greek Yogurt.  Total calories… 25 per serving!  Compare that to a queso and you will see just how much better Meze Dips are (not to mention the taste is amazing).  Just pretend for a moment that you did go a bit overboard and ate the entire 10 oz container with fresh peppers, carrots and other vegetables, just hypothetically, you would have only eaten 125 calories!  You would also be pretty stuffed too.  I’m not saying you should eat it all in one sitting, but in case it happens there is no guilt.

If you want to try these out there is currently a $1 off coupon you can print.  You will find them in stores across the country including Target and Walmart.  They retail for $3.99 a container, but we’ve already seen some sales and will continue too.

I have this on my shopping list this week to grab two flavors we haven’t tried yet (the Smoked Onion and Parmesan and the Chili Lime) to add to our July 4th party fare.  We always try to have folks out for the holiday and I have a feeling everyone will enjoy them as much as we did.  I’m thinking these flavors will be mild enough for all ages.  Adding these into the mix also means I have some great healthy choices on the food table to pick from too.  Plan to grab with your dips fresh snow peas, green and red bell peppers, carrots and even broccoli to have healthy dipping options.

Two other healthy things to note if you aren’t already adding this to your shopping list (and printing out the coupon), Chobani Meze Dips are gluten free and they contain all the live cultures we normally get in yogurt.
