Walgreens has rolled out a completely new Healthy Rewards program.  I’d like to say these are changes to the old program, but honestly nothing remains from the old system…

Walgreens Healthy Rewards allows you to earn Balance Rewards for exercise, logging weigh-ins, tracking sleep etc.  That same general concept is still around, but everything about the rewards and program are new.

First sign up (again if you already were a part of the program) and join new 4 week long challenges.  There are two showing up on the first page, but click on either of the options and you’ll find over 25 different challenges you can join.

For every week (of the 4 week challenge) that you complete you’ll get 100 Balance Rewards. You can join a few different challenges and earn even more points.  After you complete all 4 weeks you’ll get to spin a wheel for a points bonus (up to 2,000 Balance Rewards).  1,000 points equals $1 off your next purchase.

All challenges begin on Monday, so you can join today and have a couple days to prep.

The Easy Way To Earn:

Download the Walgreens App, and you’ll be able to link your phone or device to Healthy Rewards.  Now every time you go for a walk or log a meal your phone will tell Walgreens.  You won’t need to log items in multiple places!

The Only Downside:

With the new system you’ll need to be more involved (which was probably their plan).  I earned over $8 in rewards this year having devices linked and never needing to open their app or think about it.  With the new Healthy Rewards you’ll need to make sure at first things are tracking and then make sure to sign up for new challenges every 4 weeks (I’m hoping they send reminders).
