If you’re using coupons to save your family money, then you’re most likely already a money-minded person thinking about the future. On of the biggest future money needs for most of us is college, and putting savings aside for our children now.  For years Upromise has been trying to help families off to college, and they’re still helping us now.

Upromise is a free program to join.  Once you are signed up, you’ll earn cash for college from everyday online and in-store purchases!  You can use electronic coupons in the grocery store, plus earn a percentage back from thousands of products and stores.  Since 2001, members have received over $700 million in cash for college and they’re hoping to see even more folks pledge to save money!

Make a Pledge to Save

From now through November 13th you can pledge to save for college and  join the millions of Upromise customers working towards a $1 billion savings goal.  When you pledge to save with Upromise, you’re entered to win a $150,000 full ride to college and $500 gift cards to major online retailers!

To enter the “Make the Pledge, Keep the Promise” Sweepstakes, submit your entry on Upromise.com or on the Upromise Facebook page.  Make your pledge to save for college, and you can even upload a photo of your future graduate.   Gain unlimited entries by shopping online at Upromise.com (this also will start you earning money for college too).

What is Upromise?

Upromise is kind of like cash back shopping, but instead of getting a check sent directly to your door, it goes straight to savings for a college education!  You can earn money by dining out, booking travel, buying gas and purchasing other services.  You also don’t need to have kids to participate.  My husband and I signed up years ago before we had any kids, and used Upromise to help us find a realtor to work with on selling and buying a new house.  We then got 11% of the realtor’s commission back in our Upromise account!!  By the time we actually had kids, we had over $2000 saved for college!
