      I had a problem at my Target with a $.99 item and a $1 coupon. The cashier said she couldn't take it because it was for more than the item. I didn't push it because it was only $.99. Anyone else had this issue?

        I have had the same problem but they have gotten better and I have taken in the coupon policy and it helps I found it a couple weeks ago at the top of one of the adds on ss

        I had the issue at publix. But never target. It was actually for the penny item, and i have a competitors coupon for 50cents off ANY BRAND toilet paper. she wouldnt take it. I didnt push the issue though

        I have had coupons worth more than the item is worth so they just do the coupon for the price of the item.

        I seem to always get “that” cashier who gives me grief like that!! But, tonight I had such a nice lady! I had several that caused overage. Overage from 1 cent up to 76 cents and she let everyone of them go thru, as is!!

        You may want to print a copy of the Target coupon policy and carry it with you. (I'm sure that we'd all smile and ask nicely at this point). Then you can point out that their policy shows how they can honor this situation.

      Just make sure the coupons from the Target site say Target Web Coupon on the top before you double it with a manufacture. A lot of the coupons now on the Target site are all manufacture.

        Can you combine a Target coupon with a manufactures coupon? I didn't know that!

          Yup as long as the coupon says on the top in black Target Web Coupon you can combine that with a manufacture coupon.

          But I think Target is finally seeing they are loosing money with us coupon ladies by doubling up so they have less of the Target Web Coupons up now.

            They get reimbursed for all the manufacturer Q's, so that wouldn't be part of their decision whether to print Target Q's.

            Maybe the manufacturers do not like the idea of items walking out the door for next-to-nothing, so they discourage Target from doing too many coupons. Sometimes it cheapens a brand to let it sell for too low or allow people to feel like it's worth less than it is.

            Part of Sony's marketing strategy is setting in-store retail prices and scarcely ever having sales~especially on the game consoles, etc.

          Most all stores allow you to combine store with manufacturer such as Wags, Publix, Target, CVS, etc

          Most bloggers will tell you when new Target store coupons are out, because of their stackablity. The Kid's Crest and Band Aid coupons are both store Q's.

      The $1 off Oral B kids Q is 4 the power brush,not the manual.My Q for the manual is a $.50/1! So,unless the P&G booklets r regional(I'm in metro Atl.),this is a “typo”,& shouldn't b used.

        I actually have 2 different ones. One is for 50 cents and the other is for $1 and the wording is the same. Both are valid for the Oral B stages toothbrushes.

      isn’t the coupons.com printable for the tag reading system and not books? I would love to save on more books, but I think that one isn’t a match up…

      I was able to print the Leapfrom Tag $5/$30 coupon from Target, but can only find a mf. coupon to save $5 off the Tag Reading System. If this is the only mf. coupon available, you couldn't use it to purchase the books. Am I understanding that correctly? Perhaps there's another coupon that I'm not seeing.

      The $5 off Leapfrog mf. coupon available to me is only applicable if you purchase the Tag Reading System. If that's the case, I couldn't use it to purchase books as the deal idea suggests. Is there another coupon that would apply to the books that I'm not able to pull up? Maybe a different zip code?

      lately i have been having trouble using the mfg q's with the target logo at other stores (tried at cvs and they told me that was a target q). i showed them where it says mfg but they absolutely refused to take it…anyone else have that prob?

        I have had two Publix stores refuse to take them, so I don't even waste my ink on Target coupons anymore. That logo seems to scare the cashiers.

          The Target coupons that are manufacterer coupons no longer have the Target logo on them!!!

        Talk to the manager and email corporate they will take care of it. I argued with an idiot Wags manager tonight that tried to tell me a BOGO and a 2for is the same thing…HULLO no it isn't.

      WOW!! I went in to Target tonight for several things and while they STILL were out of the Kellogg's crips, I did great! I got a FREE Oral B Stages toothbrush, Kid's Crest for 49 cents, 2 FREE band aids, Whitening Crest w/ a travel size for 24 cents, Cheerios for 64 cents , Baked Lays for $1, Golden Oreos for 79 cents and FREE Rimmell mascara (plus 76 cents overage)!! Paid just over $3 for it all. ( oh and a cute pair of kids sunglasses for DD Easter basket in the One Spot) I still want those Crisp bars before the Target Q's expire on Sunday!!!

        I know this is late but for next time…. I went into my Target to use the Qs with the buy 5 get the gift card deal and they were out. The 3rd trip i made – they had 3 (which i took) I mentioned this to the manager and she looked it up and i indeed had the last 3 boxes so she worked it out and gave me the gift card anyway.

      I just found out that if you use food stamps at Target with coupons the coupons pay for taxable items and eliminate your taxes. Example: I bought sutton and dodge meat on clearance with a target coupon and a peelie twice ($4 off $7.50) and I got Bounty paper towels (on sale bulk area)$10.49 minus $8 and I didn't pay taxes. When I went to correct the problem the cashier said that's just the way the cash registers work.

      I will NEVER shop at Target again, except to use up my diaper coupons that are Target coupons. I went in the other day and was going to double a Target coupon, that I had printed from their website, with a manu coupon. They would not take the Target coupon. None of the staff was helpful. NEVER again!!!!!

        I would not have left without speaking to every available manager in the place and telling them I would email corporate.

        I'm not advocating being rude, but they are in the game to make money and they are the ones putting out the store coupons. If they get a couple of calls from corporate about why their store is making customers angry, they will shape up soon. But if we just stop shopping the store, they will perpetuate the ignorant behavior.

        I had serious issues with Target a couple weeks ago, the kid seemed to delight in refusing as many of my coupons as possible. I argued, but he wouldn't have it, and he was the manager on duty. So I called corporate the next day, and the lady at corporate told me if you ever have a problem like that again, go to the red phone at the front of store and call them right then– they will educate the employee on the phone, and then you can complete your transaction.
