I don't think that Super Target has a presence in South Carolina, so I don't think they would consider Target a competitor inasmuch as they want to control this deal by limiting it to grocers. (My hometown is Columbia). I know my Publix here in Orlando does not take Kmart and Family Dollar coupons. They don't even take Walgreens or CVS. My opinion is that if I can buy a product somewhere else, it is competition. But, I'm sure the limit is in place because Publix takes a loss when they accept a competitor's coupon.

I plan on waiting to see if the Granola Bars go on sale before the coupons expire and hopefully get an even better deal. If they go BOGO, I might even be able to get both the Granola Bars and Granola Thins FREE or close to it (fingers crossed).

I can't either. I wrote Ocean Spray and they sent me two $.55 coupons but they don't seem to care that their $1 coupon won't print. I told them others were unsuccessful at printing it too and they said to try back later. I have been trying for over a month now. Good company but I still wish I could have the $1 coupon.

You lucky duck….I tried to use a $3.50 off any Pampers BJ's coupon in conjunction with a $3 VocalPoint and free wipes q, but my Publix wouldn't take it. Guess I can't complain though because they always take my Rite-Aid and Target q's!

I was on here looking for the same thing. It doesn't say “limit one per household or address” but they do reserve the right to limit their offer. I'd hate to have 4 rebates sent in and them decide to only honor one!

This is a your mileage may vary kind of thing. Some of the Publix in my area will take as many coupons as you have no matter what type and how many…others have strict “one same competitor coupon per transaction”. Meaning you can't use 5 competitor coupons for the same types items, but you can use 5 different coupons for different types of items. I would call your store before you go.

I know I've used 2 of these type of q's in one transaction before but I noticed on the Honest Juice q it states only one coupon per purchase.

i have been trying to get that booklet. went to winn dixie yesterday saw the display stand for the booklets. None of them were left, so i asked about them at the cs desk, and no one knew what they were.

i found mine in walmart…by the school supplies.

My publix is picky about this. If the coupon says buy 2 items you must buy 2 items to use the coupon.

It was at my store. The ad listed Ronzoni for $1.39 (the same price as the Ronzoni Smart Taste). I took it up for a price check and it rang up at 50% off. I used the $1 coupon from the magazine and four .75 coupons for the five boxes I bought. What a deal!

My store also didn’t have them marked, but I checked and they rang up for 1/2 price. I got 4 boxes of pasta free w/the coupon! Good luck!

I have always been able to use a store q and manufacturer's q stacked together on one product. I only shop at the Lexington, SC store and have never had a problem doing this. I do know that they don't accept competitor's q's. They are pretty coupon friendly in my opinion. Once you become a regular couponer and they get to know your face and that you aren't one of those that try to “get over” on them, you'll find that they are very friendly and will often try to help you save money. They frequently will let me know if there is a new Publix q to look out for so that I can stack it and save extra $. Also, you need to divide the total cost after q's by the number of products, in this case 2, and that's how you get the cost PER item. Hope this helps.

Mine did the same last week. We splitted the shopping list and he end up getting products that were regular price as opposed to the BOGO. Most of the items were the right brand, just wrong size and or flavor. But at least he's not embarrased to use coupons.

The items listed under the Buy 1 Get 1 deals list the price for 2 of those items (the higher price) and the one in parenthesis is if you buy only 1 item. Jenny does this because states like FL have true B1G1 (one rings up full price and the other is free) and other states like GA just ring up at half price which means you don't have to get 2 items if you don't want to. Use a coupon on top of the sale price and you have an even better deal. Hope that helps.

I do what Kendra mentioned below. As for the ones that come in the mail, I find on product packaging, I get at the grocery store, or I print, I also have a 3 ring binder with clear baseball card sleaves in it and dividers. My dividers say things like 'Dairy', “snacks”, “Frozen Food,” etc. So, I keep it all together and when I print my list form this wonderful site I cut what I need and go. The downside is that I don't have all of this when I'm at a store and find a good clearance deal that I'd like to pair a coupon with; however, like Kendra said below, cutting them all BURNT me out and there just aren't enough hours in the day!!! Good luck! You'll get addicted!

We do ours as grocery, household beauty, dog, and baby. We never cut them out until we need them. It takes a little while to go thru them sometimes but, we normally save 75% on our Publix bill!

I've been doing this a few months now & I am already burned out on clipping coupons. It simply takes too much time to cut THEN file them for me and this is with my husband's help! Like others below mentioned, I have a large zippered 3-ring binder that I use baseball card holders & tabbed dividers to organize any coupon that's not from a newspaper insert. I have a box set up with file labeled file folders that are dated for newspaper inserts (SS 8/1/10, RP 8/1/10, etc…).
After a couple of shopping trips, I quickly realized I need to have all my qs pulled & readied prior to walking in a store. I drive 50 miles to shop at a Publix & a Kroger so I hit them both when I go. I have an envelope labeled with the store (Publix, CVS, Wags, etc…) & I put my qs (I paperclip mine together per item) & southernsavers shopping list in this envelope. I take my zippered notebook in the store with me but have the appropriate envelope seperate. I only open my notebook if I stumble across a deal, etc… which is pretty rare. I don't have a lot of time to browse the stores as I have 2 little ones, live on a 30-acre farm, & work fulltime outside the home (like so many others I am certain!) so I go to a store and get precisely what's on my list. It is VERY rare for me to get anything without a coupon these days as I am quite disciplined & stick to my list!

i use a photo album with the spaces for 3×5 pics, it is 3 ring so i can move the pages around. i have it organized by product type and by the isles in publix. it fits perfectly under the handles of the shopping cart so i can flip the pages around if i see something that was not on my shopping list. i pull the coupons out before i go and take my Southernsavers shopping list with me. I use an empty pock in the back to store the coupons i will use for that trip. i cut out everything and then only keep the ones i know i will use. the others, i send off to a military base overseas as they accept expired coupons in the comissary…my little contribution. btw, i dont cut out individually, i take apart the coupon booklets and stack like pages, cutting out all of the like coupons at once, saves sorting. Works for me!

Most coupon sites will allow you to print the coupons 2 times. Occasionally it is only once, and quite rare are pdf coupons. A pdf file will allow you to print it as many times as you wish. Watch out for those pdf ones tho, if they come in an email or posted on some not so kosher blogs-if they are too good to be true then they are most likely fraudulant. If it is a pdf and posted right on the manufacturers website, then it is ok.

I saw the coupon for the Perdue individual portions but I did not find them in the store although I found packs of Perdue chicken (not individually wrapped). I assumed it was different and did not use the coupon.

I go to Publix every week and watch the meat sales at Kroger and go there when they're having a big sale. I've found that usually with coupons I can't beat a Publix bogo deal at any other store. If you have a discount food store like Aldi near you, I highly recommend them for things like produce and milk that there usually aren't coupons for. I usually go there about once a week to every other week depending on what the produce sales are like at Publix.

I mostly use printed coupons from the above links. had a few from the paper. used $5 off Rite Aid, $5 off Saves A lot, and 2.50 Extra Care Bucks on each transaction!! Hope this hepls!!

I went to the one at Kennerly crossing today and had a great cashier. I think he was a manager. I have never had bad service although I do sometimes get a “vibe” from a cashier and I had a bagger say he hates coupons.
I think you should call or email the manager. He needs to know that his employees are costing him customers.

I have had a bad experience once with someone at a Publix. I had went to check out and put all my items out and realized I was in the express line. I had MAYBE 12-15 items. The guy made me put all my items back into my buggy and move to another lane where I had to wait behind three people. At the same time there was no one behind me in his lane. So as I stood waiting to check out I looked over and he was standing in the aisle waiting for somone to check out. I would have been checked out and gone if not for him (even though technically I was over my limit for express) It still made me upset because they are supposed to be customer oriented. I called the manager of the store and he absolutely apologized and said he should have checked me out regardless of my being several items over. He said it did not have to be 10 items or less specifically as long as it was within reason of that number. That is the ONLY time I have had a problem there so far. I tend to go early in the morning because the cashiers and workers seem to be more informed about the products and coupons. Maybe see if you can try to go in the morning before lunch time (if that is possible for you) I also would speak to the manager (whoever the head manager is) and if he is no help move on up the line to the district manager. I am sorry you had a bad experience. Do not dispare…..hopefully your next experience will be better.

I had a problem checking out at a Winn Dixie one time. I was paying for a 12 pack of Coke with quarters. It was on sale for $2.50 so I had 10 quarters…I just happened to have a bunch of change in my purse. That was all that I was buying. The young cashier told me she could not take that much change and I would have to go and put it in the change machine and get bills to use! I told her that quarters were money and that I was not going to do that and inconvenience myself! I was sooo mad but I was on my way somewhere and did not have time to speak to a manager right then. I just walked out and left the soda. When I got home I wrote an e-mail to the corporate address at their website…explaining what happened and telling them how sad I was that coins were no longer acceptable money at Winn Dixie! About a week later I received a gift card for Winn Dixie for $25! (tee,hee,hee)

I love my Publix, but I did have a horrible experience about a year ago and I e-mailed corporate. If you go on their website there is a link and then you fill in store information and your praise, question or complaint. I had a similar experience with a cashier making a big deal about the number of coupons I had and repeated apologizing to everyone in line and saying things like, “I’m sorry people, but as you can see its not me holding you up, its this lady thats inconviencing you”, etc…I received a call from the store manager two days later. I have never seen that cashier again. I am not sure if he was fired, quit or what. I feel bad (slightly), but Publix takes customer service very serious! Just be sure that if you do complain that somewhere down the road when you have a good experience you let corporate know that too. I feel that too many people take the time to complain, but few take the time to praise.

Unless it's something I 'have' to have (or milk, fruit) , I ONLY buy items on sale that I have coupons to match up with. It takes time, but as you build a stockpile it gets easier. After awhile you get spoiled and go just for the moneymakers, free, or really cheap stuff. :) In time you learn how to buy things you don't need to pay for things you do need. For instance, last week I bought Ducolax that was free at CVS after the ECB. I had a $5 MQ, so I 'made' $5 on it and used that to buy other products that were on sale that I needed. In the beginning, start with one store. As you get more comfortable expand. I have a favorite grocery store, drug store, and office supply store. Once in awhile I'll go to other stores, but there has to be several deals. It's not worth a trip just for one sale item. :)

You have to “load” the coupon onto your card and then when you're checking out you have them scan your upromise card when you're buying that particular item.

I did the listerine deal twice yesterday. I am now stocked up on mouthwash for awhile thanks to this deal and last week's crest deal at BI-LO.

Stoneybrooke takes Whole Foods. I used a couple a week or two ago. I am going to try it tomorrow with the juice boxes. I have found that Stoneybrooke is so much more coupon friendly (actually more friendly in general) than the new Loch Leven store. Give them a try!!

I live a few minutes away from you and I looked through both the Sun Sentinel and Palm Beach Post this week as well as previous weeks (back to 7/4/10) and there wasnt a coupon I could find, either! I'm finding the Palm Beach Post and Sun Sentinel dont always have the same coupons, either…even though Sun Sentinel now owns PB Post….

I live in central Florida and my Publix stores (of which I have one on almost every corner) DO take Target coupons. Our regular Target just added a huge grocery section and is handing out coupons and mailing coupons like crazy so I asked the Publix manager and they said YES we accept Target.

Publix's BOGO are truly just each item 50% off. Your additional BOGO coupon will take off one item for each coupon. In special cases the coupon's value becomes less than $.50 and then the coupon will double – which could THEN make both items free. For example: a couple of weeks ago Publix had Sprout baby food at BOGO for $.99. Each became $.49. I had a bogo coupon that the cashier manually entered as $.49 and then the computer doubled it since it was under $.50. I got both packages of baby food for free. Hope this helps!

Atlanta does not have true BOGO at Publix! Each item is just 1/2 price!

I asked at the service desk before I shopped at my Publix to make sure they honor Target coupons. they did and it was great. My bill should have been $106.00 but walked away with paying only 40.00. I've never had so much fun buying groceries.

You have to buy 2 items if the coupon is $1/2. I don't know of any store that would allow you to only buy one. The $.50 price above is per item. If you buy the pencils at $1 ea. then use a $1/2, you will pay $1 total for both (or $.50 ea.). HTH!
