I needed a break last week.  Sorry for not giving you a heads up.  It was a long week and I was beyond exhausted.   Honestly I have a confession.  I grow weary of posting our savings every week especially lately as we get busier and busier and weeks go by that I share all the deals but don’t have time to actually shop and get any.

I realized this week though that many of you enjoy sharing and seeing other peoples finds (or just enjoy traffic to your sites) and that this isn’t about me.   So forgive me for a silent week, and even if we don’t shop I always will at least give you a link up.

We did shop this week.  It was a bare bones basic trip, we got in town after being gone for long trip and had no milk, or fresh fruit or veges.  So I ran out for the essentials and then made another trip just for Vitatop Muffins.  (I couldn’t have everyone take all of my favorite Deep Chocolate!)

Publix:
Total Before Sales and Coupons: $48.90
Total Spent: $33.31
Total Saved: $15.59

I know it’s nothing impressive, but it was what was needed and was well within budget so all is good.  In the end, it is more important in couponing to get the things your family needs then to have wowing and stunning numbers.

How did you do this week?  Leave a comment or a link to your savings post.
