My publix will only take one competitor coupon per transaction and it has to be a store within 10 miles (Wal-Mart, Winn-Dixie, K-Mart,) and they will not take drug store qs.

Publix stores in NE Orlando (Seminole County) don't double coupons and only take grocery competitor coupons (like Albertson's), but not coupons from Target, Walgreen's and the like. However, Publix will take the spend $50 save $5 Albertson's coupons, which is nice on a heavy week.

I have been watching a few YouTube videos of what some have purchased and how they saved. Some are saying they had printable coupons and I am wondering how they get more than 2 coupons to print. When I print I only get 2.
So far I have been using the online coupons and nothing from my paper..as of yet. I am still waiting to use my paper coupons.

More than one computer. I have Mac and use a program called Boot Camp to use Windows. It's like having two computers on one machine. 95% of the time, I never print a coupon more than 2 times, but when they thought I downloaded two many coupons or there was an issue, I would just switch over into Windows and print it there. This does not work with virtualization though, like Parallels and VMWare Fusion.

You have to have more than 1 computer if you want to print more that 2 coupons. You can print 2 coupons per computer.

Some folks have several computers that they can print coupons from (laptop, desktop, work computer etc.), and they print 2 per computer. I just have one, so I only get 2 prints too. You are right that printable coupons are the most frequently used (at least they are for me), but newspaper coupons have some great deals too… especially P&G inserts.

I agree with everyone else on the printables on Smart Source, and Redplum… for that you would need two computers.But if they are from Facebook then I use my hubby's account as well to print out a second (or fourth if they let you get two each) deal. Also with any that lead to some other sites that make you register by email address, then use your spouse's, kids, or parents email as well and register to get more coupons or freebies. It only works though if they don't limit you to one per household..just one per email address.

It's not really the number of computers… it's the number of IP addresses. Some people have a work computer at home with a separate IP address, or use a computer at work. For very high value coupons I sometimes even use the library at 20 cents a page… worth it for $2 or $3!

Yes, you can do that. Just make sure they print the 2nd receipt at the register. If you go back later and try to get a duplicate it's printed on computer paper and I don't know if they would accept that for a rebate.

Some suggestions for (NE Orlando) Publix stores:

1) Check grocery competitor coupons (like Albertson's).

2) Check out the available ads/coupons at both the front area and the service desk.

3) Go down every aisle to see if there are any tear-off coupons and/or dispenser coupons. Take what you might need for the current (or even a future) week.

4) Talk with the employees. They see how others are saving money and sometimes you can get a great hint from them. (That's how I was directed to Southern Savers.)

5) Check to ensure that all your coupons are rung up correctly. (Sometimes when I have a handful of coupons, the cashier gets flustered, so I try to help them out, if possible. I also try to stick to certain cashiers who I found have an easier time managing all my coupons (savings).)

If you use a $1/2 coupon, you must buy two. As a general rule, you always have to follow the wording on a coupon exactly. I'm sorry, I don't know about the bbq sauce.

Does Publix accept Target's market fresh coupons for publix brand items? Such as: I have a $1.50 off 3 market fresh items. So if I buy 3 publix brand items can I use this coupon?

On the double coupon rule. If I have a coupon for .50 then it will double at the register and be redeemed as $1.00 off?

If that's the case, then if I have a manufactorer coupon for .40 off and a store coupon for .50 off will my total off be $1.80?

Either try another computer or try going to the link/website on your own. Meaning don't click on the link provided. For instance, you're having problems with the Welch's coupon. Instead of clicking the link, go directly to welch's website and find the coupon on your own. Sometimes the coupons or links are….encoded (don't know what other word to use) and can tell when it's already been printed. Hope this helps.

Just left publix thanks for all the great coupon match ups. I wanted to tell you that on the 60z bags of beggin strips there is a bogo peelie. Combine that with (2) 1.00 manufactors, and the 1.00 off target coupon (on any 2 Purina treats) I paid .49 for 2 bags of treats.

Just had to share. Just got back from Publix. Our sale ad doesn't change until tomorrow. I got a Box of Huggies Little Movers diapers reg. 19.99 and eight boxes of Yakisoba Noodles. I paid $8.20. They let me use the $5 RR I got from Walgreens from the Sinex deal as a Man. Q because it scans as a vendor Q. It also says on the front that it's a P&G offer. I used the $2 Walgreens Q from their Nov. booklet and the $2 In-ad coupon from the Publix ad. I made 3.20 off the noodles that applied to my total. I really wanted to skip out of the store.

Not sure if anyone can help with this question, but i’ll ask it anyway. I’m having trouble with the coupon printing sites. I just got a new computer and when i go to the coupon sites to print them (like coupons.com) all i get are x’s on all the pictures and I can’t do anything. The coupon printer is installed because i was able to print from a product site. I’ve tried enabling different things, but it hasn’t seemed to help. This is super frustrating!!! It’s like my computer isn’t supporting those sites. Anyone have any insight???

Some stores have them in a rack when you first walk in the store along with the sales ad. But at my store you have to ask for them at the customer service desk because they had trouble with people being stingy and taking huge stacks.

What is the difference between the different types of flyers, green, yellow? do all stores get all of them?

Usually the green flyers are medicine/personal care type stuff (vitamins, aspirin, Tylenol, Bengay, etc) and they are good for about 2 weeks or so. The yellow ones are food type items (soda, chips, cheese, tuna, etc) and are also good for about two weeks. They both also contain coupons and are usually staggered release (the green one out now expires in a week or so and the new yellow came out 10/30). To the best of knowledge all of the stores have them and are usually located just inside the store front door or in the lobby area in front of the store front door.

Coupons up to 0.50 double at Publix. So 0.40 doubles to 0.80, 0.50 doubles to $1.00. Stacking is different, you can use a competitor's coupon (such as Target) PLUS a manufactuer Q, for the same item (if this applies to your store, I hear Florida is different. Hope this helps!

Had to share: I was in my local Publix this afternoon (Alabaster, AL) and as I was walking down one of the aisles I noticed two elderly men stopped by the Finish stuff. They were huddled by a shopping cart and when one of the gentlemen turned around I noticed they both had a folder of coupons. I thought it was just adorable that two elderly men (I call them grandpa lol) were couponing as well and were as organized as Jenny. It was just adorable and I had to share!!!

I think if someone could arrange it, it would be an awesome idea to do a coupon class for the elderly at local senior citizen venues. If anyone needs help saving money it's definitely our grandparents!

My Publix (E. Brainerd Rd., Chattanooga, TN) has the same policy. They also don't take Earth Fare coupons, because its considered a specialty health store. However, our Target price matches. So you could do the deal at Target, but call your Target first to make sure they price match so it's not a wasted trip!

I am in Summerville SC and have checked for months and only the waterproof bandages are on the shelf. We use the fabric ones as a thumb-sucking deterrent so we go thru a ton! Close all Internet browsers (probably IE). Open and then go to options and delete all temporary internet files. Close IE again and then reopen. Go to print and should work.

If that doesn't work, get your task manager open and end any process with java.exe

I know at Target you can bring a coupon back within a few days of your purchase and they will honor it and give you the cash back. Never tried it at Publix but they are so friendly they probably would either take it or do a return/rebuy with the coupon.

In most states the BOGO's ring 1/2 price. In FL, you will have to buy all three… Not sure about other states with the B2G1, but if you're here in FL – get all three to make it worth it. hth

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all you do for us. I've talked to others in stores recently and given them this website, as it's my go-to, first-stop when I log on the computer each day. I live an hour from our nearest Publix, Rite Aid, Kroger, and Target. I use your lists, and make a trip once each week, sometimes skipping a week if nothing appeals to me enough. I did my trip this morning, spent less than $100 at both Publix and Rite Aid combined, filled the whole cargo compartment of my van with groceries, and had to put my 3 cases of water in the passenger area! I was able to save enough today that even on our meager budget, I was able to do the $10+ donation at target to help feed others who are not as blessed as we are. The ones that say “printable” and are underlined are the ones to click on to print them. The link will take you to another website where you will actually find the coupon. You then select the coupon from this other website and print from there. You may have to download a program to actually print the coupons. If so, the computer will prompt you to do this.

I didn't get to Publix until today, but the Target coupon worked because it was

for 42 ct or larger and the container was 42 ct. So I paid $2.50 for the

Cottonelle plus got my free wipes to boot. Win-win YEA!

Went to Publix in Hixson, TN last night and for the first time (that i've ever noticed) they had a sign in front of the Gape Juice “Limit 2 deals per person”. That was the only sign I saw was for the juice. They had the signs at the display and on regular shelf. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up if you were planning on stocking up on juice.

Also they had the 6 packs of 12ounce bottles of coke products for $3.99 buy two get one free and then on the package was a $1.00 off coupon. So i ended up getting them for $1.66 each.

That would be 4 bottles of juice since the deal is buy one get one free, so you have to get 2 to get the deal. FYI. I've seen this in fine print many times and never had an issue with it.

Can you use both rebates for the DVD? I'm guessing no, but wanted to know if anyone else has tried yet. Also, there are coupons for the rebate products that I found in the coupon database:

I think the Campbell's printable specifies not for condensed so you can't use for rebate. I couldn't find the store mag there. I have read that Rayovac only needs receipt copy and not original so up to you if you try to get $1/3 for condensed

I noticed there were some other comments about the Toy Story 3 movie. I was very upset to go in yesterday (first day for the flyer) and found out that they did not have the movie. The manager told me that they sold out the day before with people using the $5 coupon off the original $19.99. She told me that the store only received 12 movies plus 2 blu-ray combos. She even called two other stores for me, with no luck. So, they didn't have any movies for this weeks sale flyer. I was just a little frustrated. So, I asked if they would substitute the blu-ray combo for the sale price of $9.99. And they did. I just don't understand why they would not stock up for a sale. But, they did make me very happy.

We went the other day, the last day for that particular green advantage deals, and were going to use the last of our Phazyme, Sominex, Vivarin coupons as they were money makers. Well, not surprisingly they were out of all 3. My husband went to the CS desk and asked if they could find out if there was any in the back. They got to talking about it and the woman said that she would just sign his coupons so he could use them when the items were back in stock. Haven't been back to use them yet, but I'm doubting it will be a problem. Granted, this was at my store and may not apply to yours, plus it was because they were out of stock on the items we wanted. Just fyi.

I Live in Ga, printed all the coupons showing above. Went to Publix and was told the ad expired last week Wed 11/03. Online Publix ad is showing a different ad too.

I am confused how all this works, can someone please explain?

what day did you go shopping? are you sure it was not your list from last week? i am not criticizing just trying to understand how things got so out of sorts for you. in some areas that ads are off by a day, my ad starts on wednesday but some areas start on thursdays. also sometimes (not a lot) jennys ad will show an item on sale and it will not be where i live, so i sometimes will get my list and coupons together from southern savers and then just pop over to the publix website and put in my information to pull the ad from my area just to double check so i do not get there and find that what i am looking for is not on sale. hope this helps some!

Yes, I agree with millie. I do the exact thing after being burned by assuming what is on Jenny's list is not on sale at my Publix. I do the same thing by going on Publix's website and seeing what is on sale in my area and adjust accordingly. Good Luck!

How frustrating! The publix stores in GA stagger their sale dates….some counties have the sale Wed thru Tues and other counties have the sale Thurs thru Wed. You might want to go to the publix website and find which day your publix starts thier ad.

You are not alone!!! I did the same thing when I started couponing, I pulled the list and q's on Tuesday and went to the store on Friday. I was so embarrassed. LOL That is when I learned that they ( and Winn-Dixie) start their sales on Wednesday in my area of GA. With all the ads in the Sunday paper, I just assumed that all stores ran their sales Sun thru Sat.

If you have another major grocery store chain in your area, you will probably be able to use the q's you just printed on sale items at one of them in the next few weeks.

This was probably my best Publix shopping week since I started couponing about a month ago. My husband went with me and kept telling me I didn't have enough money to buy everything in my cart. I showed him….the total was $34.64. I saved over $40.00. Thanks Jenny!!!!

you can print your shopping list at one time but you can't print the coupons because they come from different websites. If the printable coupon is still available (sometimes they run out), you'll have to print each one individually.

target has changed their deli and bakery coupon to read for Archer farms or Market pantry does this affect it's use at publix or other stores that take competitor coupons

Dollar General has a coupon for the Welch's juice. Its a store coupon that I stacked with a man coupon and the B1G1 deal. I got four bottles of juice for about 12 cents a piece. There is a dollar general in my area and my publix apparently considers them a competitor…I have used DG store coupons in there several times with no problems.. Just FYI.

Let me know if I am wrong, but I feel like in order to get the best deals, you have to change what you buy to some degree. My husband and I tend to buy healthier items, and normally they aren't the items on sale. Do you find that you're buying items you wouldn't normally buy because of the deals?

I think a lot of people get 60-80% savings because they buy a lot of (in my opinion) junk food. Every week there's so much boxed stuff that I would never eat because I want to eat healthy. That's why some weeks I barely buy any of the sale items and other weeks I'm getting a cart full of food because I need to buy enough to last until the next sale. But don't give up, when you see the item you want on sale, just stock up. It will seem like you're over buying at first but you'll begin to see real savings once you've got a stock pile of healthy foods that you bought at rock bottom prices. HTH

Yes, when I first started couponing I bought the food items that were the 'best deals.' I realized over time that I would rather save 50% and get healthier items as opposed to saving 80% and get processed items. In the end I think it all depends on your circumstance.

A lot of the deals come from doubling coupons. If you live in Florida, like I do, you can't double. Also, major savings come from stocking up; if you are doing regular shopping, you can still get good savings but not like some other people. Don't give up! It takes some time, but it really can be surprising sometimes at the register how much you have saved :)

Yes, I agree! I have been doing this since early September, and I'm just starting reap the benefits of my stockpiling. I'm in Florida like crdesiato, and I agree our savings just aren't as stellar. I'm probably never going to pay $1.00 for $100 worth of groceries like some people report, but I am still consistently saving around 60% at least.

Don't give up! I felt like you not too long ago, and then I had a really awesome trip to Publix where I saved way more than I ever had before and it renewed my resolve. I just know that'll happen for you too very soon, and you'll realize that you CAN do this!

Do not get discouraged because of people coming on here saying they bought $100 for $1…. because if you are buying fresh fruit or meat or milk, you aren't going to see those savings. I have bought huge amounts of groceries for hardly anything but they are all the sale items that I have multiple coupons for and usually are not healthy options and I can't buy anything that I normally use and pay $1. You can't get meat, milk, and fresh fruits and vegetables and not pay something, the deals on those are just not as good. I am not saying that it can't be done but it isn't going to happen very often. It also depends what competitor coupons you can use. When my publix took Rite Aid and I could use the $5 off $25 I could usually get some meat or fruit and be able to check out paying almost nothing, but they stopped taking any $off order coupons from competitors this summer and won't take any Rite Aid. So just hang in there and you will see the savings are well worth the time.

I was recently told that you can't use a competitor coupon along with a store coupon. You can stack manufacturer's coupons with store coupons *or* manufacturer's coupons with competitor coupons, but that's it. I searched around online and found where someone stated that this is a part of their coupon policy.

Publix SC has an in-store coupon for $2.00 off Marie Callender's Steamers or Pot pies. This alone makes each purchase .50 cents. Or used with any appropriate coupon…it could be a money back transaction.

I went to the Publix in Lexington, SC and was so disappointed to find out that they said they are no longer accepting Target prinatables due to fraud. Does anyone else have this problem? It was not posted anywhere and is not on the website. I ended up putting back the majority of the purchases I was making bc I was not going to buy them otherwise. Any suggestions? This is also a new policy apparently.

Ok, fellow couponers. I have a “concern” regarding Publix. I LOVE them as they treat their customers as A #1! But lately I experienced something I'm concerned about. The past few weeks I've had to go to customer service for a raincheck and though it is a bothersome it is necessary. However, my Publix has a “corporate” policy now where they have to call the stock person to see if they have the product in the back before they issue you the raincheck. On Sunday, I had several items they did not have stocked and I had to wait for probably only 10 mins but when in a hurry it seemed like an eternity! They did have one of the items in stock and they brought it up to the customer service desk. However, it was the wrong flavor and I felt bad because I didn't tell the customer service associate which flavor and the stock person had to go back and get the one I wanted. It was very frustrating for him and for me because this took time. I spoke with the manager and he was very nice and explained why they have been told to do this. It was because some people are getting rainchecks for the sale items to get on sale for following weeks. I am wondering if any of you have had the same experience at your Publix? This one is in Dallas, Georgia (New Georgia shopping center).

This happened to me just yesterday. The managers were very nice but I ended up waiting about 10 minutes for 2 jars of Dukes mayo. I was glad to get it but I shop there each week so it's much easier to get a quick raincheck and pick it up on my next shopping trip. I'm contemplating emailing corporate about the new policy.

Well, I did. I hated to because I really like Publix. However, I wanted them aware of how the customer responds to their raincheck policy. I also email them when I'm very satisfied with their service or an employee. I also like that you don't have to use a shopper's card to get deals. The managers and associates are very nice at my Pulix.

Just back from my trip. I feel like I didn't do well because I spent $83. But $15 of that was lunch meat for my DH and I bought 4 gallons of milk so I could use 4/$1 Qs for the graham crackers. (six kids in the house so the milk is a need anyway)

The cashier was a butt. She wouldn't let me use the natures made coupons because it was for a breakfast item and not regular bread. I eat bread for breakfast. Anyone else have that problem?

Also had a issue with my rain check from last weeks pasta. I guess she got tired of entering it after 4 boxes and charged full price for the last 3. So I had to bring all the kids back into the store to get it fixed.

She wasn't going to let me use the $1 off Nabisco Cookie with the purchase of 1 gallon of milk because she said Graham Crackers weren't cookies. But I was also using a Target Q that said $1 off 2 Nabisco Cookies and it had a picture of the Graham Crackers on it. So I asked her to please ask the manager, she did and it was fine. Yay!

My last problem(this is my 5 week doing this and my first time encountering problems) was that I was getting a nyquil/dayquil travel size(publix price of 1.39) using a coupon that was $1.50 off 1. She changed the price of the Q to the price of the product. I thought publix allowed overage? I even checked with the customer service gal when I was getting my rain check fixed and she said no overage.

So does Publix allow overage or not? All my BOGO pasta had overage and those Q came off the right way.

YES, Publix allows overage,I would call corporate and complain! I just went and my bill was 89.00 and after q's, I paid 2.62.! I can use my coupons and they take Target, Walgreens, CVS, and even Costco q's!

My Publix has always allowed overage. That's why I loved the Phazyme, Sominex, Vivarin money maker. Between my 3 home computers and my husband's computer at work, that paid for a good bit of my groceries for a bit. As for the Nature's Own coupon, the 1st time the cashier didn't even bat an eye (I had lots of groceries and several coupons though). Last night I only had a few things and only a couple of coupons, one for free Barilla Plus pasta and the Nature's Own coupon. The cashier looked at the coupon, looked over at my bread, thought for a second, and she must have decided to let me use it because she scanned it without saying anything. All of my stores around here seem to be really good about accepting coupons though – especially compared to a lot of stories I've heard on here.

OK, I am sooo ridiculously tired of the AJC's inserts not including the items that I want. I only wanted two things this week, Sabra hummus, and College Inn broth (both supposed to be in the 9/19 inserts). NEITHER item was included! The inserts are gigantic, but full of a bunch of garbage. This is about the 100th time this has happened to me. I can't be posting to trade coupons and expect them to be here by the time the ad is over.
