Win prizes all week from Thirty-One, Origami Owl and more in the Southern Savers Work From Home giveaway bash.

Today we’re taking a look at Origami Owl.  This is Jessica’s story who is an independent designer for Origami Owl.

The company started back in 2010 when 14-year-old Bella had a dream of buying a car for her 16th birthday.  Her parents told her to start saving her money, so she began selling customizable jewelry to family and friends, and now Origami Owl is sweeping the nation. Origami Owl has thousands of Independent Designers who host jewelry parties, selling jewelry that tells a personal story about the person who buys it.  The concept is simple, but the results are gorgeous.  You choose the charms that tell your personal story, then choose from an assortment of beautiful lockets, and then select a chain.  You can even customize your piece further with fashionable plates and dangles. One of great things about this concept is that you can update it to keep it uniquely you! So when you change, so can your locket. It also comes packaged in a super cute box that looks like Chinese takeout. You also get a fabric fortune cookie box to store it in. It’s great for gift giving!

Bella was recently seen on Good Morning America and in October Inc. Magazine for the Hire Power Award recognizing Origami Owl as #35 on the list of top 100 job creators in the US.Origami Owl

Origami Owl’s mission is to be a force for good; to love, inspire + Motivate people of all ages to reach their dreams + Empower them to make a difference in the lives of others. Origami Owl is a customizable jewelry company that helps you tell your own personal story to show off your personal style with jewelry.

Jessica’s Story:

She graduated from college in May of 2012 when she was 3.5 months pregnant and not hopeful to find a job in that condition.  She stayed at home and they “survived” on her husband’s income alone, but she knew that a little more money coming in would definitely help out.  A year after graduating, her aunt showed her a locket she had made and Jessica fell in love with it.  She immediately went online to sign up to sell Origami Owl.  At the time there was a waiting list for new designers, so she waited for 2 months and finally received an invitation to join.  Jessica says that it was the best decision of her life.  She can stay at home with her son and still contribute financially to their family goals.  The good news is that the wait list is over!  When you join you can immediately start working your Origami Owl business.
