Yee Haw!!!! I have never done this so far but I can’t wait for my first Bloom triples weekend! Thank you for the heads up.

    • MelRae

Hey Jenny! Would you mind posting the coupons that you plan to take to Bloom/HT to have tripled? I mean, maybe just point out some of the really awesome coupons that, if tripled, would amount to pennies or even free!

I have done the triple coupon thing at HT before. I have gotten some good deals. But now that I am reading Southern Savers, I feel like I am getting great deals every week!

    • Jenny

I can try. We don’t have either of these stores in Columbia but I can give ideas from some of the coupons that are out there.

    • Do you know where the best place to find blinkies and tearpads are here in SC? Which stores, etc?

    • Kim

Hey! Jenny just wanted to say thanks for the work you put into helping me save loads of money and time thinking! I just discovered your website a few months ago and have shared it with lots of family and friends. We all LOVE it! Is there such a thing as “coupon gruppies?!” :)

I didn’t realize you were from Columbia. I am originally from Irmo. So you might bump into some of my family at Publix or Kroger!

      Thanks Again!

    • Katie

What is he maximum face value for triple coupons at Bloom? Thanks for helping us all save lots of money!

    • Jenny

Just added that above. Did some searching and it is any coupon up to .99 cents. The best you are probably going to find are .75 cent coupons for this but it is still great.

    • Courtney

FYI- Harris Teeter will double (or triple) IP’s. You may want to check out their updated coupon policy for the details.

    • MelRae

Clipper Girl has a great list of coupon matchups here:

I have gotten spoiled to not wanting to pay more than $1 for anything, thanks to Jenny and other “bargain blogs” that I read. That said, if I go to Harris Teeter, I will probably be looking for deals that are less than a buck!

The prices she gives may or may not be what your particular store has, but this is a good guide.

    • Gini

My Bloom said they are not tripling this weekend. :(

    • Shannon

1st triple weekend! Does HT triple the printable coupons that clearly state “do not double or triple” at the top? This may be a stupid question but I’ve just gotta know.

    • Jenny

To my knowledge, they will double any coupon that starts with a 5 in the bar code automatically.

    • janet

My bloom isn’t tripling this weekend either.:(

    • Sasha

Harris Teeter is no longer doubling or tripling coupons that state “do not double or triple”. The cashiers have been trained to separate out the coupons that state “do not double or triple” then they call over a manager to enter them manually so they don’t automatically multiply. I had to void half my cart to remove all the items with those type of coupons. I missed two items so I’ll have to go back to return those. It doesn’t matter if its an internet or newspaper coupon. Aah so frustrating!
