Just once I wish that OfficeMax would have something good on sale so I can get rid of the darn $27 store credit that I have had for months. It was MaxPerks but I bought an item with the MaxPerks and then had to return it because it wasn’t what I needed. So, I got a store credit. I would have lost the MaxPerks long ago had I not used them. I never go to OfficeMax any more. Their prices are out of sight and they rarely if ever have a decent sale and the closest store is down the road a few miles. We have an Office Depot right here in town but no Staples, unfortunately.

Usually they have a Black Friday ad and it’s not terribly busy later in the day. The best thing would be finding something that is free (or close to it) after rebate and that will turn the credit into cash for you. Good luck!

I need printer/copier paper. This week, they have 20% off paper. So, I ordered a box of paper, applied the in-store credit and paid the difference with a credit card. I get free delivery as well so I don’t have to go down to the store. It’s not a great deal but I need paper and it uses up the store credit that I originally got for recycling some ink cartridges. I won’t make that mistake again. Sure wish we had a Staples here but we only have Office Depot.

Thursday I received multiple emails of the original three or four Staples sent out. Yesterday I got an apology email about all the emails they had sent. Plus they included a coupon for $20 off $50 that doesn’t expire for a few weeks.
Did anyone else get this email?

I had to get a new power box for my computer on Thursday and I received 12 e-mails from this. I got the apology e-mail as well.
