CVS coupons

I’m slightly biased in which drugstore I love. CVS wins hands down over the other two most weeks. One of the reasons they win is all of the store coupons that are good off large ranges of products.

Pair these awesome coupons with the weekly deals, and you’ll see just why CVS makes me giddy.

To get even more coupons sign up for the CVS weekly emails and the CVS Beauty Club.

The weeks coupons (you won’t get all of these, but hopefully will get some):

I also got 2- off sally hansen. Ended up getting 16.00 worth of cosmetics for free and earning 4 bucks in coupon overage. Used my 3 off 15, 3- off almay..i had 2 of these. two 4- almay manufacturer’s, 2- off sally, 1- off sally manufacturer. 20 dollars in coupons for 16.00 worth of cosmetics. Ended up grabbing 3 godiva carmel candy bars that were on clearance for .99 and a Nantucket Nectar drink for .99. Whole transaction was free :) Then the toothpaste, toothbrush deal with a $2 off 10 was another free deal for me. $45.00 worth of stuff this morning and paid $1.48 and got $3.50 ECB back. I love days like this.

I love CVS! I just got back from my weekly CVS trip and discovered something from which others may benefit. I’ve been a bit resistant in sending coupons to my card, but never again! Today my $10 off of $30 facial care purchase coupon automatically applied to my purchase because I sent it to my card. If I had not done this, there is no way I would have thought to use it based on what I purchased. My purchase:

      1 Colgate toothpase
      2 Dawn dish liquid
      2 Cover Girl pressed powder
      1 Cover Girl Wetslicks lipgloss
      1 Cover Girl Glosstini nailpolish
1 Almay eye makeup remover pads
      1 Almay softie eyeshadow

This included no ECB deals, nor did I use any previously earned ECBs. All of it was on sale, used CVS coupons and used manufacturer coupons, and ended up getting it all for FREE!!!! I only paid $2.25 in tax. WOW!!!!!! All because I sent a coupon to my card that otherwise I wouldn’t have used.

Thanks for sharing! How do you send coupons to your card? I haven’t been able to figure that out! I’ve just started couponing at CVS and still have a lot to learn. Thanks!

        • Jennifer

I started couponing at CVS end of last year and I’m still learning! :) Have you created a CVS.com account? If not, you need to do so and then link your ExtraCare card to your account. From there, click on the ExtraCare link at the top of the page. Here you will see a list of all your ExtraSavings. If a coupon is available you have not printed yet at the red box coupon center, there should be an option to send to card in the Options/Status column. Hope this helps!

When they send you an email saying you have an extra deal, such as the one above, it gives you the option to print it or to send it to the card. However, when I go to the coupon center it always prints out for me there too.

        • Never_Speechless

When you log into your CVS account online before you go to the store you will see a list of coupons that will print at the store…you can instead load everything to your card instead. I guess I will be doing that from now own and making a list!

I’m more than SLIGHTLY biased…I’ve completely stopped going to the other drug stores, but I LOVE going to CVS. They have some terrific deals and even when I have to get something not on sale, there’s usually a way to make it cheaper with the store coupons and manu. coupons…I think it’s a good balance and I get so much free/cheap stuff! Thanks for the heads up on the coupons to expect! I’m definitely hoping for the toothpaste ones as I’ve noticed my supply is dwindling quickly with friends and family dipping into it. :D

I’m new to southern savers but do know I LOVE IT. Being new though I don’t understand all if the symbols she puts out by the lists she makes like the little things that looks like a cupcake and another one that looks like an H. Could someone tell me where to go to to figure these symbols out. I haven’t found a better website than this one and want to be sure to learn everything about it. Thanks to whomever can help

      • Never_Speechless

I’ve never seen the cupcakes or H. What list’s are you talking about? I might be missing something here.

      • Brandy

I am not sure what you mean by the “H”, but I think you are talking about the acorn when you say “cupcake”. The acorn means that this is the time to stock up on this item. Hope this helps.

Can someone break down the make up deals for me? I’m still VERY new to this.
