Paris….I've never been there and it looks like one of the most beautiful places to visit!
Yesterday, we went to Publix in Hixson, TN, and found out that they really do not do “Buy one Get one Free”. When trying to use coupons for a BOGO, the manager told us that if we only purchased one of the items (normal pricing of $4.00) and did not choose the second one, the item would be half price ($2.00). In other words, the their items for BOGO are really half price items. We were using coupons which simply stated one free Fress Express Salad Kit and tried using four coupons for two sets of BOGO salad and only received credit for the total store cost of the four kits ($8.00). We were hoping that the four coupons would have given us $16.00 credit towards our purchases.

If I could travel to a place just for their art, I think I would love to go to Marrakech, Morocco. I adore everything they create: jewelry, inlaid wood (marquetry), handmade rugs and other textiles, leather goods, and on and on. I was only in Morocco once and grew tired of haggling with a seller over a handmade rug. It was hot and I was tired, so I quit haggling and did not buy it. Oh, how I regret not purchasing that beautiful handmade Berber rug from the Berber cooperative!
I would travel to Rome, Italy. I have been there once when I was younger but in hindsight missed so much of the art that Rome has to offer.

I couldn't find anything on Novica to interest the men in my life. They like quiet shirts and paintings of rustic barns. I found the idea of Novica Live very interesting although I'd like to review that dvd first and I'd probably only host one party.

I saw a special on Haiti recently. It talked about how many Haitians make art to help them through the tough times. Their art was soooo unique. Definitely not traditional. They use whatever they have around.
