I’m busy finishing up all of the gift guides for this year with fun new toys (and some classics).  I wanted to share one toy now that my household of girls love the most!  Alex Toys, a go-to name for kids crafts, has created a great kid version of the adult trend of memory lockets.

The Lil’ Lockitz Memory Studio allows kids to create a wearable collage that tells a story, with gems, backgrounds and charms of your favorite things. Let them express who they are and make something truly personal, for themselves or a friend. The Studio makes 10 reusable Lockitz. They can wear them as a necklace, bracelet or use the keychain clasps to make clip-ons!

You can buy it in local stores or online and it retails for $29.99.

Everything in the Kit: Design Studio with storage compartments, lights and music, Display Stand, Locket Tops and Backs, Necklaces, Bracelets, Keychain Clasps, Custom Charms, Backgrounds, Tweezers, Photo Stencil and Instructions. You will need 3 AA Batteries that are not included.

One thing to note: This does have small pieces so it’s recommended for 5 and up. For me that means making sure that little hands are down for a nap when we make lockitz.
