Buy more papers for the coupons and keep track of my savings for my family to see how coupons really work for us!!

    • kingdomgirls

Scan the sale papers and use my coupons more efficiently to save more than I did last year. Keep better records of my purchases so that I know what I spend a month to stay on my budget. And most importantly use energy efficient appliances like the ones you guys are giving away!

    • I am starting my own business, just had a baby, and bought our first home, so saving money is important to us. We just finished the Financial Peace University class (highly recommended) and I am now also committed to couponing. I have always been nervous about coupons but this site has given me the confidence I needed. Hopefully, I can save lots of money this year with coupons and cutting back on compulsive spending.

    • RoN C.

We are on the process of buying a home. Buying furniture and appliances are gonna be expensive. So I’m planning to start couponing on everything that i can save with. Do laundry on off peak hours. Since i have 4 kids i have to squeeze my budget with second hand toys for my kids and buying what the the most necessary ones. Definitely i will stock up for school supplies this time. School supplies are very expensive if you don’t buy it on sale price. And definitely i will be looking up the ad every week.

    • fl

I will be watching the ads more closely and getting more coupons.

    • twinkle

I have put myself (and my husband) on a budget. Even though I’ve been couponing for a year, I wasn’t actually “saving” that much money because I was spending it on shopping for other things I wanted. Now I am using Mint.com to stick to a budget each month, and I’m putting even more into my savings. I will be able to afford IVF by the end of the year.

    • Toccara

I plan to save money by only buying laundry detergent when and only when there is a sale and I have a coupon. Dry cleaning at home with dry cleaning kits will help me to save. Lastly, I plan to save by washing bigger loads to save on water. Who’s to say I can’t help others with a washer and dryer also.

      • redteapot

My thoughts too on maybe giving the washer and dryer to someone more needy than I.

    • Mona

My husband and I have discussed ways to save money for 2013. We are going to cut back on the times per week that we eat out. We will only eat out once a week on the weekends. We will try to only cook meals with items that we already have in our pantry before we going buy anymore items. I have been clipping coupons for a couple of years and I will continue to do that. I love saving Tide coupons and waiting for the Sunday inserts to come in, then I wait for Wednesdays sales. I need lots of laundry detergent because I’m expecting my first grandbaby and I’m sure my daughter will need my help washing all my new grandbaby’s clothes in my new Amana washer and dryer.

    • redteapot

We are going to save more by making my husband a lunch from home to have at work. Also I try to plan several tasks when I go out instead of many little trips to save gas.

    • As a family we have decided to give up soda and going out to eat more than once a month. The new washer and dryer would be great!!!

    • lisa

This would be huge for me, need to replace my parents W&D

    • Jacki

Fabulous prize! It’s all about efficiency and streamlining everything in 2013!

    • cheryl

To make this short and sweet I use my dryer to heat my house. I have done this for 10 or so years saves me a lot of money, and no I don’t use my furnace. Just takes a little pre planning like when we coupon. I use the dryer to bring the temperature up if below 65, my main source of heat is an air conditioning heater that plugs into the wall socket much more cost effective then my furnace.

    • Lisa

With 4 kids and a grand baby, I am constantly washing and drying clothes. I’ve never owned a new washer/dryer. Would live to have an energy saving model. What a great way to start 2013.

Saving Money, Budget, new washer and dryer yeah

    • See how many days I can spend $0. Each day that I can spend nothing at all is a day I’ve avoided impulse spending. That and using cash for groceries and learning to coupon with Southern Savers will hopefully pay for my son’s speech therapy.

    • Tera

I am going to use my coupons and try to learn more! I am new to couponing but love it! I am hoping it will continue to help save my family money.

    • james

    • jess

Yay!! We are currently looking for a used washer dryer set right now! Both of our 13 year old units bit the dust on Friday! This is great! We are saving money in 2013 shopping online for groceries to decrease impulse buying and by partnering with our local community supported agriculture system as a drop off point. Its a little more work but its eworth it to get a great discount on our fruits and veggies.

    • Maha

I am hoping to save by actually putting money in our savings account. 10% each paycheck and more if we can!

    • This year my husband and I will find jobs and get an effient washer and dryer so we can save engery with using less water and power. And also if we are blessed to get jobs we will save 5% every week. Again this willonly happen if we are blessed enought to get jobs.

    • rb

i need a new washer and dyer!!With a family of six landery addups.

    • Candice

I live in a very old house with old appliances. I would like to get energy efficient appliances to help with the high electric bills. I also hope to learn how to coupon and save. I could really use the washer and dryer. Especially since I’m pregnant with a lot of medical bills.

    • Susan white

I am a widow trying to make it alone now. I have had my washer and dryer for about 15 years or more. My washer is leaking water in the floor all the time and my dryer does not work good . I have to turn it on several times to get my clothes dry. I can not afford a new one so winning these would really help me. I could save on my water bill and my electric bill also. I hope and pray I win this.

    • Kristin

I desperately need a new, free, energy efficient washer and dryer!! My dryer has to run 2-3 cycles to get clothes dry and energy efficient appliances will definitely save. I will continue couponing this year and continue following some great money saving sites I’ve found this year (including this one).

    • I am a single parent that recently returned to work. I have to use savings to feed and clothe my family. I am matching coupons with the Sunday paper and getting online coupons. I don’t usually buy a product unless I have a coupon and on sale or it is produce. I am using the saving to provide gas and other necessaites that we must have. I have no washer and dryer currently. Thanks for considering me.

    • Coupons4us36

coupons4us36. Really would love washer and dryer

    • I’ve been washing dishes by hand since my dishwasher broke down. My washer and dryer are on their last leg and to win a replacement would save us money. Our stove also needs replacing so this would help us tremendously. We have four daughters and seem to wash nearly every day. Thanks Souther Savers!!!

    • My mother is on fixed income and in need of a new set…energy savings are definitely important to keep her costs down!

    • Suzy (Susan Payne)

This would be great to gift my son and his new wife to be for a wedding present. It would save them money with it being energy efficient. And that they are just starting off out on their own after the wedding, this would be a awesome win for our family to gift to them.

    • Fabrina Henry

I just wanted to thank you for this wonderful site. I was out of work for over a year and I am a single mom. I have always used coupons and your site has helped tremendously. I was able to keep food on my table with only a few dollars left to spare. I was even able to donate food (name brand) to a local charity! With my new job and the new year, I will continue to save money by using this website and I have replaced all my lightbulbs with led thanks to coupons!

    • To plan & organize is key! We have been stockpiling nonperishables in special buckets with oxygen absorbers to allowstorage up to 15+years of dry goods! We coupon extremely, buy what’s on sale-all of it off the shelf! Buy gifts throughout year instead of impulse holiday trips, budget purchases, take nature field trips, etc.saving cash! We pay extra each month on carloan to speed up payoff date! No credit cards-one is safe for emergencies! Bring lunch to work for hubby, We are storing compost for garden in Spring, &may buy a few chickens for eggs! Kids would love that! Finally, we do everything ourselves-no hiring others! Bring on the new washer/dryer for our four little ons!

    • My family does not currently own a dryer. We use the laundromat that is 4 miles down the road! This would save us so much money in gas and money that we spend on drying clothes for our family of four! I am crossing my fingers that i win this giveaway it would be a true blessing! Thank you so much for the opportunity to win this for my family!!

    • Pam Franks

Trying to use coupons for most purchases. It’s the New Year, so attempting to be really organized with not only coupons, but all aspects of daily life. Two new appliances would definately help with laundry chores.

    • Dmf52180

I hope to save more money by using more Internet coupons, being smarter about utility usage. I have checked out books from my library on coupons, saving money, budgeting, ect.

    • Thanks to Southern Savers I have learned to save on necessities. Out of necessity I have learned how to recyle or do without. I plan to to save more this year by learning more. I have already learned to live comfortably (even without cable tv) on 1/2 the income our family had 2 years ago. I challenge congress to live learn how to support a family of 3 on 26k/yr with a mortgage, or give us frugalers a chance to balance the budget! I’ve learned to change what I can, but there is always more to accomplish. I’ll figure it out, by listening to advice. So if anyone has advice on re-repairing a washer again or winning this prize – Bring it on.

Thanks to all for helping me learn the ropes.

    • Barbara

How am I going to save money in 2013? Actually,
the question should be: How am I going to save my married daughters and their
young families money in 2013? Each year from January 1 through December 24 I do
my grocery and drugstore shopping through your website — only buying what is
on sale, is a two-for-one, using all coupons, ECB, etc. available for the most
robust savings I can get. Throughout the year I accumulate and stash away the
products and then give them away to my daughters on Christmas Day! Imagine the
laughter and playfulness the first time they saw the dining room table full of
laundry detergents, canned tomatoes, toothpaste, Carmex products, Hamburger
Helper, black beans, dishwasher detergent, canned broth, light bulbs, etc!
Imagine their surprise the next year when we played the “draw numbers and
No. 1 chooses first” game and this time there are 100 wrapped products on the
dining room table to choose from. Yes, all wrapped!! Using your website
to save, save, save for somebody other than me has been a blast!

    • marvette

I plan to be a more consistent budgeter.

    • Kmh24slp
