We use our grill multiple times a week all year long, and pork chops are one of my favorite things to grill. Just adding salt and pepper works, and you can add a barbecue sauce after, but my favorite way to make pork chops is with a dry rub. These brown sugar pork chops are a family favorite and something we eat several times a month.
Grilled Brown Sugar Pork Chops
This is a simplified version of other dry rubs I’ve found over the years. It only has five ingredients!
I use salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and brown sugar.
Place them all in a bowl and mix them together.
Preheat your grill and oil it. I usually add the dry rub while I’m outside at the grill and make sure to wash my hands well after, but you could add the dry rub inside and let them sit for a bit before you grill them.
Place the pork chops on the grill and cook until the internal temperature is at least 165 degrees, flipping when appropriate.
You’ll know they’re done when they look as delicious as these! The combination of sweet and savory flavors in the dry rub combines for amazing flavor. We love to eat these with macaroni and cheese and a green vegetable!
