We have another update from one of the Grocery Giveaway winners! Crystal decided to take her gift card to Publix like Sandra did in our last update. Their savings stacked up pretty similarly. Proving that Publix is a great place to coupon!
I spent $40.32 the first trip. With a savings of $25.02 or 38%, I was a little disappointed because they wouldn’t take my 3 Target coupons; I was also looking for peelie coupons on several products and couldn’t find them. Here’s the list from my first trip with coupons in parenthesis:
2 Rice Krispies cereals, 9oz ($1/2)
2 Barilla pasta
1 Nutella
2 Carnation Evaporated Milk ($.50/2)
1 Pomegranate ($.50/1)
1 pomegranate POM Juice ($.50/1)
1 Dominos brown Sugar ($.50/2)
1 Dominos confectioners sugar

1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch ($.50/1)
1 Tang Drink mix ($.50/1)
Here’s the info from my second trip:
I spent $8.96 for a savings of 78%. That was more like it!
1 gallon milk (up to $4.00 off)
2 Kelloggs Krave cereal (2 $.50/1)
1 Kelloggs Corn pops (.$50/1)

1 Palmolive dish soap ($.25/1)
2 Kraft Fresh Take (2 $.99/1)

I ended up with $.72 left on my gift card which I used on my next trip. If I add my totals together, I spent $49.28 for products valued at $106.05. I saved $56.77 in coupons and store sales for a 54% savings. Thank you so much for the gift card and the fun!
Check back next week when we run a new giveaway for more grocery money! Remember the only catch to your free groceries is that you have to share how much you saved!
