 home depot

Looking for something fun for your kids to do on a Saturday morning? Home Depot offers FREE kids workshops on the first Saturday of every month where your child can learn how to build a fun project.

The next workshop will be held on April 5th at 9:00 AM and participants will build a birdbath/birdfeeder based on the movie Rio 2. The workshop in May will be held on May 3rd and participants will build a flower planter.

The fun thing about these workshops (besides them being FREE) is that your child will get to keep his or her project and will also receive a certificate of achievement, a workshop apron, and a commemorative pin.

Home Depot prefers that you register online for each event. Workshops are designed for children ages 5-12.

Heads up: Lowes also offers free workshops.  They will have their next Build & Grow event on April 12th.  Register your kiddos now.
