Has anyone actually tried to make money from Inbox Dollars? I do not mean make enough to pay bills, but make enough to cash out? I have had an account with them for a while- while I do not go on it everyday, I imagine it would take months to acutally cash out… that is if you did go on EVERYDAY. Anyone have a different experience? I love to use websites like e-rewards, swagbucks, CHACHA (I answer live questions), inboxdollars, and others to make money for Christmas. I know that sounds crazy, but I find that if I use those websites all year long, and shop all year long I do great. My husband and I have four children under four, so we try to be mindful of our spending for big holidays (any everyday). I suppose if I were not limited to only using the internet during naptime I may be able to make more money… I'll talk to my boss :)

I am already a member of inbox dollars, so be prepared to get lots of emails each and every day from them and their affiliates. It takes a really long time to get to $30 and when you do it can take weeks to get the money. If you don't stay active until your check is in your hand then they will not pay out.
They pay very little for things that do not cost you money. You get like a penny for reading a email and you will spend a lot of time on surveys to either be disqualified or only be paid a few dollars for 20 minutes of your time.

My kids- When I do have a little extra cash(which isn't often at all lol) I love to take my kids and let them pick out what we'll have for dinner like the main dish,side dishes, dessert. Well, I signed up and received the $5.00. But when I added the toolbar it didn't give me the $1.00. And when I did a survey for $8 it wanted a credit card number. And when I finished another survey (that took 15 minutes) it didn't give me the $2.50. So I won't do this again. All they got from me was a bunch of my information – address, phone, birthdate, etc.

It just depends on what I need at the moment. I don't feel like I ever splurge really. It's tough to splurge when you have to replace everything at once (which is where we're at right now). When it rains, it pours, right? lol

If I have extra money I usually spend it on my son but in this case I would spend it on underwear! It's something you have to have but very rarely ever a top top priority. Some go without buying until they are falling apart :)

I like to splurge on something little for our house. Most of our decor came from clearance sections, thrift stores, or yard sales with a little elbow grease. We love what we have, but we still have a lot of empty walls.

I have been couponing for a few months now. I am a newly wed trying to save every dime possible to get a bigger house and have a baby. I work 2 full time jobs and my husband holds down one as well, but its all going into savings. We would love to take one last trip, to Puerto Rico, before we try for a baby. So if we do manage to get some extra cash, it will be for our “last” getaway!
