This was the same price I paid for it back in October, plus I went through Ebates and got cashback.  Got it early while I could for my 6 yr old for her Christmas present.
For those looking for bday presents for little ones, this would be great.  My daughter loves hers……..and so do all the other little girls who come over for play dates :-)

Be careful, though.. From my understanding, it does not come with aps, and you have to buy them for $20 or so a piece. I almost got it, but after reading the reviews, it might be cheaper to get an ipad. (Not really…) :)

We love ours — if you are on the fence about getting one, go for it while it’s on sale.  This is the best price I’ve seen.  It’s well worth it.

We had been looking for one of these for our 5 year old’s birthday today. They were sold out everywhere, we even tried Ebay and the prices were totally jacked up. Thank you SO much, Jenny! We really appreciate you and all of your hard work!

Does anyone know if this would be at all suitable for a 2 year old boy?  We have a tablet that he likes playing with now—and we were thinking about getting him something like this, but aren’t sure.  I know he wouldn’t be able to use all the features just yet, but like that this is more “kid” friendly than our “grown-up” tablet.

      • My 3 year old loves it.  I have seen others say that younger kids also enjoyed it.  He may not fully get all the games, but there are lots of simple games on them he could probably do without a problem.

My daughter turned 2 in September and she looooves her leap pad. She can turn it on by herself, find the paint icon, and paint whatever her little heart desires. She knows how to navigate it pretty well. Her favorites are the painting, pet pad and the videos we’ve loaded onto it. I would highly recommend this product.

This seems like a good deal but with our daughter being only 17 months old, it would be a long time until she can properly use it!
