I love baking during the holiday season and giving cookies away to friends and family. These M&M sprinkle cookies are festive because they call for the red and green candies and Christmas sprinkles, but you could use any kind of M&Ms, add in chocolate chips as well, or change up the sprinkles. Peanut butter M&Ms are my favorite flavor, so maybe I need to try those! My favorite thing to do with cookies during the holidays is make several different kinds over several weeks, freeze them, and then make variety boxes of cookies to give away.
M&M Sprinkle Cookies Recipe
You’ll need all the basic cookie ingredients for this recipe, plus the mix-ins!

Start by creaming together the butter and both sugars.

After they’re creamed together, add the egg and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, stir together your dry ingredients.

Then slowly add that to the wet mixture.

Now add the mix-ins! I used red and green M&Ms and sprinkles.

Make sure they’re mixed in well so you don’t have any cookies without the mix-ins!

Place them on a parchment-paper lined baking sheet. I made each cookie with a heaping tablespoon of dough.

Bake for about 10 minutes until the edges are completely set.

These are so festive and freeze great, so you can make a big batch and give them away throughout the holiday season!
