I think everyone in the US should be shopping the drugstore deals!  To help encourage you I’m trying to get into the habit of sharing my weekly trips, exactly what I bought and the coupons used.

This week I grabbed a few deals, plus one thing we needed (it was on sale at least).  The joy of the drugstore deals though is that you have rewards to help pay for things you need.  Overall you are getting freebies but you’re also saving money out of pocket on other items!

This week… Total spent in real money was $5.04 plus I left with $10 in rewards for next week’s deals.

Here’s what I grabbed:

Bought:
(1) Kleenex Tissues, 2 pack, $5
(1) Scott ComfortPlus Bath Tissue, 12 rolls, $5
(2) Tom’s Kids Toothpaste, $4.99
(1) Blue Bell Ice Cream, half gallon, $5.49
(1) Thinsters Cookies, 35¢ (clearance)

(2) -$1 off Tom’s of Maine Children’s Toothpaste, any, Ibotta mobile app

Bought:
(2) Oral-B Toothbrushes, $3 ea.
(1) Crest Sensitivity Toothpaste, 6 oz, $4
Used:
-$5/3 Crest or Oral-B Select Varieties, Walgreens eCoupon
Total Due: $5
Get Back: $5 Register Reward

Two notes:
First, I could have paid with e $5 Walgreens Cash on the second transaction, but had a moment of forgetting that it was a register reward deal.

Second, I would normally not purchase ice cream in Walgreens, but I needed ice cream for a kiddo that was getting 4 teeth pulled the next morning.  I could leave Walgreens and pay the same amount at the grocery store, or could buy it here and pay with rewards.  This way means paying with pretend money!!
