back to school

Looking for a great way to support the military and their families? Operation Homefront is partnering with Dollar Tree to launch the 2014 Back-to-School Brigade!

This is where school supplies and backpacks are donated to military children of Deployed, Wounded, and Active Duty Service Members. If you would like to donate supplies, you can purchase supplies at a Dollar Tree store and place your items in a collection box located in each store.

If you prefer to give a monetary donation, you can learn more here. Check out the current deals on the Dollar Tree list!

If you would like to receive school supplies or backpacks, they are available on a first come, first serve basis and registration is required.   Head over here to find the closest Operation Homefront chapter near you. Note that not all locations have started the registration process so check back often if yours has not.

Note:  You can really grab items at any store and take them to your Dollar Tree to donate.  There are also lots of other places around town collecting items too!  Please consider grabbing at least the 1¢ and 10¢ items!!
