A new month is here, and that means we still have to keep making dinner for the people in our home. I’ve been loving simple meals that are balanced and nutritious, without having to get a lot of dishes dirty. We’ve also started using our grill more since the weather has been nicer down here in the South. This month we’re still going to do some soups, but I also am looking forward to some salads and other lighter dishes!
Southern Savers FREE April 2023 Monthly Meal Plan
You may see side dishes or meal accompaniments you don’t like on this plan. If so, don’t worry! Substitute whatever your family will eat. There are also several low carb options on the meal plan. If you’re OK with more carbs, you could add rice, potatoes or pasta to the meal. This is not meant to tie you to a specific way of cooking—it’s to help take some of the decisions out of it!

Did you know that every area and paper gets different coupons in their inserts?
This is one of the biggest things that can frustrate couponers — we all want the great coupons but sometimes only a few select areas get them. Each week volunteers send in insert variation lists to show exactly what coupons were in their papers. I take these and put them into the coupon database. In turn you can then have shopping lists that only show the coupons in your area! Take a look at the coupon insert variations for 03/26, below.
Click on your newspaper to see which coupons you actually received.
If your paper is not covered and you’re interested in helping, feel free to email me at jenny@southernsavers.com for directions. I promise it’s easy!
As volunteers send me their lists I will continue to update this list.
A legend for the list:
Black = You got this coupon!
Red = Not in this insert
Blue = A change in value, or a new coupon not in the preview.
