Did you know that every area and paper gets different coupons in their inserts?
This is one of the biggest things that can frustrate couponers… we all want the great coupons but sometimes only a few select areas get them. Each week volunteers send in insert variation lists to show exactly what coupons were in their papers. I take these and put them into the coupon database. In turn you can then have shopping lists that only show the coupons in your area! Take a look at the coupon insert variations for 12/06, below.

Unlike most items, baking supplies don’t follow a typical 6-12 week sale cycle. They are really only on sale during the Thanksgiving-Christmas season and then again around Easter time.
Stocking up on baking and pantry supplies when they are on sale is the single easiest thing you can do to save money. I know many of you plan out menus meticulously each week, and while that works most of the time, sometimes it’s nice just to throw something together, too.
I’m not saying to go out and buy 100 pounds of flour, but if you do a lot of baking, you want to finish getting your pantry stocked this week. Think about how much sugar, flour, butter, baking powder and other key items you’ll need over the 4 months until the next deals are available. Seize the opportunity to stock your pantry and cross those items off your list at a fraction of their normal cost!
