We were supposed to have two fun freebies on March 19th and as of today they are both postponed.
While the first day of spring normally means a fun freebie from Rita’s… they announced today that they are postponing their free treats on 3/19.
Dairy Queen has also followed suit and postponed their free cone day. This is a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network and great cause, so they do plan on holding it later.
I’ll give you a heads up as soon as we hear the new day for the events (maybe they’ll just go with the first day of summer).

I really believe the Southern Savers community is one of the best online, and so I always love to pose questions I get to all of you and see what you think. One reader wrote in and asked what sources of financial advice I would recommend other than Dave Ramsey. I do have ideas, but I loved seeing all the responses. Instead of sharing direct quotes like I usually do on these questions, I used your responses to compile a long list of what you all think are the best financial resources.
