Every year toy manufacturers release thousands of new toys to the market just in time for the holidays. Wading through that and figuring out what to get can be tricky. We want to get a great deal, but we also want a gift that will be loved and enjoyed.

B. Toys Teepee Tent, Rodeo Riders, & Train Set

We have alwways loved B. Toys! They make incredibly durable toys that last through many kids. Even toys like a bouncing hippo we got 3+ years ago are still bouncing strong! This year their new additions are the Teepee Tent, Rodeo Riders and Critter Express Train set. Prices are around $30-$35 for each one. These toys include a range of ages, I would say as young as 12 months for the rodeo rider and train and as old as you can fit for the tent! I’ve crawled in ours for story time…
Phil the Fridge

A fun game for kids 4+, try to fill up Phil the fridge with your groceries while he spins. Phil randomly pops open his door open and spills out pieces to keep the game challenging. You can choose the speed of the game to set various difficulty levels depending on age of players. Good for 2-4 players.

So many folks pass by fresh cranberries not thinking of all the ways they could use them. This week they are super cheap, so it’s the perfect time to grab a bag and make these sweet and tangy muffins. You’ll never want to go back to blueberry muffins again…
These are made using Country Crock Baking Sticks. All week I’ve shared a few of our families favorite recipes to make with Baking Sticks, and this one is by far my favorite! I will fight people for the last muffin and I’m known for sneaking extra cranberries into some just for me. Another option for traditionalist is this great Blueberry Muffin recipe from Country Crock.
If you’ve never used Country Crock Baking Sticks they can replace butter in any recipe one for one. Switching from butter we’ve cut a chunk out of our baking budget. To compare the two, you can get Baking Sticks for $1.59 a pound a Publix after a $1 off coupon, vs. butter that is never cheaper than $3 a pound! I challenge you to even spot a difference in the end… no one in my house can.

Soft Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup fresh cranberries
- 8 tbsp sugar
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2-1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup Country Crock Baking Sticks
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Cut fresh cranberries into quarters. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar; set aside.
- Sift remaining 6 tbsp of sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
- In separate bowl, mix egg, milk and oil. Beat until well blended.
- Make a hole in center of dry ingredients; pour in liquid ingredients. Stir together until moistened. Do not over mix.
- Fold in berries.
- Fill 12 greased or lined muffin cups.
- Bake for 18 minutes, until tops are golden brown.

The super fun CVS Black Friday week deals start tomorrow, and to make the deals even more fun you want to go and load any of the store coupons to your card now that you want. If you aren’t paperless (meaning your store coupons print at the coupon center… then I guess you need to run into CVS tonight just to print your coupons).
CVS store coupons are all set to expire at the end of the week, but really the day you load them their expiration date resets to be 7 days from that day. Any you load today will be good for the entire Black Friday Ad!! It’s rare for CVS to put out a lot of coupons next week, so you want to go in with as many as you can.
