We spent a few days on the road this past week enjoying a tiny town Alabama road trip. I was teaching a workshop, but decided that we couldn’t handle 8 hours in the car on Friday with a return on Saturday so we broke it up over a couple days. In spite of travels I did manage to lose this week!!

Current Weight: 179.5
Goal Weight: 165
I know it’s just a pound, but it’s one that I had to fight for everyday! This has been a tough plateau and I’m considering it over either. We need another week or two of progress before I consider this plateau battle over.
Traveling a lot can be rough on a diet, especially when the stop for dinner is voted to be Steak & Shake…
Rule #1 for dieting on the road, don’t stop at Steak & Shake.
Rule #2 – never order fries. They are painful once you track those calories!
Rule #3 – stay away from soft drinks unless you go diet.

This coupon has reset which makes it an exciting day for anyone still in diaper land!! Pampers has released two new $3 off Pampers Diapers coupons that are good on all size packages (except trial/travel sizes).

You probably know by now that I’m not a binder girl. I keep all my inserts whole and cut only the coupons I need for each trip we make. This is a massive time and sanity saver, but can have one problem… you end up with months of inserts and never quite know when to throw them away.
Here’s a super easy tip for you:
Use the Coupon Database!
All you need to do is head over and type in the name of your insert and the date. The database will only show you the coupons that are still good in that insert. So if it returns no coupons – everything is expired.
Many times it will return 3 or 4 coupons left, I will decide quickly if they are even brands I want. If so then cut the few that are left and put those in a coupon organizer (you have to use something with a binder to keep lose coupons you find in the store anyway).

PG = Procter & Gamble
Note: For the dates, we always enter two digit days. So June 5th would be 6/05.
