This isn’t the typical deal I share, but with Hurricane season a week away and weather folks calling for this to be worst season we’ve seen in a number of years… this is the ideal time to take advantage of a huge sale at Cabela’s.

A 3500 watt generator will power a few appliances, but not the whole house. For most of us we only need the basics in an emergency, and having some power will make a big difference. The unit can run for 10 hours on half power with one tank of gas (it has a 4 gallon tank).
We have a generator that we bought when we moved to the country. During the flooding in our area last October we had no power for 3 days which without a generator would have meant no water too (we are on a well). It was one of the biggest “I love my husband” moments I’ve had recently. He was the one that thought through what we would need so he gets all the credit.
