The penny pinching part of me hates to leave traces of baby food behind in the jar. Sometimes it’s even less than a spoonful and I’m stuck trying to figure out how to put that food to good use. Here’s a DIY teething project to help you get the most out of your baby food jars.
Here’s how:
If you don’t already have a baby medicine syringe, grab one like this.
Pull the leftover baby food from the jar and into the syringe (the syringe is just a way to get every last drop of the food).
Cut a piece of wax paper and put it on top of a cookie sheet.
Squirt dots of baby food from the syringe and onto the cookie sheet and place it in the freezer.
Once the baby food dots are frozen, you can pick them out of the freezer and give them to your baby when they’re teething. They’ll love gnawing on something cold and tasty. Think of these like the frozen yogurt dots we’ve all seen floating around Pinterest.
