One thing I love about Frugal Date Friday is the opportunity to serve others together! This week we are going to serve others and spend time with friends.
We are going to make dinner for another person, family, or couple, take it to their house and enjoy it with them. Try to pick someone who could really benefit from having a meal made for them. This could be a new mom, someone undergoing treatments, or an elderly couple who isn’t able to get out much.
This is a great way to encourage them and provide a basic need. Be sure to ask about dietary restrictions before deciding what you’re going to make. If you don’t feel comfortable cooking or don’t have time, you could pick up a rotisserie chicken and sides up from the store.
To make life easy, bring along paper products to eliminate most dishes. While you’re eating, you can ask them questions about themselves. This is a great chance to hear their stories, share your stories, and build friendship.

You can save a lot of money by printing coupons, but the costs can add up! Besides getting paper on sale at office supply stores and investing in a great printer, there is a great little trick to help you get the most from your paper.
They key is to match how many coupons you print with how many will print on the page. It varies from site to site, so here is the breakdown.

So, next time you see a coupon you want to print, go ahead and pick a couple more.
Follow this formula to get awesome savings and save paper! Don’t forget that you can print your favorite coupons twice per computer too.
Need a better printer? I highly recommend the Brother HL-2240. It goes on sale for around $60 and is the best printer for printing coupons. Think: you can print 750-1,000 pages for around $12!
