Want to give (or get) something unique for Mother’s day? One of my favorite places to shop for original and handmade gifts is Bellechic. They are a daily deal site of Etsy artists from around the US. This is a fun way to get a deal on something special and help out other work at home mama’s at the same time!
This weekend BelleChic is offering us a special coupon code. Use MOM and save an extra $1 on any deal you grab.
Here are some of the deals I love:
Designs for both of these necklaces start at $18.99 (after the coupon). I have one of the Beth Quinn Affirmational necklaces and get tons of folks asking where it’s from. We’ll here ya go!
Grab personalized mirrors for $2.99 after the coupon or the purse organizer for $4.99 (reg. $30). Both come in a number of different colors.
I also have the purse organizer and LOVE it. Many times I end up taking it out my purse and just using it as a purse. It makes it super easy to switch from one purse to another too.
Note that the customized necklaces and organizer won’t probably arrive until the day after Mother’s Day.

Curious how much you are saving over all your trips? Have you checked out the Savings Tracker that is built into your Southern Savers account?
Grab your old receipts and start to enter your savings from each trip. You’ll be able to see how much of your savings was from coupons and sales. It will keep track of your over all savings, plus your savings at each store individually.
Why might you want to track?
This is like tracking weight loss on a diet. It’s a great way to stay motivated! It’s also an excellent way to get other family members on board. Showing yourself and them just how much your efforts are saving helps to relieve frustrations on a day that the trip takes longer, or the cashier was a tad rude. You know it’s worth it, but now you have a way to validate what you already knew.
A Few Tips:
- Always factor in the store savings from sale prices. You took the time to make sure you bought an item at the right price, and it is a huge part of your savings.
- If your receipt doesn’t show totals for coupons or sales then enter as best you can. Spending hours to figure out the math on the receipt is a little counter productive. Food Lion and Target receipts can be the trickiest.
- If total saved is there but not coupons/sales, then just enter that total into one box in the tracker and don’t worry about breaking them out.
- To be able to use the Savings Tracker you need to register for an account. It’s free and the only way to have the system remember your data.
Want to Track More?
Like most things on Southern Savers, I’m always up for making them better. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see the tracker do feel free to email me at jenny@southernsavers. I have plans of things to add already, but don’t mind adding even more!
Other Features To Check Out:
Item Search – Find a sale on exactly the items you need
Customized Shopping Lists – Showing only coupons for your area
Southern Savers App – everything all in one
