Angie lives in the Memphis area and has been a Thirty-One consultant since May 2013.  She became a Thirty-One consultant because her friend from church was carrying a large utility tote one Sunday.  She loved it so much, and decided she wanted to get one.  When she was looking at a catalog, Angie realized she could become a consultant for $99 and would get $300 worth of products in the enrollment kit (the picture above) including the large utility tote!

As a consultant, you receive 25% commission.  There are often incentives going on where you can earn free products, bonuses, business supplies and discounts to the national conference held in the summer.  The first 120 days, there is a program called smartswell, where you receive $100-200 worth of products and business supplies per thirty day period if you sell $600 or more in each 30 day period.  The average party is $600.  This helps your business get off to a great start.

Customers can have parties, internet parties, catalog parties, or simply place retail orders.  $200 in sales qualifies as a party and entitles the hostess to great hostess benefits including free items, half price items and discounted items only available to hostesses.  Other costs include $12.95 a month to maintain a website, the first three months are free.  To be considered an active consultant, you must have $200 in sales in a rolling three month period.
