If you’re like me, you probably have your fair share of pot holders. These holders can certainly come in handy while cooking or even to place on a table for hot food, but they can also be used in other places around the house too.
Fold a pot holder in half and sew the edges, and you can now have a great way to pack your flat iron, curling iron, etc even when they are still hot!
These flat iron cases at retail can get pricey so this is just another great way to save and use what you already have around the house!

Doing your own taxes this year? Check out some FREE tax filing programs that are available. It requires a little time and effort, but its an easy way to save over paying a professional.
If this seems like a daunting task remember, you can always try to do them yourself and enlist the help of someone else if needed. It’s really a lot easier than it seems. The programs will walk you through step by step.
Keep in mind, it usually cost extra to E-File for your state taxes, but many programs also give you the option to print out your return and mail it in for FREE.
For simple taxes, the free software should be enough. If you have deductions, such as large medical expenses, it will probably be worth it to use a more advanced program.

Each week volunteers send in their insert lists so to show exactly what came in your area. I take these and put them into the coupon database.
