Regional Promotions
If you’re like me, after driving down the road for a bit in the Summer, the car windshield is laced with bugs or what’s left of them at least. It’s more than what my windshield wipers can handle!
An easy way to get rid of them, without washing the whole car, is to just mix up some ingredients you probably already have. You will mix 70/30 baking soda to liquid dish detergent until you have a paste. Dab a wet sponge into the paste and scrub the windshield, followed by a good rinse.
Liquid dish detergent isn’t recommended for use on car paint, so make sure to keep the paste on the windshield only! Once dry, you should have a sparkly clean windshield, free of bugs and dirt!

Having a limited entertainment budget does not mean you have to have limited fun! Every Friday I am going to share one frugal date idea for Frugal Date Friday. I hope this can be an encouraging post that helps you to build fun memories with your spouse.
The date night for this week is a $3 summer movie! You can send the kids to spend the night at the grandparents and enjoy a night out.
$3 Summer Movies Date Night
All summer long, AMC is going to have select movies for only $3! The movies show at 10 pm and the proceeds benefit Autism organizations. Many of the movies are already out on Redbox, but action movies are more fun on the big screen and the proceeds go to a good cause. Take this opportunity to dress up, get out of the house, and enjoy a cheap movie!
