Remember last year when we talked about the Hungry Jack Use Up the Box contest? Well, everyone has submitted their Hungry Jack recipes and now it’s time for all of us to choose a winner.
They’re down to nine finalists from all over the country who are all trying to win one year of FREE groceries. They all let us in on their creative and original recipes using Hungry Jack products and pantry staples for either of the categories: Breakfast for Dinner, Appetizers or Sweet Treats. If you have left over bread you can easily make your own bread crumbs! All you need to do is put the heels of your bread in the freezer.
When you need bread crumbs just put the bread in the food processor. This will grind it up so you have bread crumbs! If you don’t have a food processor you can use a cheese grater or finely chop it.
No one in my family will eat the heels of the bread so this is a great way to give it a new life!
