A new toy is on the market that looks like it could be a real hit. I haven’t seen one in action yet, but Ubooly is a toy that turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into an interactive stuffed animal. Happy Freebies has Uboolys for $20.97 which is cheaper than the $29.95 price on the Ubooly site.
You buy the plush stuffed animal and then download the free app on your Apple device and you’ve got a toy that tells stories, jokes, plays games, and more.
The app will be updated monthly with new content. This is not available for Android devices currently.
I don’t know much about this product personally but it’s gotten great reviews and looks pretty neat. If you have one, leave a comment and let us know how it is.

I’m excited to share that we are finally getting local workshops going again!! Being pregnant and having a baby in 2012 kinda slowed things down, but we are ready to hit the road for 2013!

I know that many hearts are heavy today. My prayer is that families would grow stronger as they remember the joy of having each other. In a small way I hope that couponing and saving money has helped in that. I know for my family all the money I have saved over the years allowed me stay home with my girls. There are so many moments that I am thankful I didn’t miss, and looking at them know I’m incredibly thankful that we were able to make it work.
To be honest, saving and couponing isn’t really easy and glamorous for most of us. The TV shows make it out to look like a game, and while it’s fun it is also a stressful necessity for most families. How to fight inflation on products (up almost 5-10% on some items in the last year) and not have an increase in budget? How to find the time to do couponing in the first place?
As you spend time reflecting this weekend on your family, kids and friends. I want us to all take a few minutes and remember why we started saving. There may be a few of you that started just because it was fun and you didn’t need to save, but I suspect most of you started because you needed to.
