I have to be honest  – one of the last things I spend money on is treating myself. As a new mom (again) I have been looking for little ways to spruce up without spending a lot.  One of my recent favorite finds is Cents of Style.  It’s a site that has great deals on shoes and accessories each week.

Their styles are always switching out so you can almost always find something to suit you. Cents of Style is perfect for someone like me on a budget because they have a ton of items for under $20… even shoes!  I also love that I don’t have to think too much about being fashionable, because they are on top of the latest trends and it’s all so cute.

Cents of Style sent me the pieces in the picture above to try out and I feel great in them! There are sparkly earrings, bracelets, a really soft scarf and a great pair of boots.  All of these pieces are perfect for Fall and Winter weather so I can still look cute even when I bundle up.

organic living journey raw vs pasteurized milk

The following is part of an ORGANIC JOURNEY GUEST POST SERIES, written by Amy a long time helper behind the scenes of Southern Savers.

I have dreaded doing research on dairy for many reasons. One, it is ridiculously controversial with opinions ranging from all dairy is evil to eat anything you want.  The kicker is that there doesn’t seem to be a clear consensus of opinion (I like things black and white!)  Two, to make changes in this area is super expensive, especially if you consume as much dairy as my family does.  Finally, there is just so much stinkin’ lingo in the dairy world.  Pastured and pasteurized, organic and raw, it’s a whole new language to learn.  As much as I hestitate to dive in, it is the next logical baby step for my family.  So here we go!
