Some fun news coming out of the Amazon camp recently. They are rolling out a month to month style membership option for their Prime service to SELECT MEMBERS.
The monthly cost is $7.99. Many of you probably quickly did the math, but $7.99 per month comes out to $95.88, more than the year long membership of $79.
The monthly membership will come with all the normal benefits of Prime service, Free 2-day shipping, streaming movies, and more.
Standard shipping on one item can approach and even exceed the $7.99 a month cost, so if you plan on doing plenty of holiday shopping at Amazon, a month or two of Amazon Prime makes a lot of sense.

Hoover sent me a WindTunnel Air Bagless Upright vacuum to try out for myself and I think it’s an all-in-one vacuum! It’s only 12.4 pounds, but offers a lot of power and versatility. The WindTunnel technology means it removes embedded dirt and minimizes blowback – this is a good feature for very “loved” carpets that have seen a lot of dirty feel in it’s days. It’s better than buying new carpeting and spending a ton of money! One of my other favorite things about this vacuum is that it has the deep recline capability. It makes it much easier to get the spaces under the furniture nice and clean.
