I’m not loyal to many brands, but toothpaste is one thing that I can never switch products on. I’m a Colgate Total girl, and any other brand just doesn’t taste or feel right. I confess that I didn’t pick this toothpaste because of any science and amazing features, I just liked it. Turns out though there is a lot of science behind it being a great brand… makes it even more solidly my favorite.
What’s so great about it??
It’s not like any normal toothpaste, it actually improves the health of your mouth. Starting with your first brush with Colgate Total, it already makes measurable improvements to your health.
Within 12 hours Colgate Total reduces 90% more germs. It helps fortify enamel in 24 hours, and in 6 weeks it improves gum health. There are a few different types of Colgate Total, one is Colgate Total Advanced Fresh + Whitening and while it prevents bad breath, cavities, plaque, gingivitis and tartar build up, it has some other cool technology, too. It’s formulated with an added flavor boost which keeps mouthwash fresh for up to 12 hours, and has a whitening system to help remove surface stains.
There are 5 different types in the Total line. I’m the Fresh +Whitening girl, but my husband likes the Advanced Gentle Care + Enamel Strength. It helps rebuild Enamel and protects teeth from acid wear for up to 12 hours.
