I don’t know about you, but I crave salty things, and it gets worse in the middle of the day… rather than heading for potato chips though I recently got a box of New York Style Bagel Crisps. We’ve seen sales on them and had coupons, but I had never tried them. For me it was the crunchy and salty that I wanted, but perfect with 50% less fat! (Yes pregnant people need to watch what they eat at least some of the time…)
The crisps have 50% less fat and 18% less calories than your average potato chip. It’s something I don’t feel terrible giving to my kids. It’s real bagel bread that’s baked to a crisp and comes in tasty flavors. I received Sea Salt and Garlic Mini Bagels and Crisps, and BBQ and Cheddar Mini Bagels. I couldn’t help myself from tearing into a bag of Garlic Crisps right when they arrived. One warning, you might not want to go on a date right after eating a serving of Garlic Crisps (unless your date likes the smell of garlic) but they were so delicious!
These would be awesome not only for snack time (maybe with a little hummus or cheese), but also if you’re planning a get-together or having friends over. You can also make these your own with one of their recipes. They have recipes for basically every occasion: brunch, parties, pizza night, salad toppers and more. If your looking for your bag of NYS Bagel Crisps or Mini Bagels in the chip section of your grocery store, turn around. You’ll find them in the deli department instead!
