Whenever free and pancakes are in the same sentence, you know it’s going to be good. IHOP is celebrating National Pancake Day, which apparently is 2/28, with FREE PANCAKES from 7 am-10 pm. IHOP is also using this time to support the Children’s Miracle Network by taking voluntary donations.
So, while you enjoy a free short stack of pancakes, I encourage you to help out and donate what you can.

I shared earlier this week that Coupons.com was offering a FREE year of their savings club right now, if you didn’t jump on it you still have a chance.
Their savings club normally costs $30 for year and gives you access to exclusive coupons. I don’t know that I would pay for this normally, but if they are giving out a free year, there is no reason not too accept the deal!
Heads up that you will be required to enter a credit card when you sign up. Nothing will be charged, but at the end of your free year it will auto renew so make sure that you cancel your membership before your renewal if you don’t want it.
Here’s an idea of the exclusive coupons I got earlier this week:

This was an off week for me from shopping. I pondered the cereal sale at Publix, and stood in my pantry for a good 20 minutes pondering again whether I should go. But… we already have at least 15 boxes of cereal and I just can’t justify spending the money when I know that it will come on sale again and we just don’t need it right now.
We have had a fun time of attempting to be frugal this week. We have been at Opryland in Nashville for a blogging conference called Blissdom. (I have to thank Veggie Tales for sponsoring me so that I was able to attend.) I don’t know if you have ever been here, but it’s just plain expensive. The rooms all the way to the food. So we started our journey packed with peanut butter & jelly, bread, easy mac and other easy hotel meals. I was thinking that surely an expensive hotel room would have a microwave… that was a silly thought. So we learned that you make a lot of things with hot water from a coffee pot!
We did splurge a little bit, and took the girls to the Grand Ole Opry tonight. Don’t worry though, we found a coupon code for that even!
How did you do this week on savings? Leave a link or a comment.
