Philadelphia Indulgence Coupon

If you are new around here, Kraft First Taste is definitely one of the sites you want to make an account for.  It gives you exclusive access to high value coupons and free offers for Kraft’s latest products.

Not everyone gets all of the offers, but many folks are reporting $1.50 off Kraft Philadelphia Indulgence coupons available in their account right now. I’ve started spotting these in the weekly ads and they look delicious so I logged on to check it out and sure enough, the coupon was there!

You may only find a $1 off coupon, or none at all, but it’s worth a quick check. The coupon should make these around $1 when combined with a sale.

VeggieTales is coming out with a brand new DVD and they want to celebrate with you!  Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men releases March 3rd and it teaches that there’s no hurt too big for God!

Here’s a brief overview from the folks at VeggieTales:

Robin Good has a mission – fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople’s hams, donations are down and Robin’s band of friends desert him to give robbing a try. Watch to see if Robin can overcome his hurt, show his friends what’s right and restore the townspeople’s hope.

With all the VeggieTales movies we have, I confess that every single one of them is just as much fun (if not more) for me.  I know they are geared towards children, but they always include so many jokes for parents that my kids rarely get.  My all time favorite was the Keebler Elf in the movie Lord of the Beans!

Want to get a copy of the new movie??
If you pre-order Robin Good right now, you will receive a free VeggieTales clock!  You can also see the VeggieTales when they come to a town near you on their VeggieTales Live Tour!  Kids of all ages can sing along to their favorite songs with their favorite characters.  Check out prices and dates for you area.

      saving in bilo

I decided to try my hand at my own little extreme couponing video in Bi-Lo.  Really this is more educational than the TLC versions ever will be, as I tried to break down fuelperks, stacking coupons, doubling, special promotions and a lot more.

If you don’t have a Bi-Lo there are still many concepts that will apply in other stores.

At one point I reference using the coupon database on your phone… make yourself a bookmark on your phone going to: http://clipmunk.southernsavers.com this will look like the normal database when you are on a computer but will be a mobile version on your phone!!  We also have a new app, check it out in the app store by searching Southern Savers!

In the end I thought we had filmed my basket but we didn’t… I purchased everything I showed you throughout the video except the razors and fruit snacks.  Just in case you were wondering what I bought.  Spending $8 for 2 boxes of cereal, pasta, peppers, lettuce, vitamins, capri suns, and lots of yogurt isn’t bad at all!

Do you have any other tips for saving money in Bi-Lo?

I’ve posted about this before, but here’s another opportunity to join the Nielsen Home Scanner Consumer Panel.  This is an interesting way to be a part of the grocery marketing industry, helping to show what people are buying in certain areas of the country.  There are also opportunities to review products and give feedback on various surveys.

You are rewarded with cash or other prizes based on your activity level.  I find that the most beneficial part is that you are really forced to keep track of what you buy and how much you buy.  It helps you know how much your spending and gives you a good idea of how to stock up too.

What are your experiences with Nielsen?
