    (thanks Frugal Coupon Living!)

There is a very fun deal on Groupon today!  Nationwide get 60% off Gymboree classes in your area.  The details and prices will vary by area, but the deal is mostly the same for all of us.

If you have never tried Gymboree classes with your little ones you will love it, and this is such a fun treat to get a huge discount on them. When my twins were little the thought of paying for both of them was too painful.  I’m excited that my three year can still enjoy this deal though!!

The fine print:  Only good for new customers, limit one per child.  You can buy up to 10 deals though (so if you have a big family go for it!).

      To get the deal:

      1.  Grab the voucher off Groupon (only available today).
      2.  Use it at the participating center in your area.

You will owe nothing at the Gymboree center since you have already paid through Groupon.

Find even more daily deals in your area across tons of daily deal sites.

Right now you can snag a free year of Popular Science Magazine courtesy of ValueMags!  You don’t have to enter any billing info and your first issue will arrive in 6-10 weeks.

One tip: Enter your address to get the magazine and then ignore all the “offers” that come up after the first screen.  You are good and close the window, no need to sign up for any of that…

Let your inner fashionista come out for this giveaway!  ShopAtHome.com is celebrating their 10th year online by offering additional cash back on your favorite stores from August 15-21 and they want to celebrate by giving 8 Designer Hand Bags from Home Shopping Network to Southern Savers Readers!  Choose from the 25 stores they’ve selected and receive an extra 10% cash back on all your qualifying purchases.  You can also save with their special Birthday Bash offers, discounts, and free coupons from featured stores and brands.

          How does cash back work??

When you shop online websites get credit (or commission) for referring you to other sites.  So cash back sites like Shopathome are sharing their commission with you!  If you’ve never used cash back shopping, your online shopping habits are about to change!  Sign up and log in to ShopAtHome and search for the retailer you want to shop with.  Click over to their site through the ShopAtHome link and begin shopping!  You shop just as you always do, and your ShopAtHome account will be credited the percent back after you make your purchase.

Be sure to check out ShopAtHome Birthday Bash event for a complete list of sites with 10% extra cash back. Here are some sites I want to hit while this deal is still live:

          Old Navy: 13% cash back
          Magazines.com: 38% cash back
          Target: 13% cash back
          Disney Store: 15% cash back
          HSN: 13% cash back
          Children’s Place: 14% cash back
          Walmart.com: 13% cash back

If you’ve never heard of HSN, it’s a retailer that distributes online, television, mobile, catalog, and in stores (it stands out to me as being the television show on air 24/7 365 days a year).  They have a strong direct-to-consumer expertise which means less of the middle man is involved.  You can get name brand high fashion designers without having to travel to New York or other fashion areas.  The bags above are made by big names like Badgley Mischka, Falchi, Sharif, and Elliott Lucca.  I confess I don’t know any of these names, but it would still be pretty awesome to have a purse that was actually considered in style!!

          The Giveaway:

ShopAtHome is giving away 8 bags from HSN to 8 Southern Savers Readers. Each bag retails between $150-$500!

I know that only a small drop of readers got to attend Becoming this past weekend, but I wanted to take the time and show you what everyone else missed and thank our awesome sponsors that helped make the weekend possible.

              First what did you miss:

A weekend filled with awesome women, laughter, fun, learning and rest.  Everywhere you look at Ridgecrest there are rocking chairs overlooking the mountains, the rooms have no TV (there is wi-fi though) and most of us had no kids.  Peace…

We heard from amazing speakers like The Nester, Angela from ButtonBird Designs, and a mom of 11 kids (plus Jen and myself but you knew we were there).  I could have used one on one time with each of them, they were each so passionate and had amazing things to share!

Many of you asked for notes from various sessions.  I know Angela already posted her “How to Paint Furniture” session and here is a link to just the outline from my keynote on becoming content.  We’ll try harder next year to figure out ways to record sessions since that has been the #1 piece of feedback we got.

              Now to our sponsors:

For Jen & I this was a first, and we really went in blind on what it costs to run a conference and the amount of work required.  There is no way we could have done it with out the three companies that stepped up and saw our vision for getting women together to talk about anything and everything they want to become.

I would love for all you to check them out and show them just how awesome they are!

Coinstar, the leader in coin converting, helped us all see the value in the little things.  A big take away we learned… remember that you can always convert your change into gift certificates to local and online stores and pay NO fee!  Find a location near you.

Savings.com is an awesome place to find online coupon codes, and a community of other “savers” gathering deals from around the web.  They are also on a mission this year to save America 1 Billion dollars, so take the pledge if you haven’t already.  The fun part to me about Savings.com is that you can set up your own page to follow just the deals you want to see!

Blessings Unlimited shined with their gorgeous home decor and wonderful message.  This is a wonderful company that is also a great way for women to make some side money working from home.

We also have to give them a huge thanks for the beautiful bags that they donated, we had people that worked at the conference center trying to figure out how to buy them!  I also loved that at the end of the weekend they gave away everything they brought!!

              Now on to next year!

We already have the dates so pencil it in so you won’t miss out.  September 21-22nd, 2012 at Ridgecrest in Asheville NC.  We will open up reservations in early 2012.

Snapfish has another great photo deal! Today only get 100 4×6 prints for $1 + tax using the coupon code WEDPRINT.

This is an $8 savings and 1¢ each is the best price around for basic prints, and the best part is shipping is FREE!

The code expires tomorrow so hurry and get your summer photos printed. This is seriously the best price we’ve seen in ages!!!!

                This is my total below:
